@@clyden1685 Not just your locals, everywhere. The markers are actually worth something because you use them in Masques decks. Gripho right now is shiny binder fodder and random cheese in Premium Valkerion.
I’m considering trying Brandt gate Dragontree with the Maid engine, but not sure how well that one will work. My current Orfist Dragontree deck has actually done pretty well in locals, so not sure what to say on that…
One thing i normally do with rorowa is attack with vanguard first so i can give any trigger effects to the token so two units benefit from the power gain when they attack, I'm curious, why in the first game attack with momokke token before the vg attack? Have yall found it to be better pressure or have i been mistaken about how the radylina can copy the trigger power too?
Probably just a game state and judgment call If he attacked VG first trigger’s could have been hit defensively and then momoke couldn’t hit Or something of that sort
@The Top Deck Heroes That's super fair. I was mostly just wanting to make sure I wasn't misinterpreting how the power transfer works or something, because if so I owed my friend an apology when I hit overtrigger offensively and carried the power from mommoke to radylina to grade 3 radylina XD
Sometimes I would swing with a weak Momokke to bait easy guards (Asking to 5k guard) just to see what the opponent is willing to give up on their turn. If they used up a "good" card, I just limited their offense. But I only do thay tactic if they have a sizable hand. I would like to cut down in chips.
@Charles G Ah okay. Small pokes to incentivize them to use up their offensive units. I hadn't considered that approach with the token. When I play against my friends I usually just try to go as aggressive as possible, since rorowa doesn't really meter any advantage in card draw or through defensive options (the token sacrifice ability rarely comes up when standard numbers are as big as they are)
@Joshua Green its certainly a conservative route to take, but do the tactic sparingly. Rorowa is a rush deck after all. Maybe before the style of going all in works because you have nothing left to lose, but this new one could probably afford some form of conservatism via pokes. See how it feels for yourself to judge its efficacy. Half of the tactic is reading your opponent to see how desperate they are to guard your pokes.
I think Alex should re consider taking out the new grade 2 because that combo with Shinepost is menacing 25k power just from retiring shinepost twice is impressive
Thanks to V Premium we know that markers can stack, its just important in dragontree what the effect says All cards except for the G10 say to make a marker on a RG without one, Griphogila just says make markers so you are allowed to stack
@@elin111 that’s what I thought too because usually you’re one card away from getting the over trigger before your opponent kills you in most circumstances I wanted them to make a card that removes calamity cards and maybe a set order where for every calamity card in your soul griphosid gains a grade
Trying to stall for so long isn't really viable, Gripho's problem is being so slow. Making it even just a bit quicker is more efficient than trying to make stalling work.

22:01 this time the ad kicked in and man. The black magic in Alex eyes can be seen visibly.
With the new YouthQuake rideline that came out I think it's only right to fight it against Bavsagra because they do the same thing
arms vs arms? yes!
It would be an Arms race.
31:01 He finally did it😂.
17:26 damn i should sneeze more before doing trigger checks to get this black magic😂

bruuuh channeled his inner black magic on that defensive triggers
Or it's Filip's blessing coming true soon :P
One day eventually they'll make a card that makes Gripho function. Good thing I picked them when they're below dirt cheap just in case
The funny thing is the Dragontree Markers cost more than Gripho itself, at least at my locals

at 6:11 Momokke should be 15k 5k from eating 1 plant token and another 5k from order
Yup
He just forgot
Lets goooooooo! Rorowa hype!!!!!!
Since when the dragontree marker can put 2 on 1 circle? For game 1
same fam. i feel like they might errata the griposid to without a marker. cuz it just puts a dragontree on a RC. it does not say without a marker.

I have no idea what dragontree needs to make it good the order helps but it’s not what they need
Something that makes removing the 3 Calamities faster. But then it might become busted if they do that.

More draw power. The deck expects you to survive without any draw engine to get to more cards somehow

I wonder if it's intentional with BG having the strongest OT, the Dragontree ended up being the clunkiest due to Set Order focus.
The OT aspect of Dragontree pretty much never matters. Putting a basic Trial deck OT would be the same.
