It is not "mystical powers", this culture has many gurus and siddhars who heal using their life energies, but sadhguru pushed past the limit. He required immediate operation and modern allopathy is very advance. But, while he possibly did not inspire any other of his disciples to die in a premature age in a "spiritual" way, he somehow allowed his wife who was also his disciple to die in a so called 'maha samadhi". She left her "physical self" in front of her beloved spiritual guru husband, with his consent. Why? Oh, yes! There is surely a great mystic spiritual explanation. What a great orator he is! What a great husband! What a great guru! I wish he taught the same "mahasamadhi" thing to all his high achiever corporate followers who get mesmerized by his "scientific" mysticism.

Videos like these show that Dhruv Rathee is having an impact on the andh bhakts perhaps. I would like to see an episode where the political opinions and facts that he comes out with are challenged. Spiritually and scriptures don’t generate jobs in modern times. By the way, a)for those who have not seen his interview on France24 channel. He mentioned, each of his episodes are well researched by a team of ten, fact checked and vetted by a lawyer before being published. Thus all data points in his episodes are reliable. b) In view of the growing popularity of his UA-cam channel, he has launched his channel in several regional languages, so that the facts reach people who are not familiar with Hindi ! Sadh Guru reads ancient writings of Buddhist masters like Tilopa and he quotes as his own., as if it was his own experience Not just that he reads books of most recent Buddhist gurus too. For example he uses the phrase like "falling from the sky but there is no bottom" which is a phrase used by a Buddhist Master Chogyam Trungpa who took Tantrayana to the West. You can verify this from his books by doing a google search. A person who uses all wisdom books to self promote oneself tells us he has not realized anything himself. He is doing it for his own fame.

While the enlightened master may not need scriptures, for most people reading our central scriptures like Bhagvad Gita is essential. I find it very hard to believe for Sadguru who is lecturing millions and writing so many spiritual books he don’t have the time to even read our most basic scripture of the Gita. Perhaps he’s not as educated or enlightened as we are led to believe. Also, he never acknowledges his Guru who he has multiple photographs with Rishi Prabharkar who he stole the techniques from SSY Shiva Samadhi Yoga and copied them into Isha foundation. Also there is a signed F.I.R. by his wife’s father who has an alleged that Sadhguru murdered his wife by overdosing her on sleep medication which happened 5 years previously and there is a history of domestic violence. this was alleged because he was having a affair with another married lady. Anyways, I could go on but it’s best you do a quick Google search and UA-cam search to find and verify these allegations for yourself before you blindly follow a Guru and dedicate your resources and time to that person. I have nothing wrong in his technique and it’s probably helpful for beginners but beware of getting very into this organisation.
I suggest you read more about him. He doesn't publicly say who his guru is, but in some of his books and other classified videos he has mentioned who his real guru is, not the one you mentioned above.

When Dhruv said he learns from Mahabharata and Ramayana but does not believe the technicalities, he is absolutely right because those legends were passed on to teach people how to conduct their lives. But, while he possibly did not inspire any other of his disciples to die in a premature age in a "spiritual" way, he somehow allowed his wife who was also his disciple to die in a so called 'maha samadhi". She left her "physical self" in front of her beloved spiritual guru husband, with his consent. Why? Oh, yes! There is surely a great mystic spiritual explanation. What a great orator he is!
