True, my wife is awesome, strong woman, but she knows their is a big difference between men and woman sports, and I'm glad I just have a sane enough wife. We are both very athletic, and always crack jokes, especially if I fail and she succeeds, but that is all that is. Life is good, some values are very important to keep. Men have a lot for respect, and some just don't care...really. Let them believe until it hits these women in the face.

I’m a woman who has lifted weights for over 15 years. My husband has been lifting for the same about of time. We do similar routines. I bench 95lbs he benches 405. We just aren’t equal. But that’s ok because we are made to compliment each other. EDIT: so many comments on this. 95lbs isn’t the most I’ve benched. It’s what I bench now as a 46 year old female having had a baby about a year ago. Due to high risk pregnancy, I was not allowed to lift. The point is, I’ll never bench 405 like my husband.

Had a female that wanted to play football. She did alright until hitting drills. Nobody felt comfortable actually hitting her then she demanded that we treat her like everyone. Proceeded to lay her out just like any other player and that was the end of coed football.

I am a firefighter, "retired due to permanent injury," was an instructor trainer within the fire service and at the Collegiate level. additionally, I was a para-trainer that worked with potential new recruits. the physical standards have dropped over the years to accommodate women hires. this has absolutely put the public at risk by reducing the physical standards! definitely not here to disparage women, that is not my objective! The practice of dropping the physical standards and allowing for exceptions has also allowed physically less inclined males to get hired as well, these candidates have difficulty swinging a sledgehammer to breach a door for entry to perform effective rescue. I have never witnessed a male candidate nor career firefighter fail "self-recue" in teaching or in training, but unfortunately I have witnessed female candidates, students and career not have the ability to complete the drill 🤔

They could keep up with us if we were just walking slowly through the woods or rough terrain, but at once when we had to pick up the pace, they tilted and couldn't go on. And they weren't in bad shape either, for females. It sucked hard, because they were always endangering our company's performance in pretty much every single way, but we had to have them, because they were volunteers (mandatory for men to go into military in Finland, at least it was but women could also enlist and some did)... They couldn't do the basic rescue training either. They weren't able to pull you towards safety with all the gear on which made each and every one of us guys think that no way no how we'd feel comfortable in combat situation if some female was in our team.
This year alone, just in the US, 4 different high school boys have run sub 4 minute miles. The fastest woman in world history ran it in 4:07. So the 4th fastest US high school teenage boy this year is faster than the fastest women to ever live. Let that sink in.

When my son was a high school sophomore, his club soccer team was invited to scrimmage a local university women's team, that was nationally ranked at the time. My son's team won 3-1. He told me that the women on the university's team complained that the boys were too fast and physical for them. So, a nationally ranked women's team gets beat by a team of 9th and 10th grade boys.

While deployed to the sandbox I met two Air Force females who insisted that they were just as capable and effective in combat as I was as a male Marine. I asked them to prove it by fireman’s carrying me 50 meters as I would pretend to have suffered a life threatening combat injury. Neither one could pick me up off of the deck individually even though I was in skivvies - no armor, no gear - just shorts and a t-shirt. Conversely, I picked both of them up together and then I ran 50 meters. Men and women are not built the same.

I had an ex gf back in the day that trained at a Taekwondo dojo and claimed to be a 2nd degree black belt. I had zero training, but when trying to show me her skill, she was unable to strike or block me effectively. It turns out that she never had any full contact matches and was able to gain her belts without them, which I found utterly ridiculous and dangerous.
Ok so as someone who took TKD for years and got up to the belt right before black ( brown stripe) in my test we never spared however we had classes made for sparing maybe she just never took them i had a female who took classes with me and she was a black belt and she sucked at sparing always kicking far to low and shit

I was once (foolishly) married to a woman who got hired as a police officer after we were married. I came back from a deployment and she was excited to try some of the training on me. I told her they were building her confidence and if anything really went down, she was better off playing it safe. I let her have a go and had her pinned to the ground without issue. The look of frustration and disbelief... I did it because I wanted her to see reality and be safe.

I really appreciate the fact that Serena admits that she would not want to play against top men in tennis. People tried to create all this hype around her being able to beat men, but he was humble enough to admit that she wouldn’t be able to beat one of the top players in the world. That’s what makes her one of my favorite athletes, she knows her physical limitations and acknowledges them accordingly.

