There are battery balancing modules...some of them, like DateX2 actually allows two different battery voltages...like...a 48v and a 52v...or a 36v and a 48v. Or two same 48V for example, with different amp hours.

Hi Ebike guy. Ur builds r epic. Quick question. Im building a ebike and have a 52v 40amp battery along with a 40amp controller. I heard i had to match the amps on both the battery and controller. Is this true? Or can i bypass the battery amps with a more powerful controller. Thank you. 😊
Just started riding a E-Scooter and i love it i got seat on mine its just a entry level and wish i could make it a little quicker it goes 19 mph now 28-30 mph would be good ,any ideas ???
Honestly? No, start with a low-powered build first 😂 I got a few close encounters with death with just under 2000 Watts, as other traffic simply isn't accustomed to bikes going this fast. Takes a while for the rider to ride defensively.
If you are going to be serious about getting good value / performance but don't know much about ebikes, you can buy a pre-built samebike or something similar for $1000 then go ahead and get a 3000w nb power kit and a 72v batt and just swap everything over. for about $2400 you can have a 55mph bike easy
I see that you have tried the Glitter and the Docreate spot welders - which one do you like the best ? - Thanks Im wanting to build a 72v Molicell pack for a YZ and use copper strips
The thing about DIY builds is the fact having 2 motors gives the user a much better use of motors for you can rev up the NM Torque combining 2nd motor , like a separate GEAR MODE as feeling the use of 2nd motor of increasing the base motor just feels more useful than just 1 motor as those are boring, lol, of just feeling 1 motor power. The latest factory made Dual motors are just combined off of 1 throttle instead of feeling increase of power of adding 2nd motor of a free play use over the fixed Dual motors of a preset of combining2 motors off 1 throttle, not fun. Best part is the separation of both motors of throttles as you can give a little of 2nd motor to 1rst motor in use and increase power from 2nd motor of increasing the NM Torque of certain hill climbing. DIY or factory made, I always buy a factory made ebike to do a DIY Dual Motor from every bike I have.
This latest diy Dual motor turned out on how both motors work off each other as a real direct application of a real Turbo Boost. Main motor is a gear motor of 1000 watts the front DIY motor is basic Gearless DD at 1000 watts also. The factory main motor will go up at 30mph as the DD also 30mph. When using the Front as main drive I can rev the factory gear during use and the Bike increases to 35mph. Besides this app , when Im going up steep and long hill the adding of factory gear gives extra Gear lift of cruising up hill at 32mph. I think I figured out the specs to be able to have these features as my previous ones do not give me that extra 3 to 5 mph increase ( Factory rear main motor were lesser watts than front DD ) and the powerful super gear lift of maintaining top speeds. My fat tire is labeled as advance user of how motor performs of other preferences Ive yet to learn unlike previous ones. I get budded so I always never bored of what I express on line, ,lol. I do not FBook crowd and stay away from high school groupee fads). @@E-bikeguy
This is what I did learn on how to get features. Rear always a Gear type of levels, front a Direct Drive gearless of same watt ( not greater than rear gear along with the NM Tourqe rating of the front needing to have less NM rating for the rear Gear to catch fronts to take over. Rear motor will go to the PAS Speed takoever of getting those extra mph thinking the speed of the front is of the pedals. Its why we go faster with PAS peddling but with this set up it becomes automatic off throttle. This is how I will set up future builds as standard set up.
Final note, not sure if the watts need to be less or more ( its just set up this time of having both same watt or same watts, but one needs to be a gear in back and front a DD) But , this part of the NM rating is a matter of functions. The FRONT DD needs NM lesser than the Rear GEAR MOTOR to be over to take over. My rear motor is 85NM, front is just 34 nm ( cost forced me to get this but turned out perfect) PERFOMANCE over factory duals ( those all same on both of gears and only works at same throttle when turned on. More eye candy than practical but works, not as good as it should off factory set up..
yes diy, = better, i seen alot broken brand e-bikes, even santa cruz expensive bikes, they get rain in the compartment were the cables are, and then no error on screen but they fail to go. stuff like that.
Well you want a ebike with room for a battery if you going to upgrade I like hud motors because they are quite no need to worry about chain pop or bent sprocket depending on how you ride tho
i think Dutch kids watch American videos, kids from 11-14 on a Fatbike where on the Dutch highway what is not allowed, we got special bike lanes and routes. they hack to bike to go faster. alot of complains about Fatbikes in The Netherlands..
How much range do you get with the battery you have having to contain with the 8000w motor doing real world speeds along with the terrain bridges, stops/starts?
E-Bikeguy....the Street Lights are triggered by Magnetic strips in the ground...you can see them Cut into the Ground at the Intersection...take a peek next time at a light. If you place enough Earth Magnets on the bottom of your bike frame...You will trigger the light to change the second you ride over the strips......
