Dear Richard, I have been trying to configure my device, but when I get past the spot where I type in Admin, it always takes me to a page where I can't do anything and at the bottom it says Test Page. When I click on those words, it always takes me to a short page where, again there isn't much I can do. I hope you know what I am referring to and that you will help me get over this nightmare of trying t get this device to work!!!
Here for the same issue. I have a SIP profile with 2 lines on it. I would like the HT802 to ring port 2 when port 1 is already on a call. Have you figured out if this is possible with the HT802?
Is there anyone online that I can pay to help config just to use the HT801 as a home phone. I have the dial tone and logged in with my IP address but trouble configuring to use.
I followed your instruction, but phone got disconnected after a few hours... After checking, I found "Registration expiring time" is in minutes, and 3600 means phone don't get reregister in 60 hours... This is causing it deregister! Please correct it, it should keep the default value of "60"
provisioning server is when the device pulls configurations from Phone Power server. Configuration server are the settings you put in the device when you hand configure it. Provisioning is done automatically when you connect the device.
Is this a free service, I already have a fongo number that i use in my iphone. Can i buy this adapter and use that phone number to pair with the HT802 and can i make free local calls. I dont want to give a montly fee. So please let me know
First - Factory reset the device. Then enter the ip address of the device in your browser. If you still cannot access the device. Enter ***12 then 9#. If the device requests a password then it is locked and cannot be used with Phone Power.
Hi Richard, I need a help to get in setup box. Looks like i need a master password. I tried to use admin admin, but its not working. I tried admin 123456, not working ether. box was set up by somebody else. and i need to go inside ... How ?
If the device is new or has been factory reset the log in information is admin. If you cannot log into the device after factory reset the device may be locked to another company. After factory reset the login is admin as the video states.
You need to be using the grandstream device - There is no such password as 123456. If you factory reset device the log in will be admin and nothing else.

DNS server is what the internet converts words like www.google.com into an ip address so it can be routed on the internet. You can use 8.8.8.8 as a DNS server. Which is Google's DNS server
Looks like not. Research shows it is SIP and apparently only the obihai brands (obi200 etc) work with google voice as stand alone. Others can work with a paid service used as proxy but that defeats most of the purpose. So I went with a used obi200 for $38 on ebay.

Hi, Richard grate video! Isn't the HT802 a two port device? Can a HT802 be used as a two line HUNT Group set to Linear?

These instructions are ONLY for Phone Power customers with an active account. Not a free service.

If you use Phone Power service then Yes. If you use Google Voice then no. However the instructions in this video will not work with Google Voice.