Well i'd argue that whether women are better than men depends on the sport. When you get into sports that involve stamina and endurance like ultra marathons, then it's women who become the advantageous (anything over 200miles if i remember correct), their muscles are not as explosive as mens (which is required in most sports), but are formed for endurance, and women are better than men at this. So it's kind of a tortoise and the hare scenario. What we're actually arguing over is where the finish line should be. You want sports to be fairer to women, then add an element of ultra endurance and stamina.
My son's U11 soccer team took on a girl's U13 team. All the girls, having hit puberty, were significantly taller than all the boys. The boys blew them away. Even being pre-puberty they outmatched the girls in speed and power.

I went to summer camp in middle school and it was my first time playing paintball. The counselors decided it was a good idea to split it, boys vs girls, and then decided it was a good idea to claim that the girls ALWAYS won because they were just better at it. Boys won every game by a landslide. No mercy. No quarter. No survivors. A man might go easy on a woman when it comes to physical activity, but the worst thing you can do is tell the man that you're better than him. Guys can get overly competitive REAL fast.

I'll never forget when I was 13 and was small for my age and quite skinny and there was this neighborhood female bully who was always starting fights and beating up on other chicks (rough neighborhood). She was nearly twice my weight, a couple years older, and about 4 inches taller. For reasons I don't recall (probably no reason at all) she started wailing on me with round house punches - ineffective ones that mostly just angered me. I closed the distance, grabbed her around the waist and THREW her fat ass down an embankment. She rolled to the bottom, looked back up in shock .... and it was over. Later that same year the boys and girls in an 8th grade class got into an amusing argument about women being as physically capable as men. The girls challenged us to an arm wrestling match and the boys happily agreed and we let them pick their strongest, biggest girl (again twice my mass) and I was picked as the smallest, weakest boy (which I probably was). We locked hands and someone said go. We were deadlocked for about 10 seconds then she we went limp and I took her down fairly easily. I will never forget the stunned looks on the girls' faces and the cheers of the boys. Males and females are very different animals. That's what we all learned that day.
My girlfriend and I used to run D1 college track together. The only way we could run together was if she was running a hard workout pace and I was running easy run pace. She used to get so mad that she couldn’t keep up but I assured her it was simply testosterone and that she was still a great athlete. But damn, testosterone sure is one hell of a drug and I could whoop her on command even on my worst days. There’s no shame in it, just understand how nature works. Us men can’t hold life inside us for 9 months either.
@Ma Khi - Obviously it’s more dangerous for some women to give birth than for others, so this isn’t an attack on you, just a general comment . . . I’d give anything to be able to have another baby (got uterine cancer when my (only) kid was 3-years-old, had to have a total hysterectomy and went through chemo and radiation). Anyway, pregnancy and childbirth were incredible and deeply moving - a true gift to experience - and it doesn’t have to have a negative impact on your body. It’s all about leading a consistent healthy lifestyle.

When I was a wrestler, I wrestled one of the girls who had 4 years wrestling experience while I had 3 weeks of wrestling experience. I won that match 14-3 with a pin. She put up a good fight but that’s when I first realized the differences in capabilities. I still have a lot of respect for anyone who puts time into physical training and sports though
There have been State wrestling champions that have been girls. even against boys. one just last year won in north carolina after finishing fourth in her sophmore season.

During my artillery school training for the army, I was in the first platoon to have females in it. We had to go through what was called a “Physical demands test” it was just varying physical movements like lifting the 100 pound shells or dragging a sled. One of them was load and unload 15 100 pounds shells into a ready rack. You had 15 minutes to do it, the fastest male time was about 3 minutes, my time was about 5, which was pretty average for all the males, every single female failed it, but they still got passing grades due to the army wanting to be inclusive, now the army is filled with females who are not able to physically do their job just because of “equality”
Here in the UK some years ago a prime minister opened up all combat roles to women. Questions were raised straight away as to whether or not a female recruit could pass a 32 week Royal Marines basic training course.In their 357 year history the Marines have been an all male unit commandos since ww2 and their entry and course standards extremely high. Would standards be lowered to allow women to pass. The same could be said other units in the British Army such as the Parachute Regiment or pathfinders or the Royal Air Force Regiment where physical endurance are paramount. The results will be interesting.
That's why women can't join the army in India. It's not like that we're sexist. We're open and always welcome all female candidates. They can join if they're a cut above the rest. Standards won't be downgraded for them.

