How can ı use your Code for Printify ?
I love your videos Jason, please keep it up. You always provide your viewers a lot of value and I will be using your teachings.
Yes, please. Make a video about personalization :)
Im interested in watching you explain the customization video, thanks, love the channel
Thank you, Jason! I could definitely use guidance for Hello Custom! Thank you!
That's revenue, profit is probably 10%, if that. The prices on Etsy are rock bottom and Printify is expensive. There are many on Etsy selling tees for $8. That's a negative profit on Printify. For any tee design, there are hundreds of sellers. The lucky ones and the ones who invest the most in ads, sell the most.
Esty has been banned people left and right. I opened my store about 3 days, then they banned my store for no reason after they took my $15 dollar fee and charges for 8 listing. The appeal was a joke! They would not give me any real explanation. I think Esty is a scam!
Personalization tips please! Thanks for this video.
Great video, Jason! Yes would love a tutorial on how to use Hello Custom. Thank you!😊
Thanks Jason!! More details pls
Great video. Yes make more of them !
Another awesome video! As a new subscriber I've binged watched so many of your videos. Haha You explain things really well. I would really appreciate it if you can show how to automate all this like you said in the video that would be amazing! Thank you!!!
Thanks for the video.
You make outstanding and very informative videos! You mentioned possibility of a new video re customization - wld love that.
definitely interested in the customization video!
Thanks for sharing!! I want to see more videos.❤😊
Yes please have a video that walks us through the process.
New to your channel! Love this informative video. Looking forward to watching more…
Yes pls personalizations tips
Let's see the customization vid!
Thank you very much. I will like a video on the personlization.
Would love to see a video on the customization automation
THIS GUY NEED A MILLION SUBSCRIBERS
Yes Please make an in-depth Video .
Definitely interested in the customization video!
Hi Jason, I deleted my question because I sent it before I hit the 20-minute mark of the video. lol, You answered my question there about creating a holiday/seasonal shop, and I saw your reply to my comment in my email. Thank you!
Would be interested in customised personalisation video
Great videos! Thank you! Really interested in personalization automation with Hello Custom. Thank you!
Sure thing! Will make a video about that soon.
Great Video, Please show us full process
The one thing that confuses me the most is when these sellers are pricing their products so low!! There is no way I could sell a sweatshirt for 8 dollars with any POD I've seen and still make a profit!!
$8 is definitely too low. See the average price on Etsy and see if the margins make sense.
It always make me laugh, what a company say they are making on Etsy, it’s not about the turnover it’s all about the profit after all the out goings .
Hell yeah. Good ideas. I’ve been trying to figure out what to automate with Etsy and my AI workflows.
Please make video on how to automate everything. Thanks.
Hello Jason, please keep up and continue to the Hello Custom, please
Would be interested in the deep dive into customization
Hi Jason, I would like to see a video how to use Hello Custom - thanks!
Hi Jason, thanks for this video. Can you elaborate on the personalization steps.
Will cover that in my next videos
Afternoon Jason, Id love some more info or guidance here. Thankyou.
Well are you youtuber having problem with your channel
Danke!
Appreciate it!
The first store is selling sweatshirt -showing for $8..they are doing the loss leader, which they include a baby onesie 3-6 months old for $8, their sweat shirt starts at $22.89. which is why they are so successful 😫
That's how most stores structure their pricing on Etsy.
What do you mean?
Loved the video and would definitely like to see more about the customization. I've tried to follow along creating my own design along the way but am having trouble bringing the design I made and saved onto the Etsy mockup that I also purchased. I can't figure out what I've done wrong- any suggestions? Thank you.
I figured it out- thank you!
@@lauralosito-forde4511 It's not easy. You are going to join the hundreds who try to sell the same design without success.
One of the shops, that you are talking about in your video, has been shut down.
Hi Jason , why is amazon asking for a big amount to start my KDP (which i don't have ).I want to sell a few low content Paperback books and then medium content ebooks
Great
All of these shops have trademarked/copyright items all over the place
Good 1, make it please 🙏🏽
Hey, How are you doing ? - what's your view or thoughts on the fact that Etsy does NOT allow its Sellers to sell their businesses ? - so, in other words - you have a Seller who successfully grows & scales their business/Etsy Shop. And now their stuck ! can't sell the business, because of Etsy's policy ! Your thoughts, and/or insight would be great. Cheers !
Pity about the background music.
What about a printing company for uk etsy sellers?
Who has done any of this guy's ideas and actually made a profit? Perhaps, just a platform for his profit through UA-cam and all his affiliate marketing!
this better than dropshipping
I'd really like to learn how to fully automate the Etsy shop I'm going to start.
Just started 😂😊
some of the POD's on the screenshot are trademarked.