He's so fast on an ebike, he walks at 15 mph.... 😂 Edit: When starting out building e-bikes I think it's more important to start on pedal bikes because you learn a lot of important stuff when you first start out then you can start getting creative w/ upgrades then move to the pre-made frames.... Everyone has to start somewhere and it's easier to learn on a bike because they're a little more simple. 😁👍 Edit 2: 😂😂😂 The ghost pedaling at 68 mph is fkn hilarious 🤣

I got a few close encounters with death with just under 2000 Watts, as other traffic simply isn't accustomed to bikes going this fast.
Takes a while for the rider to ride defensively.
I definitely agree 💯💪🏿
great videos!! what did it cost to build that bike
That bike I have just $800 invested in it
Most great creative inventions begin in backyards, garages, and basements, that's a fact, copies and duplicates happen in factories
💯 I definitely agree 👍
If you are going to be serious about getting good value / performance but don't know much about ebikes, you can buy a pre-built samebike or something similar for $1000 then go ahead and get a 3000w nb power kit and a 72v batt and just swap everything over. for about $2400 you can have a 55mph bike easy
Definitely true!!
Diy is something about building your own thatS how youngot where you are by being original
Exactly 💯 thank you for that information 🙏
I see that you have tried the Glitter and the Docreate spot welders - which one do you like the best ? - Thanks
Im wanting to build a 72v Molicell pack for a YZ and use copper strips
It depends on what type the glitter spot welder you get , they both are good up to .2mm but at that it's a hit or miss
I haven't learned to built own battery yet built but I don't know I should because I will make a mistake that I won't want
That's understandable
and another 1 lets go.
I like the sound of that , I would do two geared hub motors instead of the dual heavy direct drive ones
Holy fuck that was fast
yes diy, = better, i seen alot broken brand e-bikes, even santa cruz expensive bikes, they get rain in the compartment were the cables are, and then no error on screen but they fail to go. stuff like that.
back yard hack , the world greatest achievement were arm chair scientist in their back yard
💯💯💪🏿
I have not watched your channel long enough to know but how can we buy one?
Just email me at theebikeguy08@gmail.com
Do you have a video on the build you are ridding in this video?
Yes I do ,,check out my channel you will see it there
God bless
23:03 usb in your new bike just for the GoPro lol
Gopro was at 50%
Which ebikes are best for upgrades and why do you prefer hub drive over mid drive bikes
Good vid just subbed
Thank you so much 💯
Mannnn that bike is fast.....
Lol, thank you 🤣 it really fun to ride
I need to see what kind of magic you can work on a mid drive Mountain bike
Ok I was thinking about getting one done
How much range do you get with the battery you have having to contain with the 8000w motor doing real world speeds along with the terrain bridges, stops/starts?
Well I really don't know, but so far I did 34miles traveling speeds of 55mph 43% left ... I'll do a video on it soon for sure
Build your own ebike! Better than store bought bikes 😊
I built a custom Swft zip electric bike dual motor dual battery powered love it ride it everyday
Oh wow 👌 I will definitely take a look!
He's so fast on an ebike, he walks at 15 mph.... 😂
Edit: When starting out building e-bikes I think it's more important to start on pedal bikes because you learn a lot of important stuff when you first start out then you can start getting creative w/ upgrades then move to the pre-made frames.... Everyone has to start somewhere and it's easier to learn on a bike because they're a little more simple. 😁👍
Edit 2: 😂😂😂 The ghost pedaling at 68 mph is fkn hilarious 🤣
🤣🤣🤣💯
👍🏻.
What's the name of that light
It's a newboler light from temu
I know these are 273's but what controller would u recommend for the 5000w qs205 50h 3.5t v3 also what should my P and S setup be for a molicel pack?
I would do the fardriver 72680 ! It's a great controller for the qs 205 , and go 20s 10p minimum
Hi Ebike guy, where is a good place to contact you?
Hit me up at theebikeguy08@gmail.com
Thanks email sent!@@E-bikeguy
Ebike guy I need your help my brother
What can I help you with..
Nice vid you do need to invest in some riding gear gloves and helmet 1st
Even just a helmet. Make it cool with a custom paint job or custom vinyl wrap. I also hate wearing safety gear but promised myself this season I would get at least a helmet. I am 40 in a couple weeks and have never wore a helmet.
Backyard hack? GMB …. People hate the fact you can be fast without spending 10k … it’s jealousy and greed…. We don’t care what they spend money on so why should they??
I definitely agree brother every since I built that ebike I had nothing be haters
How to do I become a customer
Email me at theebikeguy08@gmail.com
Yo can you help me bro I want that 1500w 60v help me bro
Heck yeah bro 👊🏿 I can help you out
DIY all the way
I built my e-bike there's a Short video of it on my page..
Send me a link
your Bike is scary fast..Be safe out there
@indogyrsimdead thank you brother 💯 I will 🙏
brotha you making me nervous put on a helmet you gonna be riding at a high speed.....please!!!!
I suggest that you stop recording your speed because it can be used against you in court
Understand 👊🏿
The answer is no. We should get rid of all electric bikes and make hydrogen bikes.
Your child passed away a few weeks ago? That's so sad, sorry to hear!
Yeah, bro, he was on the way home too
Damn! Just caught that. Your going through it hard.
@digits6667 yeah man, it still hurts 😪