Many years ago, I was in a queue waiting to get into a club. Don't know how it started, but this woman in front of me was shouting and screaming at this guy and getting right in his face. He was trying to be passive and calm and doing his best to remove himself from the conflict. She starts getting physical with him, pushes him, then....get this, takes off one of her high heels and tries to hit him on the head with the stiletto part of the shoe. She wanted to hurt him. I have no doubt she intended him harm without any thought of the consequences. That was her first and last mistake. Actions have consequences. This poor guy delivered a beautiful right hook straight to her chin. Dropped her like a sack of wet shit. It's been about 20 years, but it's still one of my best memories.
I had a grown professor the size of a 6-grade girl, saying she could destroy any man that would attack her because of her martial arts training. To have quality doesn’t mean equaling our strengths and weaknesses, because those should not define us in terms of value. We’re all humans. We’re all equal. The firefighter one is legitimately scary. Breaking down a door isn't a very difficult task. I broke down my roommates when he was unconscious in his locked bedroom and I'm not even a very big guy.

I've been to an german army officer recruitement testing center after graduating from school. I was in okayish physical condition. Neiter athletic nor unathletic. Just normal. I got declined for failing a stupid shuttle run test. They said I nailed the intelligence test - within best 2% since the test was created, which was like 40 years ago. I failed the test. It's okay, I was not good enough. Maybe I could have trained a bit and tried again a few months later. But... a lot of women passed. Not a single one of them beat my time. We are talking about the military here. I don't think any possible enemy will care for the sex of their foe. I don't say I had to pass the test, what I actually do say is that all the women shouldn't have passed as well. That would've been equality.
Sad thing is If a draft needs to be done during war Theae people will be sent to their death. But i would guess during these times, military will have a comoletely different power and mindset

I was in Manchester Arndale about 20 years ago and this guy held open a door for 2 women, both butch, both shaved headed. They started being knobs to him saying they don't need someone to open a door for them, calling him a c-nt. They followed him for about 3 or 4 minutes just giving him shit for nothing. Eventually, he turned around and asked them "so you want me to treat you like I would if you were a man then?". Both said yes, to which he said "ok" and laid the mouthy one out with a short, sharp left jab to the chin. My son was in the Marines, reassigned to another unit, after hospitalization for a leg injury. In the new unit they had a female, big mid western 🌽 bread fed girl, and everybody took it easy on her. He did too, until she hit him in his bad leg. He said, ok Mr Man, it's on now. When he got through flipping her all across the place, she said she didn't want to spar with him anymore.

@@Mikasks I think Alaìn Prismaragon was kind of making a joke, in that "to conceive" or the act of conception requires both a male and a female. So both sexes can conceive, and neither can without the other. And that it is different from "bearing" a child, which can indeed only be done by biological females.
I recently heard a report on a study of combat arms training between women & men conducted by the U.S. army. One of the tasks both were asked to complete was to pull a 200 lb body from a rolled HUMVEE in teams of two. Apparently not one female group was able to complete the task. I 100% believe women have the right to serve and defend their country but not if they don’t meet the exact same standards that everyone else are held to. I’ve never experienced combat but I can assume with confidence that war doesn’t lessen standards for the sake of feelings.

As long as women aren't over represented they can do just fine in combat roles. I did fine. And met all the guys standards. Served from 18 to 24 in the air mobile assault.

The standards were definitely different in ROTC when I was in it for the AF. Not a female in the world can even play D3 ball- even as a KICKER- nvm D2, D1, or pro, put they can "graduate" Ranger school and serve in combat roles. That should tell you two things- and neither of them makes the military look like anything to brag about in terms of PT standards. Working farmwork, logging, construction, and bouncing, even the toughest, strongest females quickly reach their limits, compared to big, elite males. There's a reason the 95% female owners that hire me explicitly state that they don't want another tough, strong female- they already have those, they want a much bigger & stronger male to do what their tough strong females can't do. Christ the females' legs were the side of my arms, and I outeighed most of them by at least 100 pounds- sometimes 150 pounds. Females say they can perform like males- reality proves them wrong every day. Even the most alpha femsles pale in comparison to elite males.

Yeah, I have to deal with this nonsense daily with my construction company. No women are loading heavy equipment or tossing 80lb bags of concrete all day long for 14+hrs. That means we need to accommodate them and act like they are carrying their own weight, which is ridiculous. Hiring women to do heavy labor is like hiring 12 year old boys. Edit: And as many commenters have pointed out, motivated 12 year old boys will out work them too.
But I’m sure you’d have no problem with a woman being in charge of something like project design, which requires a different skill set that she may well have. Equal, but definitely different.

In 8th grade, I played flag football against a female center. I was too afraid to do anything super aggressive, so for the first play she just went right in. I got yelled at. So for the next play I just held her back. I got yelled at by the other team because apparently I touched her breasts(I didn’t, I just put my elbows in front of my face and got in her way). Moral of the story: sometimes they will always make a problem no matter what.