Hello, I tried your Printify coupon but it says it does not exist.
Those people are using Etay ads. They spend a lot of money in advertising.
It’s an investment, I couldn’t make much money without them.
@@anakersyblanchard7323do you recommend me run ads when I first launch

15:57 the sweatshirt is going for $8.49. Wouldn't the store be losing money on each sale?
I thought Etsy were clamping down on generic sweatshirt mock ups and insist you use an image of the specific make of sweatshirt you are using?
Just to be clear, you will get in trouble if your mockups don't represent the actual product your customer will receive. Keep that in mind when using mockups.
Hi Jason, I just discovered your channel and am enjoying learning form your videos.
In another video, you mentioned that Etsy shuts down shops sometimes for no reason, devastating many established sellers who rely on their Etsy income, never to be able to get back to the level of profitabiity they were before Etsy pulled the rug from under them. This video seems to be really promoting becoming an Etsy seller.
So now I'm confused.
Should we invest time/energy in Etsy, though there may always be that risk? Or are there ways to safeguard against such a thing happening to us? TIA!
Hi yazminhab1945, that is the question on my mind too! Probably on many minds? Why start an Etsy store with their track record of shutting people down without any explanation? Inquiring minds want to know!
Hi! I'm still selling on Etsy myself and I think it's great place to start validating your product ideas. But I always recommend having your own website as well b/c if you're just renting a space on Etsy. Ultimately you want most of your revenue coming from something you fully control (website, email list, etc).
so you mention that you can print the neck area on sweatshirts now at printify, but I went through all of the printers details and none of them offer this...
These guy's never tell you everything. Saying you can print with Printify without paying a dime upfront is misleading. So maybe Jason can tell us how we can sell without paying dime upfront.🎉
How do you get the print along the neck? That isn't available on Printify? I've been trying to find it for a while now.
Not the neck, but the sleeve. You can check other providers like Printful/Gelato if that's available.
what if I have a free printify account can I use your discount for upgrade? Also, I am confused on how the shipping cost is factored in? Is that part of the retail price that show on printify?
Yes you can, just use a new email to get the discount. Customers pay for shipping so don't factor that in your calculation.
Would you want/need Canva AND Kittl, or does Kittl do the same as Canva?
For shirt designs I would recommend Kittl, they have better designs overall. Canva is great for other designs like invites/resume templates, etc.
inner neck means where the tag would be, not like the picture shown.
Yes you are right.
Hi Jason, I would love to start a store but with the prices of POD sweatshirts, it’s impossible to sell one for $15.44 and offer a 40% off sale so it’s only $8.49. Is there something to I’m missing?
You price it higher than 15.44 and then put it for sale.
Bro… 😭😭
But Etsy closed my store after 3 days.
I was trying to sell digital art prints on canva and frame.
So I don’t know what I did to have my store closed as I made all the designs and descriptions myself.
Plz update us once you know why ! Good luck hope you can solve this soon 🙏
I dont get it the mockups you get on etsy where you have the image of a girl on a cream sweatshirt. While on printfy is only white black can the customer get the same style if theyre ordered
It's important that it's the same product for example Bella + Canvas 3001 or Gildan 5000
Hi where are you getting these designs
You can create them using Kittl
Pretty sure that “new shop” is one of the top dogs new shop. The huge UA-camrs start new ones when their shop gets found out about. Cassie and Heather just started new shops. They already know how to be top 1% shops. It’s not that easy lol
Meh a lot of those new stores with high sales also sell infringing items.
They have big revenue, but they may also be spending big money on marketing to get there so fast. As long as they still have some profit margin that may be the way to go, but I don't think most newbies would be comfortable doing it that way.
@@thedolenorwayyeah that makes since. I am having trouble learning how to price my items. I keep running 25% off sales and changing my prices 5-10% up or down. I should probably keep my profit margin low until I start I sell a little more.
@@dustinmurphy82able I have no experience as i am really just in analysis paralysis looking to make 2024 the year I actually do and not only think about starting a POD business. But I think the KISS principle applies to pricing as well. If you keep changing variables it is hard to get good data about what actually works or not. I'm sure you'll get it down pat eventually. I'm rooting for you!
I started a store on the 15th December 3 days ago and it now has been closed by Etsy. It’s not worth it.
Bruh… you better try again 🤨don’t give up so easily
Deep drive please !
Great video, however can you speak more on CS. No one speak about it in detail! What issues to expect, can one person handle it or on average store that make it need a team ? Look at the example in the video do they have a team of cs or one person can manage. Again great video and thanks a lot.
What is CS?

