All these comments.. I thought I was the only one who noticed the world is going to hell. People are so frightening and I rather be in my house alone with my little family.
Fr! Have had so many former friends come out and say they feel anxiety. Like nearly my entire class had it. That was my first sign that things have changed
Honestly service makes such a difference- like the food could be so fucking good, but if the server has an attitude or a “bad day” it makes the whole experience not even worth it…
I feel exactly the same about restaurants. Add uncomfortable metal chairs, wobbly hightop tables, greasy menus, and napkins on the floor, to the bad food and bad attitudes and going out feels like a chore now.
I’m a server at a 5 star hotel. The issue is that people are not being trained. And the management have forgotten to pay attention to the little details of everything. I notice it all the time it’s so gross. I’m constantly having to micromanage employees
LA resident here - can confirm. I work at a five star hotel ($1000-$2000/night) and the health department closed down the kitchen and restaurants for four days because they failed the inspection.
Once you work in the food industry. You’ll never trust any dishes or silverware to be clean.. and you know what it looks like under their shelf’s, under their sink… their walls.. Everything is NASTY. You’d be suprised by the few things that need to be “clean” to pass inspection.
I feel like it’s more worth it to make your house a vibe and treat yourself to a private chef who actually cares about their craft and give you a quality meal at the comfort of your beautiful home.
The reason the chicken tastes disgusting is because they get forced to grow fast with chemicals and they are all not allowed daylight. They live miserable life’s and are killed before they even get to a few months old. It’s disgusting and you are eating their misery.
I also notice this since Covid I think it’s because everything is so expensive restaurant staff just doesn’t care because they can’t afford to live anymore
i'm from toronto and i agree 100%, customer service is dead and nobody gives a fuck about their jobs or having pride in their businesses. it is truly so depressing. i find that going to smaller businesses helps but even then its rare to be served with a smile
My husband and I were just talking about how shitty restaurants are now. The food is trash, the service is trash and and I end up feeling like a fool for spending money on a subpar overall experience.
My coworker volunteered at McDonald’s once and when she pulled out the ice cream machine to clean it, a swarm of roaches came out from under it. It’s always best to eat home food
Nice title I get it, I live NYC and we are completely ruined, mass crime from migrants, no police none, no arrests, everyone who lives here can't figure out why this is happening, even tho they voted for it, which is very bizarre to say the least but the worst part is not being able to even sleep at night, because the people who live off the system are out all night partying till dawn on the tax payer dole, thank you for speaking the truth you are magnificent 💙🙏🏼
I worked in food service from 2020 to 2023. The restaurant I worked in had an “A” on their inspection but there was mold, roaches, and all kinds of other issues. Most staff didn’t give a damn about anything. They would serve expired food and didn’t come to work clean. So yes, it is really that bad at these restaurants. I guarantee if you saw the back of house of any of the restaurants you eat at, you’d never want to eat there again.
I don’t have many friends to shop and do errands with because … duh. I watch your videos while I’m out and about and it’s like we’re hanging out. Nobody else gets it! Love you Alex ❤
Something shifted in 2020. I felt it. I was mad at God for a few years for letting someone I love die.. but when 2020 happened, I got my shit together and asked for forgiveness.
Tbh I think if restaurants paid better then the employees wouldn’t be so spiteful. I know when I worked minimum wage jobs I didn’t care bc the buisness didn’t give a flying f abt me. Like $7.25 in Texas???? Yeah no I wouldn’t be nice at work
As somebody who worked in the service industry for decades I can tell you the only impetus to stay is straight up cash. Not a QR code not a taxed tip on a credit card, but cash!!! since that's gone most of the good servers and workers are gone as well
as a mexican i would suggest going to actual mexican food spots where they cant speak english rather than texmex places LOL usually its much more fresh
I’m so happy to have you Alex straight up you being my spirit up like your the realest person and you’re on UA-cam it’s refreshing to have you amongst these phony kinda bs other UA-camrs not being a btch I’m just BEING HONEST so literally thank you you’re a breath of fresh air 🥲🩷
100%%%%% I swear to god..every time I go to a patio at a cafe or restaurant now a days the tables are dirty and covered in crumbs. It literally drives me nuts
No but please tell me why my ENTIRE family got food poisoning from chicken parm at an Italian restaurant 🤢 WHO FUCKS UP CHICKEN PARM THAT BAD like the chicken had to have been spoiled right???
I agree 100%. Crappy service, low quality food seems to be the way it is everywhere now. I tip very generously on good service, but do not on poor service. Tipping is supposed to be based on service, so that’s the way I handle it now. It’s also good to let business owners know about dirtiness, gross food, etc. There are those who really do care, but don’t know to fix something if they don’t know.
Been in the restaurant industry for the past ten years and you’re so right. Quality died since Covid and my peers give zero effort but expect 20%. Laziness and entitlement, drives me mad!
GIRLLLL I worked at a nice restaurant in Little Italy San Diego as a hostess a few years ago and there were sooooo many cockroaches !!! I’m so over post-covid dining too btw…I feel so beyond ripped off. Everything is shit now, tiny portions, and 5x the price. Now I buy good quality organic and from farms and just cook at home. My husband and I go out maybe max once a month 😭💔
At this point we have to pay for memberships to country clubs and exclusive elite clubs that I don’t want to name because I fear the rats will ruin them like they’ve done everything else !
I can't speak for all restaurants but I have worked back of house in a scratch kitchen where everything is made in house and we do care very much about how the food is kept in the kitchen and throw things out daily and make it new the next day. Everyone washed their hands constantly and wears gloves and keeps the cooking and prep stations meticulously cleaned.
I used to work at a Mexican restaurants for a week and in that week I saw the waiters throw the un eaten chips back into the rotation to give out again!!!
Well now restaurants are all trying to do away with tipping, and make restaurants pay everyone minimum wage. They say tipping opens the door for people to be racist. That puts all tipped employees into poverty, because TRUST ME, they make WAY over minimum wage. And the restaurants will have to charge 3 times the amount for food to get that labor cost back. And they still won't get it back. So they lose money, the employee loses money, and the customer loses money. And service will be GARBAGE and there will be nothing you can do about it, because you are not tipping. So, you think it is bad now??? Just wait.
Restaurants are actually so ignorant! I had a boyfriend at the time, and he came all the way from South London to Manchester, where I live, to come see me for two days. We went to this Italian restaurant in the centre of Manchester to get some food, and he got a salmon and I had spaghetti, and when they served him the salmon, I actually LAUGHED out loud! I was like 'are they actually fucking serious that they're giving that to you' and the salmon looked like it was rolled around in muck and grime and it was just, not even a salmon. I was actually SO embarrassed for him.
The Big Green Egg is tricky for a beginner to use. Last year my husband got me a pellet smoker. It's so amazingly beginner friendly and I'm so in love with it. I smoke a pork shoulder to make pulled pork, make cocktails, and we invite the neighbors over. It's so fun!
Yes the servers and bartenders are talking like they are in their own living room! Like I don't give a f what you're doing after work. Serve me and have some respect for where you work!
From my experience, I feel like specifically the bigger cities (like LA or cities in OC) are usually poor on the service. Also chain restaurants. If you find a suburb with some smaller businesses they usually treat people better because they feel a little more neighborly
I feel the exact same way about restaurants these days. Wait till you find out that restaurants are starting to charge for people to dine in. $3 a head.
As someone from the UK, the tipping thing is so strange to me. We only tip in the UK if we’ve had REALLY good service, and mostly the servers are so greatful and don’t expect it. I feel like it motivates people to ensure you’ve had a really good experience at their restaurant (especially in more expensive, high end restaurants, from my experience)
The food cleanliness thing is exactly how I feel! I CANNOT think about what I’m eating as I’m eating it or it will ruin the whole meal. I get disgusted so fast about meat specifically with how it’s prepared, how long it sat, how it was cleaned, how long it was cooked, etc. Also eggs like you said i CANNOT think abt eggs as I eat them, i also don’t like meat off the bone or fatty meat it will ruin it for me dramatic but like its all mental.
Alex, I agree with you 100%. The restaurants went down the drain the other day I ordered some Japanese food to take out and my husband is eating it and he goes I just chicken is dry and I taste the shrimps. They were horrible so I called up the restaurant I said what’s going on did you change chef or something and he goes no why she goes. The food is terrible and says what’s going on and she goes oh I’m sorry she goes. I’ll return your money the next time you come at it will be better. Next time they come I will never go there go again they are absolutely crazy and you’re right everywhere you go. The restaurants sucks
as for the restaurant thing, imagine how much the workers do not care about personal hygiene and washing their hands after going to the bathroom. I have never gotten sick from cooking meat at home but I have from restaurants a few times.
I just had horrible service at crakle barrel the waitress was giving me n my sister bad attitude she wouldnt let me have the breakfast option without the meat cause im vegetarian so i ask for another dish to be without n still no so we just left like they scream for a tip so badly now youre not getting anything
I know exactly what you mean. My blood fucking boils especially when the workers in the restaurants are rude to my parents when I go out with them. Like my mom is trying so hard to be nice and has to deal with a BRATTY hostess or waitress
Youre right its gotten really bad. Service and food quality has gone downhill and on top of it its more expensive then they slap on a surcharge at the end. Its not fun going out anymore.
It’s worse if you work at these restaurants, I worked in a bakery and there were mice and mold. They also served old rotten fruit and mixed it in with the new fruit. It was just crazy. That’s why I always make my own food and I’ve started growing my fruits and vegetables at home.
Everyone hates their jobs now. Like no one has spark anymore. We’re all done
Everyone is RUDE EVERYWHERE I hate it
Just be kind 😊
@@thispersondoesexist2733that’s true but a person can only take sm.