I'm a 54 year old woman. In college, I played co-ed volleyball, and let me tell you - I don't ever want to play co-ed anything again. Men are biologically bigger, stronger, faster - it's a fact, and I thank God for that because it makes men a powerful ally in many situations. This fact should have nothing to do with your own personal accomplishments or self esteem in any area.
And to add 2 cents to the convo, Im a 24 year old male, Played my fair share of sports and a couple of other physical activities like walking a trail or occasional rope tuck and so on. Of course the team with more guys won but when it came to detail stuff or multi tasking or anything that required a more detailed approach, 9 out of 10 the women kill it and that team won, it could be a simple game as Clue or to make a final work for college, every time I saw a team mostly composed of women, it was always so well done and polished, and i think thats a beautiful thing, that our differences makes us unique and complements each other.

When I was 19 me and 2 friends did bjj and mma sparring for a couple years. Women go there too. When we did sparring sessions your partner was random and every 3 mins you would switch partners. There was only one woman that would participate. She was about 28. Could hit hard. Sparring we only go about 40% power and 20% with new ppl and when we went against her you just inherently didnt want to hurt her. And if the guy you went against was going easy then you go easy too, its just repectful. Get what you give basically. About 20% power is all we would do and we didnt throw alot at her. We didn't like sparring with her cuz she always went full power (which is disrespectful) and could hit hard while we are just barely going. It's meant for training and technique. NOT about hurting your partner. My buddy finally got sick of it and hit her with about 50% power and busted her lip pretty good cuz she leaves herself open. Only one punch btw. She went to the bathroom to clean up the blood and never sparred again cuz she didn't feel comfortable. We asked him why he did it and and he said (dude she was hitting kicking the shit out of me and pissed me off)... he was 17. She was nearly 30 and been training for almost 2yrs. We were only 6months in lol. My point is in her head I truly believe she thought she could beat us, and was just letting lose on every guy feeling big. And it only took one true hit that was only half strength to make her rethink what she was doing. She always expected to hit the shit out of us without repercussions. Sorry for the long story.
I did judo for years and when I was a teenager I did train with women who were more skilled then me but even so I was always more careful cause they were much more easy to to throw but the ones I knew were never cocky about it. Girls in school on the other hand were a different story they would see us guys pushing each other and then start doing it but would go flying when we did it
Yes this story exactly. When I play basketball against women, different courts, cities and states, it’s always the same. They go ultra hard. Doing sh!t men wouldn’t do, because it would provoke a fight, like digging fingers into ribs, elbowing hard to the chest, holding arms and shirts, pushing two-handed from behind. They don’t pull that crap when it’s all women. I think most women use co-ed sports as a way to vent on men physically or boost their ego when men let them win.

When I was doing Army combatives (think Jiu Jitsu) training, I was paired with a bunch of female officers, mostly nurses, doing drills with them. I'm 6'2", 250lbs. The female instructor kept criticizing me for my form in the drills, and I explained to her that I was holding back, because I didn't want to hurt anyone, didn't want to give any of these considerably smaller women my full weight. She went full-on butt-hurt feminist, and demanded that I drill with her, and demanded that I go 100%. But she was trying to do it on the DL, so I put her on blast. In my loudest voice, I got everyone's attention and made her clearly stated before everyone that she was challenging me to a 100% effort spar. To her credit, she didn't back down. So we rolled at 100%, no striking. I wrestled in high school. She didn't bother asking me about that. When we started, she made the mistake of shooting on me, double leg. I cross faced her (probably harder than strictly necessary), and sprawled, letting myself land right on top of her with my full body weight. Completely crushed her, knocked the wind out of her. She couldn't breathe at all. I spun easily around, and casually put this master trainer into a rear naked choke that she couldn't resist because she already couldn't breathe. She still didn't tap, so I started to squeeze. She still refused to tap, so I looked up at one of the other male instructors and said - "You better call this off, man. She's gonna get herself hurt." So he did. And the female instructor got up, still butt hurt, and left without saying a word to me. Never conceded defeat for the fight she picked and lost. If one of my male friends would have done that, I would have called it dishonorable. She never drilled with me again for the remainder of the course. But she never criticized me again, either.

