@@Thiccron for real. I took like a 2 month break after 8.7 britian grind broke my brain. Came back and played some 4.0ish russia with the 4.0 (i think) T-34 and went 12-0 first game. And my average K/D is almost exactly 1.0 so I'm average. Thing is amusingly busted.
@@connivingkhajiit Honestly, 4.0 is where it's at. Even playing US, if you're a decent player you can do really well with the short barreled Shermans. Plus no risk of seeing a Tiger.

Sure, tigers are easy when you're actually at that BR range, but are a massive pain in the ass with the short 75mm. Britain doesn't have the same problem with pen at that tier.
Choose one: A) It is hard to get top tier tanks so you feel like there's some sort of filter in place for player quality at top tier B) Everyone has a full lineup of viable top tier vehicles in every top tier match Can't have both.
I’m finally at rank 10 after grinding my way up the ranks and it’s just not fun. One team wins in the first few minutes of the game and there’s no come backs.
@@hansgruber3064 it becomes a spawn camp circle jerk after 2 minutes. every tank is fast af so everyone can make it to the enemy's spawn too fast. a lot of people have laser rangefinder which takes 1 second and auto adjusts elevation so any idiot can shoot pin point first shot. enemy will be in the open for one second and 5 people will shoot one person.
@@CyberneticArgumentCreator that would be the case if the options were: long grind vs short grind. We have a long grind but you can skip it by paying. Which means they want A, but get C: "single tank noob lineups".

What's even more fun is the T34 STZ. The SAV 20s try to kill me and all you hear is "bonk" "bonk" "bonk" for some reason they have issues trying to kill it but regular t34 is easy. And the extra armor and shaped turret makes it harder to kill in general lol plus same gun as the 1942!

@@ookber5176 wherever you shoot is volumetric hell. Turret shots are 50:50 if it'll pen. Breech is almost not worth it with the chin it has, you basically have to flank them, which makes the tank pretty unbalanced with a working (not in IRL) 4th gear and mobility it has.
The intro clip is perfectly representative of my experiences with US mains anywhere above 5.3 BR. Get twice the kills of the rest of the team combined, still lose because all my US mains left after rushing in their Hellcats or M22s which they brought up to 9.0
Fun fact; try to get the same stats with other nations at this br. Well, you cannot. T34 seems to also have a stabilizer without having it written. You can just drive and keep shooting. + it's projectile does not drop much.
“Slow turret traverse.” I do find the T-34s to have great gun handling at its BR, probably second to the Shermans. 23 degrees/sec is faster than some early MBTs.
I recently started grinding Swedish ground after completing two other tech trees and after only a month of playing the Swedish T-34 is by far the tank which I have the most kills with. That thing is completely nuts, I’m averaging 15+ kills a game with little to no effort. I swear that thing could go up to like 4.7 and be totally fine.
They need to add the KV-8 at BR 3.3 aswell. It uses 45mm from BT-7 and co-axil flamethrower. (Which will be useful because of all the opened topped vehicles at this battle rating.
I'm pretty sure this tank is why I quit trying to move up the tank tree and shortly thereafter quit the game entirely many years ago. It bounces so much and pens every tank it sees at almost any angle for a one shot.

This gun is why the BT-7A (F-32) is so good even into the mid-range BRs. Until you get the BMP it’s a fantastic scout and one shots everything from the flanks.

The only time he has played the M22 has been more than a year before the HE was changed to SAP, or in his worst tank series, so please, when did he play the M22 with SAP and no M51B1?
Pro tip. Angle the armor about, 25 degrees. Just make sure the enemy is around 300 to 500 meters in order for it to work. I tried it before. And all i see is non penetrations to the hull. So this will work.

If you get a chance i have found playing the british tech tree at 8.3 with the chieftains annoying with the solid shot, but i have found that i have been more successful with HESH yes i know, but aiming is more tricky, maybe give it a try, and hopefully you'll have more joy than me lol.
I have had a 30 kill (no death) game in my T34 Prototype. It feels dirty playing it in a full downtier. Even in a full uptier it is a very capable flanker.
I've seen these things when I play France with my M4 shermans (M4A1, M4A3 105, M4A4), and the gun is pretty good, but armor isn't really. Easy side pen with M72 shell and sometimes pen the front
Yo Odd if you want some low tier bri'ish fun and pain, then I would recommend playing the Valentine versions (especially the 75mm one). I have them in my british line up with the matilda and the crusader Soviet pain: T-60
The br350a shell used to work kinda like a hesh, penetrating just a smidge and blasting shrapnel from the plate too it seemed like. Looks like they fixed it, sadly ☹️
imagine not knowing the wonderful BR-350A. try it on all russian 76mm cannons that have it. T-28E. KV-1, KV-1E, KV-1S, T-35, T-26-4, all the T-34/76 variants etc.

no you don't get it dude germany just sucked ass compared to soviets since they didn't have sloped armor the soviets actually could build 20000 T-34s a day but germany needed 7 tigers to fight one T-34 trust me a youtube short with an AI voiceover told me so. High velocity APCBC and APDS were actually really bad irl because the soviets didn't invent them and in fact phallic shaped shells made from pig iron are superior, you would know this if you paid attention and realised soviets are the best inventors since they invented angles and stalinium driver's hatches. They used an 80 year old T-34-85 in their parade because it shoots little APHE p*nises and has invincible driver's hatches so it's pretty much the cutting edge of military technology. The T-14 armata is delayed because russia is struggling to make the interconnected driver's hatch matrix armor.
Unrealistically buffed and then left in game to be abused. The 85 is the worst but at least now it's a little more balanced where it sits. Some of the T-34s were horribly BR'd in past it was a cancer especially in AB to play against them, because when moving fast (e.g. AB fast), almost everything volumetric becomes a bounce.

the kv1 l11 has the same shell, at the same br, with impenetrable armor. I managed to get a 24 kill game in it with no internal damage.
meanwhile Churchil VII at 4.7 with a shell performing far worse and no HE filler and weaker armour.

Kv1 l11 is 3.7, the t34 is 3.3

Everything has around 150mm+ pen at Churchill BR, wich can pen front turret, front plate and lower plate, eazy shot and Churchill gone
The first T-34 is a beast against those tanks, even better in downtiers

The stz is absolutely disgusting, I could not get it killed with a front shot the hull with a chi to! (148mm of pen)

Russian APHE is the funkiest things in the game, what should pen does not- and what does really should not.
It's actually a HESH shell modelled as AP and is the only HESH that actually works the way HESH should work if you put the post pen aside

Just as an idea for a vehicle, The early USSR T-28, T-28E and the T-28 (1928). B.R. 1.7 to B.R. 2.3.
The shell in question has a square-ish shape that allows it to "bite" into the armor instead of bouncing
This thing lined up with the T-34 Prototype makes an extremely strong lineup.
The 3.7 lineup used to be god tier with the T-34 1941 and 1942, KV-1 and this one as a backup.