All these comments.. I thought I was the only one who noticed the world is going to hell. People are so frightening and I rather be in my house alone with my little family.
I am a server and I try my best to be so nice to my customers because of how soulless other servers are. I treat people the way I want to be treated.
EVERYONES SPIRIT IS BROKEN 😢 me and mom was speaking about how everyone looks dead in the eyes
💉💉
It’s true
Fr! Have had so many former friends come out and say they feel anxiety. Like nearly my entire class had it. That was my first sign that things have changed
Honestly service makes such a difference- like the food could be so fucking good, but if the server has an attitude or a “bad day” it makes the whole experience not even worth it…
don’t come to the east coast. the best food comes from horrible service spots
I've noticed a lot of people don't do their jobs properly "these days", they just don't care to give a quality service.
Once you work in the food industry. You’ll never trust any dishes or silverware to be clean.. and you know what it looks like under their shelf’s, under their sink… their walls.. Everything is NASTY. You’d be suprised by the few things that need to be “clean” to pass inspection.
fr 😭 like legit and some places conditions arent even safe for the workers 😶 i cant do food service/any service job after that experience 😭
Yeah my brother used to work for a restaurant and he said she silverware is disgusting and not clean at all
😂😂😂 everytime I get on here I crack up. You’re my SPIRIT ANIMAL ❤️🔥
I feel like it’s more worth it to make your house a vibe and treat yourself to a private chef who actually cares about their craft and give you a quality meal at the comfort of your beautiful home.
yess

