- In this video I use the Law of Universal Gravitation and the Universal Gavitation equation to solve for the two unknown masses when the force and distance between them are given.
Thank You sir, after almost 8 years you helped me with my physics homework!
after 11 years now
@@cormacmcnees1810 lol good luck bro
What about both masses are unknown?
Wow sir this is what you are teaching for college students is there in class seven of india
thank you im a nasa intern and you really helped me out
Thank you so much MAn! This is the best video ever!
thank you so much! I've been searching for the right formula but stumbled across one's that were too confusing, this was very helpful!
I discovered that Force (physics) does not physically exist in the same way that an object with mass does, thus making it "not" the initial cause of motion, pushing, pulling, working, etc., because it does not physically exist to make physical contact, much less push or pull. Thus, making any equation that uses Force (F) a false equation. ~Guadalupe Guerra from Laredo, Texas c/s
Please understand that this video was created as a tutorial for a high school physics course or an introductory college course. It is intended to help students understand the concepts and use the universal gravitation equation to solve problems they were assigned by their professors. And this content accomplishes this. My response to YOUR comment follows…
It is true that our concepts and equations that we call physics are not necessarily exact descriptions of reality. The development of quantum physics and relativity physics reveal the need to find new explanations and models when existing models are no longer sufficient. It is true that fundamentally gravity itself is not actually a force but instead a distortion in space caused by the presence of matter that seems to act similarly to our notion of force. However flawed or incomplete, in a great multitude of cases, F=Gm1m2/d2 is good enough of a model to give us good results.
As a footnote, the satellites that help our cellphones give us global navigation are moving fast enough that in order to increase accuracy, a relativistic shift must be factored in.
All true, but I am attempting to help these students understand and solve their assigned problems. The alternative is for them to explain to their professors that they should not assign such problems as they are not set in the reality. Minds like Copernicus evolve our understanding and change our perspective. Maybe you are one of those. Make a video, send me a link, and I will watch! Always progress knowledge. Bravo
I’m so cooked my professor didn’t give any hints💀💀
Concise and informative... I love it.
I am doing this in middle school this is the high school version ahhhhhh and I have a test tommorow over this !!!
Thank you sir
thank you 😍
Ooh thank God I found ur channel I have a test over this tmrw🤣
Helped a ton! Thank you.
A 9 kg hanging decor is suspended in the ceiling with a string. What will be it's gravitational force or weight if the string will be cut?
Can't believe I almost get it, besides using a calculator and not knowing the 10 -11 part.
The rest makes sense.
And I sucked at school math I could only do + and - some times tables.
Physics maths seems way more logical and symbolics.
Gives more meaning and seemse easier.
Thankyou you've helped me a lot sir!!
how can you get the mass of the first particle if you aren't using calculator?
Explained wonderfully tough.
Thank you so so much 🌺 🌺 this really helped!
you put the value of distance wrong sir..
i got some tips from here ....thats why thanks sir
Thanks so much!
❤
how to solve this question
if the distance between the centres of two identical balls is 1 metres and the force of Attraction between them is 1 newton the mass of each one of them equals
☺️
What if you're given one of the masses? Then what do you do?
I still don't get it... Maybe I'm inputting the units into the calculator wrong.
i fvckin hate math 😭
I still don't get this is uninformal!
Ahhhh thanks

Alright I am not getting a hint, or anything here's the question
Calculate the gravitational force between the sun and the earth (show your math)
NO HINTS! I'm so confused please help!
well you have to search up the mass for the sun and the earth online and then you use the equation to solve for gravitational force.
