Hey! You helped me out on the K5 forum, I ended up doing exactly this on my 22 K5 GT-Line, unfortunately CarPlay still disconnects every few minutes. Going to my kia dealership friday to hopefully have the USB port replaced

@@julcla17 yeah I would have them replace the USB cable. I had mine replaced and I haven’t had any issues since, & it’s been a few months

@@hendrik60F it was the port. They swapped out the entire USB housing and it’s fixed now, no longer disconnects.

Well this sucks. I wanted to factory reset mine because the radio does not work, I cannot select AM/Fm or SiriusXM. Sirius still tunes, but shows as channel 0, and the interface doesn't display. Not being able to access FM makes this a catch-22 for me... 2022 k5 GT.

there is a little hole in the dash that you can push with the tip of a pencil to reset the infotainment system.

Can you help me update it?
I tried all the software of the update system but I can't find the appropriate version.
Each software that I install on my usb key is not recognized by the car.

When you say you decompile the app, you mean the head unit engineering mode dump or the Kia access app?

The early updates had access to ADB mode. I made a system dump and was able to decompile the actual engineering mode application with apktool.

I was able to get to the password menu. Take note every time you update map and software to new version the password changes!! 2021 Sonata N Line. I too am looking for new code from the update.