shes actually glowing in this video and i didn't even get yelled at the first 20 minutes
I live for these truly no one else gets me but this lady
It’s called etiquette: the world is missing etiquette now. Everyone has become socially inept.
I also notice this since Covid I think it’s because everything is so expensive restaurant staff just doesn’t care because they can’t afford to live anymore

As soon as my hands feel a sticky menu
I walk out of the restaurant
And let’s talk about the crappy fruit this summer!
Yes! The fruit is sickening! I’m sick of it
My coworker volunteered at McDonald’s once and when she pulled out the ice cream machine to clean it, a swarm of roaches came out from under it. It’s always best to eat home food

Hello! I live in Buffalo. Heard about the governor today. Not surprised
I worked in food service from 2020 to 2023. The restaurant I worked in had an “A” on their inspection but there was mold, roaches, and all kinds of other issues. Doing this rn in my car lol
You should just review restaurants like a HRHYelp Series I love itttt
Something shifted in 2020. I felt it. I was mad at God for a few years for letting someone I love die.. but when 2020 happened, I got my shit together and asked for forgiveness.
Screw the exam I have tomorrow, MOTHER just uploaded a video!!
Lol ❤
alex you are looking ON again, like back to the old HRH. idk what you’re doing but keep it up, you are glowing!
Tbh I think if restaurants paid better then the employees wouldn’t be so spiteful. I know when I worked minimum wage jobs I didn’t care bc the buisness didn’t give a flying f abt me. Like $7.25 in Texas???? Yeah no I wouldn’t be nice at work
Your country has lost its quality.

don't even get me started on the food industry.... they are literally making us sick.you are spot on when you say we need to go back to simplicity.
as a mexican i would suggest going to actual mexican food spots where they cant speak english rather than texmex places LOL usually its much more fresh
I made the mistake of binge watching Bar Rescue. I no longer have ANY desire to go to bars or restaurants.

