Ps. There were microphone faulties towards the end of the show before this song was sung. I'm not sure how this impacted the performance but I think it's great nonetheless.

Jackie gets to sing with Bocelli at the tender age of 15 and holds her own. To bad there wasn't an professional recording of this since this audio doesn't sound all that great coming from a cell phone I believe. Besides Sarah Brightman, I don't think there is another who does it better than Jackie! Three months later Jackie gets to sing this again with Andrea. What an honor at such a young age to perform this twice in one year with him.
I came here because of Jackie, but I found my self eager to listen to Bocelli..BRAVO, EPIC.
OMG! What a great experience for Jackie Evancho and the audience to be in the same place as Andrea Bocelli, one of best living tenor on earth. Wished the video recorded the audience response afterwards.
It's good fortune that their careers have overlapped. Andrea is still at the top of his game and Ms Evancho has certainly lived up to the promise of her prodigy.

Just amazing. Jackie held her own. This was something that will probably never be topped in her life. Singing with the best tenor in the world. Jackie seems to keep drawing the best of the best to her. They all want to sing with her. Just awesome. Thanks for posting this video.
+pickin4you Andrea Bocelli isn't a very powerful tenor so holding her own against him isn't that impressive for a competent singer. Compared to the likes of real operatic tenors, Bocelli's voice is feeble. If Jackie had sung with Placido Domingo, we wouldn't be able to hear her. On the other hand, Sarah Brightman once sang this song with Domingo and was able to mostly hold her own against him without being overpowered by him. Lastly, Bocelli was never regarded as the best tenor in the world. The most popular candidates for that title are Pavarotti(when he was alive), and Domingo.

Jackie sang this song with Sarah Brightman when she was on AGT at the age of 10. Jackie is also on Placido Domingo's next album, and she has also done a duet with Jose Carreras with this same song in Taiwan a couple of years ago.
I know she sang with Brightman. She dueted with carreras but never this song, she sang it solo in her taiwan performance. And Placido Domingo hasn't released a crossover album in over 15 years.

Having been a part of Jackie's evolving process ( as s fan ), I felt like a sort of proud uncle ( or something like that ) when I see that this still a child has a accomplished another one of her dreams, to duet with Andrea Bocelli.

She does better than any I've heard with him on this save Sarah. She did lose a bit of power at the end but her tone was one of angels. The power will come, and hey she is singing next to the world's finest and not missing a beat! She is an angel!

I'm not a fan of Sarah Brightman. I find her overly theatrical and, for example, find Chloe Agnew's rendition of "Nella Fantasia" far better than her own.

Absolutely heavenly duet. Verse for verse, toe to toe Jackie matched up with the legendary Andrea Bocelli. In the end Bocelli had to yell (3.50) to show his dominance !!!
+TheGecko213 Bocelli's voice is feeble compared to real tenors like Domingo or Pavarotti. if Jackie were to sing with Domingo, she would get drowned out completely by him.

roddiener But that was a studio duet where parts were recrorded separately and Jackie's voice could easily have been amplified in post. Jackie and Domingo never even met. If they sang live, Jackie would be drowned out.

It's fair to assume that the maestro invites only singers at the very top to perform with him and here is our Jackie smashing when she was about 14. She really is the princess of duets with an uncanny ability to match her partner's vibrato and emotional pitch. For me, Jackie's tone matches Andrea's for purity. They sound like two angels.
Pity about the overproduction with the orchestra and choir IMO.
They didn't need the choir that's the only thing that spoiled it to me. As expected Andrea Bocell I blows the roof off the building and Jackie Evancho matches him toe to toe. Wonder what the would sound like doing the prayer together hint hint. Can't wait for their next duet

At 03:01, it sounds like Bocelli sang "Con te io li vivrò", but the last word should be "rivivrò". Perhaps there was a drop-out in the sound system. Together, they sing it correctly when the refrain is repeated next.

Whatever Jackie does and wherever Jackie is, zamyrabyrd is right there blowing the horn and getting our attention to focus on Jackie and her voice. Jackie Evancho send chills down zamyrabyrd spine in the same way that she affects house pets. zamyrabyrd is a non-conformist and do not socialize well with other fans and tries to be different. zamyrabyrd is a Jackie's fan from a different perspective.

However, going from video to video - leaving hurtful comments regarding an underage performer's vocal skills - suggests an agenda beyond the artist. Please relegate harassment to the bottom, simply by choosing to not respond. The duet is lovely. :)

If anyone wishes to view the latest comments first, and make the older comments move down, they should just click on the "pull down arrow" in the box that shows "Top comments", and it will show them the menu for selecting the Top or Newest remarks. Personally, I never have to see those "negative remarks" that you made mention of because they are almost always from the trolls and haters that constantly hang out on Jackie's videos. On my account I have all of the usual ones blocked from the comment sections on the all of her videos. It makes for a much more pleasurable viewing experience. Good day to you.

Honestly, the rendition she performed at age 11 was a bit better. She almost seemed more confident when hitting the high notes. Now she's a bit more reserved and nervous when attempting to reach them

+oldfruit She still has no classical training. Her sound is entirely mimicking what she thinks classical voices should sound like. I think she would probably lose her current fanbase if she underwent classical training because most of her fans have a distaste for true classical vocals ie opera and think Jackie sings O Mio Babbino Caro better than Maria Callas. Her voice will be shot by the time she's 30. At least Jackie is smart enought not sing opera aria constantly. Amira Willighagen's voice is already starting to deteriorate from overuse. Jackie's tessitura is already getting lower and her high notes are weakening as evidenced in this video. I think she will eventually become a mezzo-soprano like Katherine Jenkins.

No one is touring around the world these days. Of course you know that. Nevertheless, she was on annual national tour when quarantine forced her to return home. @@yogajedi3337 When one cannot travel abroad and concerts halls are shut down everywhere, one neither goes uphill nor downhill, but is at an involuntary standstill, unable to record or perform. At least she provided entertainment for the world with 8 outstanding performances on The Masked Singer which btw made her the most popular performer of the season with the TV audience.
