In your video you are using the filter fan. Do you find it still has smoke. I do medium roasts and would like to know if it will work in my kitchen without the vent pipe for the winter.
Great overview, thank you. The results in full automatic mode is a bit disappointing if you expect the results to be somewhat close to what is listed on the back of the control module. But I guess once you become proficient with the roaster you will use the automatic mode less and less.
In my opinion, the default preheat of burner at 100% and fan at 0% is not a good idea. The fan should be running to circulate heat through the roaster as it heats up. I put the burner at 50% and fan at 50% to preheat the roaster. Once again.....just my opinion.
@morningcoffee1 Thank you. My Skywalker roaster arrived earlier. I think I will do one roast in automatic mode to season the roaster. Than my second roast will be my official first roast that I will consume. Did you season your Skywalker by any chance?

Very minimal, like 10 to 20% or the normal smoke only.

It depends on the beans density, but the roaster is capable of roasting to any level.

In automatic mode you have to set the pre heat temperature or is it automatic?
It is automatically set based on each profile you select.