This reminds me of the time I didn't get hired for a volunteer firefighter job in my local town. I went to school for firefighting and got my courses and was in great shape, I wanted to be a volunteer and eventually become a full timer. The local department hired 4 women for the job out of 4 positions. The department then lost these 4 women because it was too physically demanding. Just goes to show how the world demands equality so much but not treating men and women the same when a man outperforms a woman physically, negates the whole equality thing. That being said if the woman outperforms a male, then she deserves the job.
As for a job such as firefighters all they need is someone strong cause it all depends on few seconds which can be lost if u good technique but lesser power. Cause these things make others life depend on it
Im a firefighter and in my country there are a lot of women firefighter. Its about 1 to 1. And i can tell you, whenever there is an operation, its always the men who do the labor. I wouldn't say they don't have a place in the job, but the majority of their job are office works. I, in my years in service, never seen a woman entered a burning building. And i mind you, we are the same position and salary. But i don't think they are not necessary. I love all my coworkers, but we simply don't do the same job.

The biggest issue for me is the fact that it can become extremly dangerous for women who believe that they have the same strenght, especially in situations where a man wants to hurt them. As a woman who did several fighting sports I would always recommend running away and if its impossible fight as unfair as you can and hope for the best, but you won't be able to win in a fair match in like 99,9% of the cases
As a 6'6" man who can deadlift 585 pounds and has 18 years of experience in Jiu Jitsu, I also recommend just running from a fight or other dangerous situation. All my size and fighting experience still isn't enough to stop a knife or a gun. It's just not worth the risk. I find that many people do self-defense classes for a year and think they're invincible, so they seek out trouble and look for a fight. They're in for a rude awakening when they end up in one. It's one of my favorite lessons to teach newcomers to Jiu Jitsu who think they're gonna be able to take on anyone. No unarmed fighting style is effective against a knife or a gun.
since we're telling stories here. When I was part of the wrestling team in highschool I refused to wrestle with any of the girls since I didn't wanna hurt them, until I was called out by one of the female supervisors for being "sexist" and forced to wrestle her while the whole team watched. I completely underestimated how light she would be and slammed her a little too hard on the matt where she lay there for about a minute, out of breath. I wasn't even going 5%. This dumb debate needs to end. Even the fucking female teacher thought it was sexist, and made me wrestle her. (My coach said after that its okay to practice moves together, but not full on sparring).
What did the female supervisor say to you afterwards? What was the tone in the room after you slammed her to the ground? Did she ever look you in the eyes again?
We had a guy on our team who for his first ever match wrestled a girl. He said he wasn’t even going 30% when she got slammed and broke her shoulder. He might’ve lied, but knowing him at the time, he hadn’t even tried to out muscle her.
The host asked for an apology because it hurt her feelings...not because it wasn't true. I wish John had asked, "apologize...about what?" Then waited for the host to answer that question. Which would have been followed by the host saying, "you don't think you owe her an apology?" After which the conversation would devolve into an escape loop...resulting in the host never answering John's question.

True, my wife is awesome, strong woman, but she knows their is a big difference between men and woman sports, and I'm glad I just have a sane enough wife. We are both very athletic, and always crack jokes, especially if I fail and she succeeds, but that is all that is. Life is good, some values are very important to keep. Men have a lot for respect, and some just don't care...really. Let them believe until it hits these women in the face.

I’m a woman who has lifted weights for over 15 years. My husband has been lifting for the same about of time. We do similar routines. I bench 95lbs he benches 405. We just aren’t equal. But that’s ok because we are made to compliment each other. EDIT: so many comments on this. 95lbs isn’t the most I’ve benched. It’s what I bench now as a 46 year old female having had a baby about a year ago. Due to high risk pregnancy, I was not allowed to lift. The point is, I’ll never bench 405 like my husband.

additionally, I was a para-trainer that worked with potential new recruits. the physical standards have dropped over the years to accommodate women hires.

They could keep up with us if we were just walking slowly through the woods or rough terrain, but at once when we had to pick up the pace, they tilted and couldn't go on. And they weren't in bad shape either, for females. It sucked hard, because they were always endangering our company's performance in pretty much every single way, but we had to have them, because they were volunteers (mandatory for men to go into military in Finland, at least it was but women could also enlist and some did)...
They couldn't do the basic rescue training either. They weren't able to pull you towards safety with all the gear on which made each and every one of us guys think that no way no how we'd feel comfortable in combat situation if some female was in our team.
This year alone, just in the US, 4 different high school boys have run sub 4 minute miles. The fastest woman in world history ran it in 4:07. So the 4th fastest US high school teenage boy this year is faster than the fastest women to ever live. Let that sink in.

Just look at the record holders for dead lifts between men an women, the gap is huge, almost double. More muscle density equals more performance power which can also translate to speed and agility. Obviously more body mass can diminish that speed an agility but comparatively same body mass male vs same body mass female with strength conditioning the male will have higher athletic performance than the female counterpart. No shame it's just biological fact.

