Awesome cards and such a great idea to re-make the cards from the Dollar Tree Store....love it. I love Gingerbread cookies but I like the soft one and not the hard one............................TFS
Wow no one would ever know these were originally cards from dollar tree. I like the gingerbread one. Yes I love gingerbread too, but I think it's because I like the spicy taste of ginger.
I love your thought processes and creativity Ginny, using these cards. I think every time I go by them, that they're pretty nice, but I like your upscaling of them.
I am new to this and I am having so much fun watching all of your thrifty videos. Your ideas are just what I was looking for! I already have a ton of dollar tree cards, (I get the 2 for $1 often) and I have a ton of their dimensional stickers s d embellishments. Your video gave me tons of ideas to try!
I have a box full of old Christmas cards and now I have a project on my hands! I love gingerbread and spiced cookies this time of year! They are must-haves!! Thanks, Ginny!! ❤
What a great idea! I actually save my favorite Christmas cards each year (those that I receive) but haven’t known what exactly to do with them. Now I can “upscale” the fronts of the cards that I like and use them for the following year. Recycle and recreate … win win! P.S. Thanks so much for the info on the “loopy twine” … I got my order the order day (5 different colors) … LOVE IT!!!
This has been such an enjoyable video!! Loved hearing your thoughts about using elements taken from another card. LOVE the hot cocoa travel cup card!! Echo Park's A Gingerbread Christmas is one of my all time Christmas favorite collections! I have quite an abundant stock to last a couple of years. Christmas dangle charms get my hearty Christmas approval! No, I'm not fond of eating gingerbread or spice cookies...pumpkin spice is my personal choice. On the other hand, I LOVE creating with gingerbread images, hence, that paper collection. Due to Covid-19, I'm probably not going to go into any stores, but I do have some old cards from previous years that I am inspired to re-use. Thanks for posting this video...much appreciated!!
I haven’t looked at DT cards in along time because I make my own. But your video has shed some light on new ways to use them. I thought their cards were two for $1.00? Or are the ones with the embellishments on them $1.00? No matter the price, you made them fantastic. I love both cards, but the one with the cup and gingerbread is my favorite. I love soft gingerbread cookies and all the spicy goodies like pumpkin pie and cookies, spice cake, etc.

I think the regular cards are 2 for $1.00. The layered ones and the slimline ones are $1.00 each. At least in the store I go to.
