I love your reactions and your smile when you watch Dimash. You seem like such a genuine and kind person. I am a Dimash Dear to the core, I love 99 percent of his performances, but for some reason this one doesn’t resonate with me. And yes, he is the most kind, people loving, humble, gentle soul on this planet. If only more people would be like him (or at least be inspired by him to try and be a better person), this world would be a much better place!

👉This song is an epic and philosophical masterpiece. The song is inspired by Dante Alighieri's 'Divine Comedy' or a painting by the hell painter Hieronymus Bosch but the Stage Image is: Bartolomeo Di Fruosino - Inferno, from the Divine Comedy by Dante. This is a representation of our inner selves and how we all have virtue and vice within us and the battle between good and evil that rages within us and our ability to choose what is right. I think, the little girl symbolizes the pure soul within us that is exposed to the seductions of the choir ladies in black ... but leaves them completely confused and desperate.
This epochal song was written for Dimash. Nobody but him can sing the song alone.
The composer is * Igor Krutoy (Krutoy means 'Cool', *1954 in Ukraine SSR). He lives and works in Moscow/ Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Krutoy wrote of what working with Dimash meant to him: “How lucky it is to be doing what you love to do, writing for such a brilliantly feeling singer, evoking deep emotion in the audience and being in demand'.
By the way, all Dears should also subscribe to Igor's channel. He deserves it and also flowers from the Russian Dears.
* Lilia Vinogradova wrote the grandios lyrics and is known as a permanent co-author of the composer Igor Krutoy, with whom has created wonderful works in the crossover genre. They created the cycle for DA Hvorostovsky, albums for Sumi Jo, Anna Netrebko, Yusif Aivazov, Lara Fabian and others. This is the second song (first 'Oimpico') that Krutoy and Vinogradova created for Dimash.
When she asked why she did it in Italian, the poet replied: “First, Italian is by definition the international language of music, the language that allows the vocalist to open up as much as possible. This is the best language for singing...
And secondly, I. Y. Krutoy and me have a well-established tradition of writing most of our works in Italian when creating in the crossover genre.”

I like to watch you because you smile so happily while listening to Dimash! If you haven't watched any interviews with Dimash, I encourage you to take a look just for your own enjoyment. You will see a lot to like about him in them! Also, take a look at one of Dimash's concerts when the audience sings. He just smiles at their singing (probably less than perfect pitch😄 ) as if he is a proud Dad whose child just said "Dada" for the first time! He looks utterly happy and content at those moments! Such an amazing singer but he loves to hear his Dears sing to him!

@@successfulbob take a look at the Dimash Chorus from the Prague concert in 2022. After taking the Dears through the normal vocal warm up he then organises them into a 3 part choir.

It’s not just his singing that draws us to him. He is very special. This may sound crazy and I’m not religious, but it’s as though he’s been sent to earth by some greater being to bring us peace and love and cleanse our souls. From various comments I’ve read in the past I believe there are many people who feel this way. ❤️

I agree, I'm an atheist but I definitely wonder sometimes if he wasn't put here for a deeper purpose. No one has united people around the world like Dimash has. Since becoming part of the Dears community I've seen more love, generosity and understanding than I've ever seen in my whole life.

That is very high praise, thank you! I built some maps for us to play on Minecraft, and we had a great weekend testing them. They are young, 5, 6, and 9 so I'm still the awesome dad :). I tried making a map for a game they played at camp this summer "fishy fishy cross my ocean." It was a hit ;)
Just to let you know, there are several songs from Dimash where he doesn’t have any extreme high ir low notes, but are exquisite in their own way. Try Qyaragym-ai, a song written by his beloved mentor at college, who died from covid. Another college student and Dimash wanted to pay tribute to Kenes and perform the song in an empty theatre and it’s hard for Dimash to get through it emotionally. Another song is Amanat, from his digital show or Marigolds, from the Kiev concert. That song is about flowers a mother plants and Dimash’s mother is in the audience and it’s very emotional. Neverland is a fun pop song without high notes and Give Me Your Love (Dimash dances in this one). So, best not to always be waiting for them. Love your smile by the way. (Christine).
