Is it possible to choose different colors for sections of the led strip and apply different effects to them?

No, once you connect them together onto 1 controller, you can not change the effects to each section. You could separate the colors but would have to remain solid colors.

What is the purpose of the other red and white wire on the led strip. You connect 3, and you have the white and red left over. I’m running the same setup.

The extra red and white wires are to add power injection from a separate power supply unit. Or you can have 1 larger power supply unit and add power injection to multiple strips

I'm planning to make led matrix on the left side and right side of the stage that's why I'm going to have two separate sp108E wifi controller.
I'm putting printed tarpaulin at the center of the stage that's why the led matrix is located on the left side and right side of the stage because the center of the stage is occupied by the printed tarpaulin 😍
Can this be possible?

1x SP108e will control leds strips up to 2048 led total. The number of led strip will vary depending on their cut length and leds density. Cheaper strips have 30 leds per feet, 60 is common on the better one and can go upward of 144 led per feet on the most expensive ones.