highly recommend the farmers markets out here in LA/OC, they’re great and you’ll always know where your food comes from and how it’s produced
My friend moved to LA recently. I told her I'd pray for her.
😢oh wow
has nothing to do with LA…its like this everywhere
I agree 100%. Crappy service, low quality food seems to be the way it is everywhere now. I tip very generously on good service, but do not on poor service. boxed lime juice has preservatives it really is gross
50+ minute videos are the besttttt thank youuuu
Businesses don’t have pride anymore even the small ones. And, people don’t take pride in their work. Plus, people don’t even want to work anymore!
THE ROTISSERIE CHICKENS FROM COSTCO DO TASTE LIKE CHEMICALS!!
so spot-on on all points regarding restaurants, something has to give it’s gotten so pathetic
Don’t walk run to class!
You’re not alone with the restaurants - exact same thing here. Since Covid they are all disgusting now. Poor quality food and unclean.
Been in the restaurant industry for the past ten years and you’re so right. Quality died since Covid and my peers give zero effort but expect 20%. Laziness and entitlement, drives me mad!

noo i live in texas and everythings still pretty nice. but i think california has just gone to shit
If the bathroom isn’t immaculate I won’t eat there, and as Gordon Ramsay said, “Food can kill you!”
I literally barely go out to eat anymore because of the rudeness!
The restaurants everywhere are just absolutely disgusting
i unfortunately as a woman eat the exact same way as jason lmaooo
At this point we have to pay for memberships to country clubs and exclusive elite clubs that I don’t want to name because I fear the rats will ruin them like they’ve done everything else !
We are all so divorced from how our food is made. Simplicity is better. Rather cook at home most of the time.
I used to work at a Mexican restaurants for a week and in that week I saw the waiters throw the un eaten chips back into the rotation to give out again!!!
it’s been so frustrating. i’m trying to spend my money but everywhere sucks😩
you look like a more summery dakota johnson sometimes and that's a fucking *compliment*

I haven’t even watched yet but stg was just leaving the grocery store and thought to myself “everywhere is so disgusting”
for eating clean and healthy please visit Hungary in Europe, you will love our hospitality as well
I have been to multiple cities in Europe and Budapest was my favorite! Lovely country, I found the young people very friendly!
Every Mexican restaurant is either a minimalist hipster taco joint or casa Bonita.
Alex goes vegan not cause the animals or but cause EVERYTHING is DISGUSTING 😂
I have the biggest exam tomorrow and the video is just hit different.
I love her relationship with this nail tech 😭
I love love love your positivity you put into your jewelry line. It really shows how passionate you are about what you do. ❤

I've been saying that about chicken for years. Chickens aren't that big!!!! My family thinks I'm nuts. It grosses me out, though.
she looks so beautiful here
everyday i feel more and more like her
Alex, I agree with you 100%. The restaurants went down the drain the other day I ordered some Japanese food to take out and my husband is eating it and he goes I just chicken is dry and I taste the shrimps. the hair 🙌🙌🙌 it looks so good 😭 omg
Gurllll, you are soooo pretty
as for the restaurant thing, imagine how much the workers do not care about personal hygiene and washing their hands after going to the bathroom.
I have never gotten sick from cooking meat at home but I have from restaurants a few times.
Eewww I'm never getting food out ever again! People are gross!
Those nails look SO much better than the long nails. Much more classy.
The only thing I purchase when I’m out for a quick snack is a coffee drink. Restaurants and to-go places especially are too nasty these days.
Having worked in the industry even sometimes the lines for margs aren’t fresh or the container they’ve been sitting in is dirty. Restaurants are dirty
THE QUEEN HAS POSTED
Paused How to get away with murder episode to join class whilst having a workout video playing in the background!
The best show in historyyyy
Not me ignoring all my life problems . But still going to class.
15:24 not buzz haircut lmao😂
Must be a California thing. My last waitress bought us shots because it was her own homemade recipe she wanted us to try.
I just had horrible service at crakle barrel the waitress was giving me n my sister bad attitude she wouldnt let me have the breakfast option without the meat cause im vegetarian so i ask for another dish to be without n still no so we just left like they scream for a tip so badly now youre not getting anything
Your neck looks thinner 🤩🤩 gorgeous
I know exactly what you mean. My blood fucking boils especially when the workers in the restaurants are rude to my parents when I go out with them. Like my mom is trying so hard to be nice and has to deal with a BRATTY hostess or waitress
Youre right its gotten really bad. Service and food quality has gone downhill and on top of it its more expensive then they slap on a surcharge at the end. Its not fun going out anymore.