I asked them to prove it by fireman’s carrying me 50 meters as I would pretend to have suffered a life threatening combat injury. Neither one could pick me up off of the deck individually even though I was in skivvies - no armor, no gear - just shorts and a t-shirt. Conversely, I picked both of them up together and then I ran 50 meters. Men and women are not built the same.

I had an ex gf back in the day that trained at a Taekwondo dojo and claimed to be a 2nd degree black belt. I had zero training, but when trying to show me her skill, she was unable to strike or block me effectively. It turns out that she never had any full contact matches and was able to gain her belts without them, which I found utterly ridiculous and dangerous.
Ok so as someone who took TKD for years and got up to the belt right before black ( brown stripe) in my test we never spared however we had classes made for sparing maybe she just never took them i had a female who took classes with me and she was a black belt and she sucked at sparing always kicking far to low and shit

I told her they were building her confidence and if anything really went down, she was better off playing it safe. I let her have a go and had her pinned to the ground without issue. The look of frustration and disbelief... I did it because I wanted her to see reality and be safe.

I really appreciate the fact that Serena admits that she would not want to play against top men in tennis. People tried to create all this hype around her being able to beat men, but he was humble enough to admit that she wouldn’t be able to beat one of the top players in the world. That’s what makes her one of my favorite athletes, she knows her physical limitations and acknowledges them accordingly.
I believe she said that only because she was defeated quite easily by a man ranked 203rd in the world after thinking she could beat anyone outside of 200th. Well i'd argue that whether women are better than men depends on the sport. When you get into sports that involve stamina and endurance like ultra marathons, then it's women who become the advantageous (anything over 200miles if i remember correct), their muscles are not as explosive as mens (which is required in most sports), but are formed for endurance, and women are better than men at this.
So it's kind of a tortoise and the hare scenario. What we're actually arguing over is where the finish line should be. You want sports to be fairer to women, then add an element of ultra endurance and stamina.

I'll never forget when I was 13 and was small for my age and quite skinny and there was this neighborhood female bully who was always starting fights and beating up on other chicks (rough neighborhood). She was nearly twice my weight, a couple years older, and about 4 inches taller. For reasons I don't recall (probably no reason at all) she started wailing on me with round house punches - ineffective ones that mostly just angered me. I closed the distance, grabbed her around the waist and THREW her fat ass down an embankment. She rolled to the bottom, looked back up in shock .... and it was over.
Later that same year the boys and girls in an 8th grade class got into an amusing argument about women being as physically capable as men. The girls challenged us to an arm wrestling match and the boys happily agreed and we let them pick their strongest, biggest girl (again twice my mass) and I was picked as the smallest, weakest boy (which I probably was). We locked hands and someone said go. We were deadlocked for about 10 seconds then she we went limp and I took her down fairly easily. I will never forget the stunned looks on the girls' faces and the cheers of the boys.

My girlfriend and I used to run D1 college track together. The only way we could run together was if she was running a hard workout pace and I was running easy run pace. She used to get so mad that she couldn’t keep up but I assured her it was simply testosterone and that she was still a great athlete. But damn, testosterone sure is one hell of a drug and I could whoop her on command even on my worst days. There’s no shame in it, just understand how nature works. Us men can’t hold life inside us for 9 months either.

I’d give anything to be able to have another baby (got uterine cancer when my (only) kid was 3-years-old, had to have a total hysterectomy and went through chemo and radiation). Anyway, pregnancy and childbirth were incredible and deeply moving - a true gift to experience - and it doesn’t have to have a negative impact on your body. It’s all about leading a consistent healthy lifestyle.

When I was a wrestler, I wrestled one of the girls who had 4 years wrestling experience while I had 3 weeks of wrestling experience. I won that match 14-3 with a pin. She put up a good fight but that’s when I first realized the differences in capabilities. I still have a lot of respect for anyone who puts time into physical training and sports though
There have been State wrestling champions that have been girls. even against boys. one just last year won in north carolina after finishing fourth in her sophmore season.

During my artillery school training for the army, I was in the first platoon to have females in it. We had to go through what was called a “Physical demands test” it was just varying physical movements like lifting the 100 pound shells or dragging a sled. One of them was load and unload 15 100 pounds shells into a ready rack. You had 15 minutes to do it, the fastest male time was about 3 minutes, my time was about 5, which was pretty average for all the males, every single female failed it, but they still got passing grades due to the army wanting to be inclusive, now the army is filled with females who are not able to physically do their job just because of “equality”
Here in the UK some years ago a prime minister opened up all combat roles to women. Questions were raised straight away as to whether or not a female recruit could pass a 32 week Royal Marines basic training course.In their 357 year history the Marines have been an all male unit commandos since ww2 and their entry and course standards extremely high. Would standards be lowered to allow women to pass. The same could be said other units in the British Army such as the Parachute Regiment or pathfinders or the Royal Air Force Regiment where physical endurance are paramount. The results will be interesting.

