I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this Everytime I see a Doug Demuro video he's constantly smashing his fingers on buttons repeatedly slamming trunks and car doors closed it's just irritating to watch.
The 12-13 Boss cars didn't get the Tremec, unfortunately, they still have the same Chinese MT-82 as the regular GTs. Also a cool feature you didn't mention is that these have dual side exhaust in addition to the rear dual exhaust. They have a really cool sound. Thanks for showing us this beauty!
Yes MT-82 was really the cars downfall with it's high rpm. The side pipes are what sold me on my boss. When you remove the restrictor plates the side pipes sound incredible.
@@zacreedy1361 Actually the tranny isn't that bad, it's the clutch which causes the high rpm lockout. Went through the same thing in my 14, installed a lightened flywheel, upgraded the clutch and went one piece aluminum driveshaft, feels like a different car.
Great review, this one is actually missing the really large front splitter with rod supports that actually tie into the bumper structure. These cars are great to drive and really come alive after 3k RPM. Also, the Tach and Speedo are on different sides of the dash from standard cars for track use. Car was designed to compete with the M3, it ended up outperforming it.

The front splitter you pointed out was on all Boss 302s. The LS's came with an additional splitter with the supports in the center. Most owners that didn't track their cars removed them because they scraped on everything. This owner seemed to be apart of that group.
They didn’t remove them....the bigger LS splitter was included with the car but customer installed. From the factory all Bosses came with the smaller splitter installed.
