Hemant Da or Hemant Kumar Mukhopadhyay or Mukherjee is an evergreen musician... his characteristic voice and his silken music has created nostalgia.
Khamoshi was his own production and potentially the last movie that had great music and did decent business.
My humble tribute to this musical genius who ruled for 2 decades and left some memorable music.
His son is married to the famous actress of 70s, Maushmi Chaterjee... it is probably Hemant Da's progressive thoughts that he encouraged Maushmi Ji to work post wedding.