I've been to an german army officer recruitement testing center after graduating from school. I was in okayish physical condition. Neiter athletic nor unathletic. Just normal. I got declined for failing a stupid shuttle run test. They said I nailed the intelligence test - within best 2% since the test was created, which was like 40 years ago.
I failed the test. It's okay, I was not good enough. Maybe I could have trained a bit and tried again a few months later.
But... a lot of women passed. Not a single one of them beat my time. We are talking about the military here. I don't think any possible enemy will care for the sex of their foe. I don't say I had to pass the test, what I actually do say is that all the women shouldn't have passed as well.

I recently heard a report on a study of combat arms training between women & men conducted by the U.S. army. One of the tasks both were asked to complete was to pull a 200 lb body from a rolled HUMVEE in teams of two. Apparently not one female group was able to complete the task. I 100% believe women have the right to serve and defend their country but not if they don’t meet the exact same standards that everyone else are held to. I’ve never experienced combat but I can assume with confidence that war doesn’t lessen standards for the sake of feelings.

Nursing, clerical support, logistics, transport, military police, training, ordnance are all crucial roles in which women get the job done. As long as women aren't over represented they can do just fine in combat roles. I did fine. And met all the guys standards. Served from 18 to 24 in the air mobile assault.

The standards were definitely different in ROTC when I was in it for the AF.
Not a female in the world can even play D3 ball- even as a KICKER- nvm D2, D1, or pro, put they can "graduate" Ranger school and serve in combat roles. That should tell you two things- and neither of them makes the military look like anything to brag about in terms of PT standards.
Working farmwork, logging, construction, and bouncing, even the toughest, strongest females quickly reach their limits, compared to big, elite males.
There's a reason the 95% female owners that hire me explicitly state that they don't want another tough, strong female- they already have those, they want a much bigger & stronger male to do what their tough strong females can't do.
Christ the females' legs were the side of my arms, and I outeighed most of them by at least 100 pounds- sometimes 150 pounds.
Females say they can perform like males- reality proves them wrong every day. Even the most alpha femsles pale in comparison to elite males.

Yeah, I have to deal with this nonsense daily with my construction company. No women are loading heavy equipment or tossing 80lb bags of concrete all day long for 14+hrs. That means we need to accommodate them and act like they are carrying their own weight, which is ridiculous. Hiring women to do heavy labor is like hiring 12 year old boys. Edit: And as many commenters have pointed out, motivated 12 year old boys will out work them too.

In 8th grade, I played flag football against a female center. I was too afraid to do anything super aggressive, so for the first play she just went right in. I got yelled at. So for the next play I just held her back. I got yelled at by the other team because apparently I touched her breasts(I didn’t, I just put my elbows in front of my face and got in her way).
Moral of the story: sometimes they will always make a problem no matter what.

And to add 2 cents to the convo, Im a 24 year old male, Played my fair share of sports and a couple of other physical activities like walking a trail or occasional rope tuck and so on.
Of course the team with more guys won but when it came to detail stuff or multi tasking or anything that required a more detailed approach, 9 out of 10 the women kill it and that team won, it could be a simple game as Clue or to make a final work for college, every time I saw a team mostly composed of women, it was always so well done and polished, and i think thats a beautiful thing, that our differences makes us unique and complements each other.

When I was 19 me and 2 friends did bjj and mma sparring for a couple years. Women go there too.
When we did sparring sessions your partner was random and every 3 mins you would switch partners. There was only one woman that would participate. She was about 28. Could hit hard. Sparring we only go about 40% power and 20% with new ppl and when we went against her you just inherently didnt want to hurt her. And if the guy you went against was going easy then you go easy too, its just repectful. Get what you give basically. About 20% power is all we would do and we didnt throw alot at her. We didn't like sparring with her cuz she always went full power (which is disrespectful) and could hit hard while we are just barely going. It's meant for training and technique. NOT about hurting your partner. My buddy finally got sick of it and hit her with about 50% power and busted her lip pretty good cuz she leaves herself open. Only one punch btw. She went to the bathroom to clean up the blood and never sparred again cuz she didn't feel comfortable.
We asked him why he did it and and he said (dude she was hitting kicking the shit out of me and pissed me off)... he was 17. She was nearly 30 and been training for almost 2yrs. We were only 6months in lol. My point is in her head I truly believe she thought she could beat us, and was just letting lose on every guy feeling big. And it only took one true hit that was only half strength to make her rethink what she was doing. She always expected to hit the shit out of us without repercussions. Sorry for the long story.

