We live on a very beautifull, rich world,if we only would be really aware of that...thanks for sharing.
I got about one out of every ten.
Who knew sulphur could be such a beautiful shade of lemon yellow.
I’ve only ever saw the crumbly, milky yellow variation. Very cool.
Ikr! Truely amazing isnt it. Thank you so much for watching! ✨🌹
I'm a late learner and your videos are so captivating!
I surprised myself that I knew of more than I thought and now I want to learn more.
Thank you, your videos have inspired me to learn more!
Awesome work collecting all these awesome shots & editing them!
Thank you for watching and for your delightful comment. It did take a long time finding all these lol. Im happy you have learned from seeing them!
You Rock 🤭 Literally 🥰❣
Another blow-my-mind video; I'm going to be all night mopping up now! But seriously, you've made a huge effort here, WM, & it's 100% super-Rad! I love your work, & esp how you manage to track down so many pix for so many obscure gems & minerals...WM, you've done it again!
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words. yes this indeed took many hours and days, even weeks to put together lol. I much appreciate your words :)
I definitely shared this video. You covered many specimens, I enjoyed it. Thanks (I got some right 🤪)
Awesome! Thank you for sharing! Which ones your fav?
Let's just say I now know just how much I don't know....lol So much beauty❣️ That had to take a huge amount of time. So well done. Thank you very much. Be blessed always 🙏❣️🖖
Lol yes that did take quite a bit of time but was my pleasure. Im so glad you enjoyed the vid n you are very welcome :) ✨🌹
This is an unique muséum you have here. I never heard about so many 😭. Thank's.
You are so very welcome. Glad you enjoyed! And thank you for your kind words. ✨🌹
3:23 that is actually Star Sapphire, which is Corundum. and it has a double star, usually they only have 6 Rays due to the crystal structure and the way the titanium oxide grows within.
That bugged me too. There are many other inaccuracies.
Great video Whims, I loved all the stones and gems. I got alot of the right, some I never heard of, lol! Ty for sharing! - Your Bestie
Thank you bestie! LOL yay you got alot right! I know, there were so so many I have never heard of either till I discovered them. Such beauty of the world. Your very welcome and thank you for watching!
@@WhimsyMeadows - Yvw2
I guessed right on a few, wrong on some, and clueless on most! 🌈 Thank you ❤️
Lol well you did great on those you guessed right. Can watch again or my other videos and I bet you will do better. Thank you my dear for watching
Wow, amazing. I enjoyed seeing so many.
I did very well, got the majority correct, had trouble with the ones that were cut into gemstone shape already...theres so many that look similar and most like that are available in wide range of colors. And there were a handful of stones that I have never heard of or seen so it wasn't just a test but educational as well. could you do more like this one please, I really enjoyed the challenge. I have 102 crystals in my collection but my new challenge is I'm trying to get every jasper type known to man, or at least get all available to me.
These are fun arent they. Amazing to learn such a vast majority exists in this world of ours. Im so glad you enjoyed this and ive made a few more guessing ones. My next vid i plan on showing how vast the opal is. ✨🌹
Thanks so much for this. And I thought I was getting good with defining minerals. NOT. LOL
thats ok...i still have trouble with them at times lol. Thank you for watching! ✨🌹
@@WhimsyMeadows Many can be confused with others that look so close in appearance. Labradorite is one of my all time fav.'s. but even it can be confused with Black opal, and a few others. At least for me they look alike. I think in time I'll do better at details.
@@CarolynDenison you are very right. So many do look alike or very similar n can be difficult to tell apart. This is why i put them in alphabetical order hoping would help some lol. Many blessings✨🌹
I did pretty well. If I could only have one thing, I would take that absolutely beautiful tsavorite. I
Congrats on doing so well! And i know what you mean. Thats a gorgeous green stone. ✨🌹
Great video very informational, helps me out! Thank you!

Wow! So many different, really beautiful
Im so glad you enjoyed this. I tried showing as many as i could lol.
Thanks. An amazing compilation. So many lookalikes that surely even the expert gemoligists can't positively identify all of them without analyzing the chemical composition of their atoms?
You are so right! Thank you for watching and subbing! I hope you will come back again
awesome i have a few gemstones and rough myself
Really enjoyed your video and gemstones
Glad you enjoyed, thank you for watching !

Fantastičan video. Nice! 💎👍
Hvala na gledanju! ✨🌹
I got about a dozen. Beautiful specimens.
Yay congrats thats awesome! Now watch again n see how many more you know ✨🌹
I guessed 142 correctly. About 20 I have never heard of. I study gemology, so we don't learn much about stones that are not used for gemstones. On a few, about 8, it seems like you used "trade names" rather that their scientific names but I realize you were trying to help us by being alphabetical. This is fun and a great challenge, and I will go through it several times until I get closer to 200. I was surprised you did not have pezziottaite...it is one of my favorites because it has stunning inclusions. Thank you for all your work putting this together. The music is much more appealing on this one. Besos, Cary
Congrats thats great! I tried to include as many as i coukd in this vid lol. Thank you for watching! ✨🌹
Glad you liked the music. And ill see about including pezziottaite in my next video. Peace ✨🌹
i have been in gem trade since over a decade and was able to guess just some of them, thanks for sharing
Thats great! Im so happy you were able to guess some. Thank you for watching and subbing
i did better than i thought i would ,i knew about 10 , i liked that very much iam a big fan of gemstones got a very small collection myself ,thanks for doing that❤️🌹💋

Hi Karen thank you so much for watching. I actually do have a video showing crystals, minerals n stones in raw, polished n carved forms. Please look for that n have a blessed day. Peace ✨🌹
I couldn't tell you where, but I did see Moldavite in the video. Only reason I remember it is because I sat here a wrote them all down. I'm to ashamed to tell how many I had never even seen before.
Moldavite was included in this video. But not in its raw form. ✨🌹
@@CarolynDenison nothing to be ashamed of. You now know more than you used to. ✨🌹
Had no idea, there were so many...thanx...
Ikr lol. Amaxing isnt it :)
Wow I really am happy that I found this video! I know some of them but thanks to this video I learned about some crystals I didn't know about! So thanks so much!

