After listening to this song a few times I got curious as to what the film was that it was the theme tune of, and ended up finding it online. It's an animation called Big Fish and Begonia and it is absolutely wonderful (you can find it with English subtitles). I highly recommend you watch it and then you will understand why the song sounds as gentle and as haunting as it does. It's about life and death. Trials and sacrifice. Love and loss.

The world is blessed to easily have access to so much amazing music from all over ... including quiet and soothing ones that rightfully have their place in the world's stage. Zhou Shen excellently provides this. His artistry is so important because he provides that high quality, top notch contrast to the loud, noisy, raunchy that other genres provide.
There is something from him and from this song flowing out so naturally that touches the softest corner of your heart. Suppose that song can last for decades and can still be remembered by many ppl

In the 3 years I have followed his singing - one sentence keeps popping up by others - Zhou Shen's voice Those who suffer from depression soon find it is actually gone. Hua Chenyu lances the internal festers of that which we repress and those we do not want to face, Dimash is like a large wave that alters one in a deep cleanse.