I did judo for years and when I was a teenager I did train with women who were more skilled then me but even so I was always more careful cause they were much more easy to to throw but the ones I knew were never cocky about it.

Yes this story exactly. When I play basketball against women, different courts, cities and states, it’s always the same. They go ultra hard. Doing sh!t men wouldn’t do, because it would provoke a fight, like digging fingers into ribs, elbowing hard to the chest, holding arms and shirts, pushing two-handed from behind. They don’t pull that crap when it’s all women. I think most women use co-ed sports as a way to vent on men physically or boost their ego when men let them win.

When I was doing Army combatives (think Jiu Jitsu) training, I was paired with a bunch of female officers, mostly nurses, doing drills with them. I'm 6'2", 250lbs. The female instructor kept criticizing me for my form in the drills, and I explained to her that I was holding back, because I didn't want to hurt anyone, didn't want to give any of these considerably smaller women my full weight.
She went full-on butt-hurt feminist, and demanded that I drill with her, and demanded that I go 100%. But she was trying to do it on the DL, so I put her on blast. In my loudest voice, I got everyone's attention and made her clearly stated before everyone that she was challenging me to a 100% effort spar. To her credit, she didn't back down. So we rolled at 100%, no striking.
I wrestled in high school. She didn't bother asking me about that. When we started, she made the mistake of shooting on me, double leg. I cross faced her (probably harder than strictly necessary), and sprawled, letting myself land right on top of her with my full body weight. Completely crushed her, knocked the wind out of her. She couldn't breathe at all. I spun easily around, and casually put this master trainer into a rear naked choke that she couldn't resist because she already couldn't breathe. She still didn't tap, so I started to squeeze. She still refused to tap, so I looked up at one of the other male instructors and said - "You better call this off, man. She's gonna get herself hurt."
So he did. And the female instructor got up, still butt hurt, and left without saying a word to me. Never conceded defeat for the fight she picked and lost. If one of my male friends would have done that, I would have called it dishonorable.
She never drilled with me again for the remainder of the course. But she never criticized me again, either.

This reminds me of the time I didn't get hired for a volunteer firefighter job in my local town. I went to school for firefighting and got my courses and was in great shape, I wanted to be a volunteer and eventually become a full timer. The local department hired 4 women for the job out of 4 positions. The department then lost these 4 women because it was too physically demanding. Just goes to show how the world demands equality so much but not treating men and women the same when a man outperforms a woman physically, negates the whole equality thing.
That being said if the woman outperforms a male, then she deserves the job.
As for a job such as firefighters all they need is someone strong cause it all depends on few seconds which can be lost if u good technique but lesser power. Cause these things make others life depend on it
Im a firefighter and in my country there are a lot of women firefighter. Its about 1 to 1. And i can tell you, whenever there is an operation, its always the men who do the labor. I wouldn't say they don't have a place in the job, but the majority of their job are office works. I, in my years in service, never seen a woman entered a burning building. And i mind you, we are the same position and salary. But i don't think they are not necessary. I love all my coworkers, but we simply don't do the same job.

The biggest issue for me is the fact that it can become extremly dangerous for women who believe that they have the same strenght, especially in situations where a man wants to hurt them. As a woman who did several fighting sports I would always recommend running away and if its impossible fight as unfair as you can and hope for the best, but you won't be able to win in a fair match in like 99,9% of the cases

As a 6'6" man who can deadlift 585 pounds and has 18 years of experience in Jiu Jitsu, I also recommend just running from a fight or other dangerous situation. All my size and fighting experience still isn't enough to stop a knife or a gun. It's just not worth the risk. I find that many people do self-defense classes for a year and think they're invincible, so they seek out trouble and look for a fight. They're in for a rude awakening when they end up in one. It's one of my favorite lessons to teach newcomers to Jiu Jitsu who think they're gonna be able to take on anyone. No unarmed fighting style is effective against a knife or a gun.
since we're telling stories here. When I was part of the wrestling team in highschool I refused to wrestle with any of the girls since I didn't wanna hurt them, until I was called out by one of the female supervisors for being "sexist" and forced to wrestle her while the whole team watched. I completely underestimated how light she would be and slammed her a little too hard on the matt where she lay there for about a minute, out of breath. I wasn't even going 5%. This dumb debate needs to end. Even the fucking female teacher thought it was sexist, and made me wrestle her. (My coach said after that its okay to practice moves together, but not full on sparring).