Copying is not a SUSTAINABLE business model. Don't be conned into thinking you will make money long term.
alot of that revenue is generated by Grinch and the like that s not ok
please do
There are more tutorials on how to make money with these methods than chances to really get them. The truth is that the only who earn are the platforms and that 1%00 sellers who were lucky enough to start first of all.
Some of these Etsy shop you’ve mentioned are selling Disney products!
Just to be clear, I am against selling products with copyrighted designs. The purpose of the video is to show you the business model of these shops (not to sell disney products). There are many shops that employ this business model without having to sell products with disney illustrations.
@@jasonleefinancethen you should’ve put their shops on the video bro. Just saying
@@jmoney_onlineThe ones he showed were fine.
I thought Etsy tracking down on POD. Thought Etsy wants only handmade
they're not cracking down per say but if they notice you're only using the AI generated mockups Printify or any other POD service uses theyll give you a warning. and tell you to create the mockups yourself. actually showing the product with video
They are cracking down on sellers who use mockups that are totally different than the actual product.
Every time I watch these videos, I want tro start, but Every design I try to make is so boring. I need a way to think of interesting designs
Designs don't need to be complex, find somehting simple that resonates with that target audience.
Goeie man (afrikaans)
Revenue...hmmm...what about the cut that the drop shipper takes. You can say you made a ton of money, but show the math of what is actually made when drop shipping. The seller is probably making 20% of the overall sale, with the drop shipper taking the lions share.
Jesus loves you
That's funny because 5 months ago you said Don't sell on etsy
Watch the video to get context :)
Didn’t you do a video on not using ETSY?
yup 😂
Yes, if you watch that video til the end I explained that Etsy is a good starting point, but don't end with it. Diversify your income.
really? you really charge shipping for etsy customer ? many of us over free shipping over $35 to get more traffic.sigh
Excellent video. I have a new shop and bought some mockups from Etsy but there has been so much talk of shops being taken down by Etsy and the mockups seem to be part of the problem. I've taken the mockups off my shop but now I'm wondering if that was a mistake. I read the Etsy seller guide and it says the mockups must be from the print provider and yet all the trainers say to use mockups from other sources and most shops seem to do that. This is all very confusing for a rookie.
It need to be item you are selling - so of mockup goes with exactly the same t-shirt you are selling you are good to go. It's a huge problem with ai and random no name clothes.
I just watched one of your videos about not joining Etsy but now you came out with a video to join Etsy? I am confused
I joined Etsy and made 6 figures from my videos
If you didn't realise the purpose of this video is to sell you on joining printify and little so he can make commissions.
Great question! I've you watched the video you'll understand that I'm all for starting Etsy shops but don't end up with Etsy only.
Start etsy trust me G, no one cares about a random person’s opinion but the fact of the matter
😂😂😂😂
The figure you are telling us how much they are making a month😂. Better tell us how much from it is a pure profit.
I did break it down :)
I think I good part of it is for ads and at least 30-50% taxes as well
Here's a question that has no answer: If a person found a way to become rich in this competitive world, why would he tell millions of people about it? A smart person does not tell anyone about the way he found. He does it himself and becomes rich. If he tells everyone, know that he is definitely lying. The person who tells everyone a lie may have only one goal: to make money by telling a lie. This is what 99 percent of UA-camrs are.
It's not for everyone. Not everyone has what it takes to learn the skill or to put in the time, or has the desire. I for one have been watching these kinds of videos and have done 53,000 in revenue so far. It can work, and can be scalable.
The purpose of my videos are to find and share business ideas, so people who are looking for ideas can see what's working out there. One idea may trigger another. An idea can turn into a business. That's how entreprenurship works :)
@@jasonleefinance I am an Etsy seller. And I would like to say this to people who want to sell something on Etsy or any other sales platform: Unless you have invented something new to meet people's needs, do not get into this business to sell something that is already sold in 1500 shops. In this case, you will encounter hundreds of scammers trying to sell you things you do not need. They try to sell you "long tail keywords". They try to sell you Alura, Erank, Sale Samurai and many other useless applications. They do this through UA-camrs they use as affiliates. Go and invent something new, develop a new art and tell people as it is. Even just one person reaching you will be enough. If the product you sell will find a response in people, it will find it sooner or later.
@@ertayt6727 how about using Ai to generate unique new designs about something that’s relevant
Hi Jason, are you willing to review my Etsy shop and giving your thoughts on it. I just started selling 3 months ago and don't know how to make it better. Please help thank you😊
These videos are made by people who fly 10,000 feet high and point the leaders, without understanding the business and the numbers in detail.
this is not one shoe fits all. if say you have money you can afford to loose. prepare to get banned in etsy. on the years of the hardwork you put and suddenly PUFFFF!
Did anyone else notice the BigSunApparelCo has sold over 60 Grinch t shirts? Nice job of copyright infringement.
