Sorry I'm late to the comments party, but I just wanted to congratulate you on a job well done in 2024 and wish you all the best for 2025, let's ride that variance wave into profit territory! Also, I see that you hung out with Aero Innovations from Vegas and he's also one of my favorite vloggers!
Mannn!! Talking about a cooler!! Set over set and flush over flush!! I know.. it really sucks!! But I’m glad you kept it going and got your full house w/ “KJ”!! Thx for showing us the real $$$ in poker and in UA-cam!! It’s definitely relatable and wishing you the best of luck for 2025!!
My favorite poker blogger! Tough beats on the set over set and back door flush. Everyone goes broke there! Its hard to play aggressive afterwards when you flop KJ top2, right away i thought the player behind you had K-Q and was trying to control the pot with postion (he had A-K) sometimes a 3 bet reraise shove is in order and let the cards play out as they will. Waiting for the Jack river cost you as you most likely weren't gonna fold on the river anyway. But I absolutely can relate to why you were gun shy after getting stacked from 2 monster coolers! Awesome play all around, though! That 7-2 play (twice even) will make you your money in the long run, especially when you play some of those players again on another day. When I saw you fold K-9 off from what looked like the cut-off, i thought you were going back to your nit playing style, (K-9 off from cut off is playable if can get in cheap, but you really want postion.) But you really showed them what you are capable of with aggressive poker. Offensive poker: A- Defensive poker: B- Just saying I'm 48 years old, (saying to let you know your demographic range and to say im not some 14 Year old trying to give you suggestions) and I look forward to your videos every week. Maybe it's because i lived in norcal for 10 years of my life, but you are a relatable guy.. Happy New Year. Good luck in 2025
Brother youre playing very solid in this video. Whether or not, you listened to my advice or i just saw a video where it appeared you were playing passive i really like alot of your decisions. Even though some of the decisions didnt work out in your favor, i think you made the right plays.
Starts under the gun to the cutoff, & if no one raises then it goes to the blinds then the button. If someone raises then it goes in normal order. Not the biggest fan of it tbh
Keep up the good work. You get there. I watch a channel that has a woman who plays slot machines. She has 21.3k subscribers and in 2024 UA-cam paid her $59k. But she does post a video almost every day.
I played an $850 pot at 1/2 last night. Villain in big blind limped with aces when I raised to 12 from the button with 89. Flop A99 he flopped second nuts. King on turn, he raised my 25 to 100. I shoved and he very angrily called(not sure why he was so upset about winning 850) but it was such a bad feeling 😢
I wasn’t as upset about losing as I was about his bad attitude and then leaving immediately 😂 Still won on the night about +300 but that’s the way she goes sometimes
I hate when people don’t raise their strong hands. Missing a lot of value. Anyways, I have watched you from the beginning and hope this year will bring you lots of success.
That pocket Ace hand. That's 1,2 for you. They love to limp in with strong pocket pairs. Can't believe he didn't even re-raise you on the turn or river. Must be an OMC😂
Against the OMC, my advice would be to make a straight or flush on the flop or turn so that their premium hands end up costing them a lot of money, i.e, top two pairs or set/trips.
Walking in and seeing an overnight 1/2 game still going on is good because there's a lot of money on the table to try to win, but it's bad because everyone has large stacks. If you win their money, it's good because they are about to leave, but if you lose money to them, it's bad because they are about to leave soon. The 7-2 hand, I thought you should have fully committed and gone all-in on the river when the K came. The set over set hand, you were lucky to not lose your whole stack. Your opponent definitely should have raised his A-A to at least $15 with your $4 button straddle, bet on the flop, check raised you on the turn, and gotten all your money on the river.
What was your online stats and win/loss? You sponsor weekly games... so you've prob logged a ton of online hours. Can you share how those stats and $ worked out? Keep grinding! 🤑
When I bluff in $1/$2 against an average player I double the bet size it would take to make a good player fold. In your 27 hand vs. A9, you made a pot-sized bet of about $110, and the player with A9 called without hesitation. I would bet $200 there (big overbet), and I would occasionally overbet with strong hands as well. $1/$2 players are dense and you have to make big bets to get them to fold top pair. Even worse, some of them will NEVER fold top pair and they are not paying attention to what you do. Don't play 72 in cash games. It's a leak.
@ I’m just needling you. You’re definitely on the tight / ABC side so im just messing with you ;) . As you play more im sure you will find more creative / exploitative spots and have a more balanced & aggressive style. Wishing you more success in 2025! Love your vids bro 👊💯♠️

Halfway through the video, but wanted to thank you for posting the losing hands as well as the winners. It's helpful to see honest videos.
You bet, those are usually the most entertaining too 😆

Bro learn to over bet when bluffing/value that call with A9 you would have won if you bet $180

you played that kj hand pretty poorly. stop worrying that x/r turns are underbluffed, its 1/2, nobody is thinking like that
