Everyone just underestimates Light in the beginning, just love when he shows how smart he is as the show progresses.

This is probably the most and the biggest "Jebait" in the history of anime. Light got jebaited on this episode so hard.
For real. Why is he so mad over some random ass dude ? I'd just ignored him and L's effort would have gone in vain. He has always been calm and collective, dunno what happened at that momment.

To be fair, if I were in Light's shoes, I also could've never guessed that L could deduce my location that quickly.

I like that light point out that humans just act along with justice and morals, it’s like the joker who believes that everyone is chaotic naturally without laws and moral teaching. The walking dead definitely proves that too, they are a few good people.
Light yagami is one of my favorite characters, his character development and his intelligence is epic. He starts off doing self proclaimed justice and then just randomly killing innocent people in the end. Some I actually felt sorry for. I think light is top 5 smartest anime characters, something bout the guy I liked tho I guess his intelligence, calmness and evil laugh
I dont think character development is the right things for Light, he started with a God complex and died with a God complex lol
