I still love XZ2 premium because I prefer ips lcd screen more than oled , this phone probably is the last premium phone using lcd from Sony , so I intend to buy it to replace my XZ premium.
That's what got me to start looking into the XZ2 premium as well! Just had an old Z2 die, and I love the fact that right up until the end the display was just as crisp as the day I bought it. OLEDs turn to junk after just a year or so; the colour balance goes off as the different LEDs degrade at different rates. Can't wait until mine arrives. This is my second attempt at ordering it (big shipping mixup with the first attempt :Þ ).
Karen Pease agreed. I chose the XZP among all the OLED smartphones because I am keeping my device for several years. After owning the Galaxy Note (2011), the Galaxy Note 3 (2013) and the A3 (2015) I was just tired of the degredation of their AMOLED displays. I can be assured in 5 years time my IPS display will look the exact same in 2022 as it did in 2017. I can't say the same for any AMOLED from Samsung. However, SONY's JOLED uses a different manufacturing process, I believe injection than evaporation (what Samsung uses) and it isn't prone to burn in. I still think it's prone to colour shift which is why I'm not upgrading my 4K HDR phone for a while
Except for the design that most of the people complain, for me its not a problem coz no matter at any kind of phone small or big bulky, or even before with the years of Phablet/tablet we're holding it and taking care of it. Overall performance - The Best ! Very Smooth, Battery is Okay, very fast Browsing and the Camera is one of the best right now if people wants Natural look picture and quality result, here's Sony XZ2 Premium.
@@ricardocajipejr3384 me too, even though I have xz2, and xz2 premium, xz2 premium is my favorite interms of everything including the design, xz2p design is so man like, simplistic and unique, how wide and heavy is even more comfortable to me than the other phones I had(iPhone X and note 8). It's a good phone. It's just that the general public values form and design over performance. Btw even though the phone has no headphone jack, using an LDAC compatible Bluetooth headphones more than makes up for any loss of quality over wireless vs wired headphones.
And videographers, A camera with recording in HDR would have a much higher price than this phone and includes an HDR screen, is a winning combo for creators And LDAC allows Wireless Hi Res audio
I think the indoor flickering you're seeing is real, not an artifact of the phone. It's common for indoor lights to flicker faster than the human eye can perceive (depending on the type of bulb). In fact, based on the rate of the flicker, that looks to be about AC frequencies.
Not gonna lie. It honestly seemed like you didn't know how to use this device and only read off the spec sheet. Very disappointed in this review. It does play SONY's Hi Res format through LDAC. It has the best display on the market imo. Probably the best low light camera right now. I will agree, they should've put more battery in this thick body though
The high ISO's are usable in extreme low light, not where there's a total spot of light

You made it sound like the flicker in the indoor slomo was the cameras fault, in reality it's the AC through the bulb.

Kyle Alexander no, it doesn't. For any tracks playing at CD quality yes but anything higher than CD quality such as DSD won't play at full quality
