I think invasions only existing on NG+ is a good fix, but people did neglect to tell Shen that only people within a certain range of your level can invade so as long as you learn the game you should have a decent chance (provided people aren’t hacking like in DS1 and/or using a low SL build like Giant Dad)
I know nothing about Demon souls but I bet I can guess the Phalanx's backstory: a phalanx of humans encounter the glowy twisty branches and are melted into goo and controlled by it
Actually thats not even close. There are four warriors of king allant, each of them ended up becoming a demon due to allants corruption and he uses them to defend the places he rules along with using them as pawns to slow down that player from getting there. When the phalanx dies you can see the outline of a woman with a bow, that is the phalanx and the other parts of the phalanx were her loyal soldiers and comrades she so dearly wanted to protect. You actually meet the "spirit" forms of all of them eventually and have to fight them all at once as red phantoms.
Look up this guy named Vaatividya if youre interested in the lore. You cant predict a fromsoft games story theres literally no possible way because Miyazaki made absolutely sure that at least half the story was hidden through speculation along with tiny details. Almost nothing is explained to you, you have to find the truth of your own volition.
Love Shen even more she too thinks like I do that Fromsoft adding pvp/invasions in all their games (excluding Sekiro of course right?) With absolutely no way to take them off unless you play offline is the most shittiest,scummy bullshit thing they do. I have a fiery passionate hate and dislike for PVP was never a fan of it fuck pvp and everything it stands for and don't get me started with DS3's pvp. Giving the player a buff in the form of embers (makes you slightly stronger and slightly increases your overall health) however ALSO making them the pvp item in Dark Souls 3 was such a dickbag move and of course... You can't even enjoy the benefits of embering without opening yourself up to invasions and no way of saying fuck off to invaders/invasions unless you permanently play offline (which I do most of the time anyway so it's whatever). That's why I'm happy in Elden Ring Fromsoft are finally slowly but surely getting their shit together by releasing updates to Elden Ring separate from single player and pvp meaning if say they release any patches for PVP it stays EXCLUSIVE to PVP separate from single player while personally I would much like them to remove PVP all together it's better than nothing.
I mean it also has the best range and as far as I know fromsoft rarely makes things highly resistant to piercing damage so its actually a pretty good play minus stamina consumtion

Im pretty sure she did enjoy it but there is a LOT of flaws with it. Especially the DLC like if there was any DLC that ruined an entire game its definitely code vein

@@ShenpaiStreams I completely understand what you mean. I thought the game was overblown as hell and the ONLY thing that saved it for me were some of the bosses. The basis of the story felt alright but the way they executed it was just god awful. If they make another code vein they really should try implementing the story of god eater a little more along with bosses from it as well.

I hope to play it some day but Ive only got an xbox right now. Ive beat all the dark souls games, code vein, and devil may cry 5 on 4 different difficulties but I cant remember which. I literally cant play a game if it isnt hard. I also beat kingdom hearts on critical mode recently

It seems easier because the games arent near as clunky and the hitboxes arent near as busted as they used to be.