Please watch my videos of Crystals, Minerals & Gems that begin with each letter of the alphabet. Right now I am on R which i will upload next week. so please stay tuned.
Wow! I want them all! I knew a lot more than I thought. But some stumped me by the way the light hit or the cut. But goodness me..🤪🤑🙀🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Took time to gather all of these but glad you enjoyed the vid. Thank you for watching ✨🌹
@@WhimsyMeadows Thank you for putting this together! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
18:15 I'm sure that this Sapphire is man-made. Color is very uniform, they don't grow like this (also no natural inclusions are visible) I have synthetics from China that are broken in this exact way.
I think you might be right after I axamined the photo again. But really who knows for sure? I am happy you watched and I am continually learning. I plan on uploading vids weekly so please watch for those. I could always use some expert advice :)
Can you make a video of the ones that are toxic? Thank you in advance!💖

Thank you i shall ✨🌹
Some of the stones are already polished.
What can they make with the sandstone ?
What about pallasite and petalite ?
I was under the impression I knew more. Oh well 🥲
They are also give my love to have them all
So much wonder and beauty. Did you cut and polish these your self? I love the different stages showing some as natural and then cut and polished. Thank you for sharing your amazing Inspiring collection. #thefinders
Thank you for your kind words. I love these treasures and i do have a vid on gems in their raw and polished forms. ✨🌹
If only some very kind minerologist or veteran rock hunter would show a split screen of th mineral in its raw state then its cut or polished state. It would make identification so so so much easier & allow us to pick up stones that we wouldn't normally do because some fabulous gems look absolutely crap in their raw state. Not that im a prospect hunter, i collect b coz i love what i see or how mineral feels in my hand but it would be th icing on th cake to find a valuable stone by knowing WHAT it looks like in its raw state. So many people must have disregarded stones as nothing special when it could have been a diamond or emerald or sapphire. Iv looked for yrs for a book guide to show me both raw & cut stones a good comprehensive variety but not found one ( there is one fab one but its £75)
What a wonderful idea, ill see what i can do, but in meanwhile, here is a vid i did showing raw n polished. N ill get started on that video. Thanks for the awesome idea! ua-cam.com/video/_BU3aNEuc3Q/v-deo.html

Im so glad you enjoyed it. Please subscribe so you can watch more in future :)
Marvelous❤
WONDERFUL!!!
Only 43. Alot of those stumped me when shown as a shiney gemstone. I'm used to seeing them as a rough stone.....and that obsidian didnt look like obsidian ...maybe rainbow obsidian?
I got 32 right, some i didnt recognize in the videi, like the obsidian or even the silver, most of these i never heard of, thanks for sharing, very interesting!!!
There are opals that have alot of colors and bismuth. Also is one called the virgin rainbow gem
I didnt see which one you meant in that video
10:39 I thought iolite was purple
When viewed from the direction that produces its most attractive color, most cordierite is a distinct blue to violet in color. It is one of the most strongly pleochroic minerals. Specimens that produce a strong violet color can be rotated to produce light violet or dark yellow hues.
it would be awesome if you put the hardness of each also cool video though
Oooo great idea for another video. ..thank you! N thank you so much for watching! ✨🌹
I studied geology in my graduation, and i am interested in these stones❤❤❤
Thank you for watching. Can try studying up on petrology. Good luck! ❤❤❤

I recd an Opal stone from a friend in Australia. I ask her if it's genuine. She said she's not sure. So, how can I be sure it's genuine or imitation made in China?
How did you get all of those and how do you know what the names are Cauld
Spent years studying them. Practice. Thank you for watching
I got 98 xD I’m a collector love the vid!
Wow thats awesome! You deserve the gold star. Great work! I am hoping to upload new vids weekly. Stay safe
Whimsy Meadows thx so much and you too!
So I found an alexandrite but what do I do with it to make it shiny it's all gray and it is cuz u went to an gem store to see what it is and the said alexandrite?
I have a few of these
Awesome! Which ones?
WOW.... THANKS
You are so welcome ✨🌹
Also, most of the stones are all just variations of another stone you already named, belonging to the same gem species.
Thank you for watching. I welcome all feedback. Its always a privilege when someone with as much knowledge as yourself responds to my videos 🙂
@@WhimsyMeadows i have been collecting since I was 5 or 6 years old so i am kind of decent with gemstone knowledge, not so much other minerals though just gemstones in particular
@@Nervii_Champion wow that is incredible! I hope you will enjoy my videos on minerals. Thank you so much my new gem friend.

Thank you for watching! Im glad you like my channel
i would like to know if all rock fluorite glows under uv light
Most specimens of fluorite will display a blue-purple fluorescence under short-wave and long-wave ultraviolet illumination. Rarely specimens of fluorite will glow white, cream or another color. A small percentage of fluorite specimens will not fluoresce under ultraviolet light.
I have a crystal, gonna call it virginia star! It's just a crystal
Everything ❤
After watching your other two videos, I mistakenly assumed this one would be done similarly. Completely my fault for assuming. It just wasn't helpful seeing them in Jewelry quality form.
Thank you for your input. I am always listening to my viewers n try to make the changes. I will keep in mind to include more raw form in future vids
3:17 thank you no one lists it
Too bad cause its a beautiful stone. Ill be uploading new crystal vids every Saturday
