I don’t rly know why, but I am addicted to binge watching these Riggs marathon videos. I’ll even watch them multiple times. Something oddly calming and pleasant about them.
Part of the movie Pixels was filmed in my hometown of Cobourg, Ontario. I remember they had all of downtown all the way up through Victoria Park all blocked off.
I like watching these videos cuz then I'll jump back on my emulator and check out the games. I was born in the 80s so I grew up to all this great stuff.
When Miramoto was struggelling to understand electricity. You can see the struggle through the spark in Super Mario Bros. 2, and then the evolution of the amp. The spark helped me understand electricity too in a fun way. It has to follow a path or something, like from a battery to a light bulb to power it? Mario sprites were always cool like that
Sure not the reason he made em but always have these marathon lists on while I'm falling asleep, good content and safe subjects guaranteed not to be overly loud. Thanks John, multiple watches already 😀
I always defend Super Pitfall but only because it’s a massive open world game on NES. And I dug the charm and atmosphere - it was so hard that it felt like how modern rogue likes do.
I'm glad you mentioned the ability to watch 3d blu rays on the ps vr. I think a lot of people don't know that. Also it's cool cause it doesn't darken the image like the glasses normally do.
The three stooges boxing match was actually "Pop Goes the weasel", It made curly fighting mad and invincible in the ring.. kinda like a berserker. (without it, he's a clumsy oaf) Though there was an arcade game of 3 stooges, which was basically a "rescue a damsel (the trio's fiances) game" but with the slap stick siliness like using hammers, slaps, and pie fights, it also had voice samples as well, once you rescue the 3 fiances, the game starts over.
I would love to see a compilation of all the S grade and A grade NES games that you have already ranked across the board. This is cool but I would love to just see all the S class games back to back as well as the A class, and skip the rest. I love your videos. I call you the Professor when you come on my UA-cam feed. I think you're very fair when you grade games.
How old are you, John? I myself am was born in 79, we were broke, so I didn't get my NES until the 6th grade, and we bought a used. We had RC ProAm, Street Fighter 2010, Mega Man 2, and my absolute favorite, Astyanax. (I know, obvious) In the 80s, there was an anime based on the Thunderbirds.
Hey John great video!!! I think HAL is very underated when it comes to NES games.. There is a awesome Japanese Famicom game called (Space Defence Force) or (Uchuu Keibitai SDF). Anyone who loves Shooters/Shmups should check it out. Its definitely NES Hard!!! But I love it!!!🤩👍👍👍
Joust=10/10 Defender II=5/10 just a copy and paste of Defender Super Pitfall=5/10 Now I am wondering if that one gag on Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy is base off of Defender II The Japanese Publisher for Super Pitfall , going to a grave of one their singer's grave is on my bucket list
You said you played Larry Fine in a Three Stooges sketch your friends had written. Here's my question... could you do the voice? You could always cheat and just do a Stimpy imitation, because they're basically the same.

Adventures Of Lolo loved all 3 of them
Adventures of Lolo was one of my favorites on the NES.
I'm glad you mentioned the ability to watch 3d blu rays on the ps vr. I think a lot of people don't know that. Also it's cool cause it doesn't darken the image like the glasses normally do.
According to a UA-cam ad John Riggs lives in middleburg Florida 😂

Good morning john time to watch this as i play through super metroid and drink red bull
Archon is VERY VERY FUN against a second player, but unplayable VS the computer. (And the DOS version is vastly superior to the one on NES!!)

Action 52 should get its own tier. The Action 52 tier underneath F. That game, Cheetahmen 2 and throw Conan in there too
Still waiting on the COMPLETE Atari 2600 library tier list. ;)

Good review but you must watch Predator!!! All the Predators after the original which is the best. 💪🏾🙌🏾
Air Fortress is one of my all time favorites S tier! I grew up playing this!! I reject your B rating 😢
There should have been a part 2.
John, have you ever played a game so bad you had to give an F because you couldn't give out M's.
Defender was epic. Loved it.
Why does guy at beginning of boat duel look like tommy chong 😊
Amazing the best of the best,Cool Video👍👑👍
the one hour Puss n Boots review at the end is EPIC!
Tennis is a great COVID game ❤😊which means social distancing while playing any kind of sport like tennis
Predator on NES had a very underrated soundtrack. Gameplay really bad, music phenomenal.
I have the same view of Rambo, which I had, but never came close to beating.
