I've been happily single and childless for nearly 70 years. When I was 4 my Mom said she wanted me to have grandchildren someday. I told her with great certainty that she would have GRAND-DOGS, and by golly, I kept my word. I have done animal rescue for over 60 years and the rewards have been tremendous. If you ever feel lonely - go to an animal shelter and volunteer your time, walk a dog, foster a dog, or if you can - ADOPT. There are millions of dogs that need good homes. Be one! Woof!
I grew up watching Lassie in the late 50s and all through the 60s.I love that show and all the Collies our family had as members of our family always reminded me of that remarkable dog.
lassie show in 1950's they don't make shows like this anymore decent and wholesome.2021will never make shows this decent who's watching this with me in 2021.
Just remember that “decent” and “wholesome” in the 1950s was only that way for whites. You won’t see any black actors on these shows. Interracial marriage was illegal, and schools were not integrated until 1954.
Lassie was my favorite television show when I was growing up in the 50s and 60s. I looked forward to it every Sunday night. We had collies when I was growing up and later I had my own Coilie, Sammie. They all reminded me of Lassie.
@@ryanmurra6125 I didn't know they were running Lassie in syndication. I am so glad you got to watch that wonderful show, and I hope you enjoyed it. I love that beautiful dog..
Lassie is a very awesome dog and very smart. I think alot of people would be very proud to have a dog like Lassie. She does stuff that a regular dog wouldn't do so that makes Lassie a very special dog. Woof! Woof!🌝👍🌝👍

I met Jon Provost at a comic con. Really nice guy. His wife Lorie was with him. I talked with him for a while and he let have his picture taken with him, even though he wasn't supposed to that.
My service dogs have always been Rough Coated Collies. Lassie did all my PR work. Pilot, my service dog is socially acceptable and welcome in public places.

Such wholesome entertainment. Today Timmy would be going in for gender transition surgery, his father would come out as bisexual, Mr. Cully would be a trans woman, and the mother would be reading critical race theory books to Timmy.
yes.. isn't progress wonderful that people can finaly live the way they acyually feel they are and not be stuck in a mold others created for them. And chimps aren't kept in tiny cages in old ladies living rooms.
@@jakealden2517 no I mean mold others think they should " live." People can "live" the way they choose. It's not up to someone else to dictate their life. If they are comfortable, what's it to you? And DNA doesn't create male or female. Chromosomes and other chemicals do. The DNA just houses our data.
There will never be a show like Lassie. My 35 years on this planet I was born and raised with collies
I just sent the link to my granddaughter, she never heard of Lassie! Time to bring back simple clean entertainment :)😏
