One of the greatest to never win a flag. Thanks for everything bucks ✌️
Soccer is the greatest sport on Earth and is massive in over 240 countries. Every country on Earth loves Soccer. Afl is only big and relevant in 4 Australian states. Its a minority sport in Qld, NSW and ACT. Soccer will be the number 1 sport in Australia by 2050 and every country on Earth by 2100 thhgg
@@mufc510 AFL is the largest domestic sport in the world, bigger than NFL or any soccer league from a country with only 25 million. So, get stuffed!

Carlton supporter here who has nothing but Respect to this champ, as a player & coach. Always loved his honesty and good nature.
Go the blues
Your nice
Another Carlton supporter here, Bucks was an absolute gun player, much respect. One of the best kicks of his era, on either foot.
Carlton supporter here all respect to Buckley but I hate him
@@todope_tropez84 Just as you should, being a Blues supporter. Good old Collingwood forever!
Bucks is a Legend. He has done nothing but try his very best for the Magpies. Both as a player & a coach. 2018 was heartbreaking, as well as 02, 03 when he was playing. Let's hope Pie fans, he gets that Premiership he deserves. Collingwood Forever.
Sad he doesn't get his happy ending
One of the best ever. Best kick in the comp too, no one could drill em like he could, superstar.
Kyle Armstrong I go for Brisbane and HATED when we played Collingwood in 01-02-03, because there was only one man who could get on top of our midfield and annihilate defence with his bullet passes. Fuckin Buckley. Geez he was a gun
He was a captain that would make you perform to your best. Outstanding.
He was very good at kicking.
@@SlimGravy2K as a Coll supporter he was a legend, u should feel good though coz those Brisbane times give me chills, we were such a great team to win a flag but goes to show how awesome Bris were. This was my fav era of footy, Bucks, Hird, Voss.....
@@happyknife8785 Agreed. Also Lloyd, Silvagni, Jason + Mark Johnson, Clint Bizzel, Waterhouse, and Pavlich
Could watch quality like that all day!!
What a player , what a coach.
Champion player! As a Cats supporter I have always held Joel Selwood in the highest regard because of his steely resolve. I have the same admiration for Buckley, both as a player and coach. Generally most neutral fans would be backing any team to beat the Pies this week but I will be cheering them on. The simple reason being I felt the Pies have been on the right path over the past few years yet there has been this terrible impatience by the media, especially last year, baying for his head. Good luck on Saturday!
Joel Selwood is nothing compared to Buckley 😜
@@southerncrosshempoil 3 premierships says otherwise... toughest player in the AFL.
An unreal talent. How incredible was every element of his game
Voss, Buckley ,hird, ricciuto what a era
Never forget Rob Harvey mate
Imagine if Skip Bayless got his hands on Nathan Buckly.
End of an era for Nathan Buckley here
As a supporter who attended every game of Buckley , it was a pleasure to watch such a champion for so many years . Amazing kick of the football and such a champion
The greatest coach Collingwood had. Thanks for everything bucks. The pies still love u!!! 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍
As a Collingwood supporter he is a gun
I’m stoked on the number one, I was at that game as a kid and I hoped it’d be in here! It was incredible and the crowd went ballistic! RIP Vic Park, best place a pies fan could ever watch footy 💪🏼
From best player to being the best coach of the year
Loved his 55 metre passes
A true Collingwood Champion until the end of time
Absolutely brilliant!
This era was the end of footy being good.
Great highlights :)
There was a highlight where he was right on the goal line near the point post and dribbled it through for a goal Ive never seen anyone show it on youtube.
A modern day great, full respect from this Dee's supporter
Geez bucks was a tank. Have a look at those arms
Look at Collingwood now. Fingertips away from winning the premiership. Go pies. Great coaching this year by the one and only Bucks.
BRICK 28 and he just got coach of the year
SO all of a sudden he can coach??? After pies went backwards every year from 2012 to 2017 bahahah
BRICK 28 West Coast is gonna smash them though
Australia just wait till Saturday . Collingwood will shock everyone and the headline will be *Collingwood win the 2018 Premiership after thrashing the Eagles*
Shock everyone?? they are the favourites
Best field kick I've seen!
One of the best ever IMO (from Swans supporter)
And not one clip of any on his left (non-preferred) side. His left foot was incredible
Nathan was a champion player for Collingwood I only wish he got a premiership with Collingwood but not to be and his later career his hamstring always let him down he's 52 now he's the same age as me but so much more fitter and bigger I'm only tiny man Nathan big massive man good on you Nathan you were a star of Collingwood no 5
Go Collingwood
Where's the Fantastic 5 coaching moments????? Collingwood smashes the crows by 48 points rnd 4 2018 ! 1st of many to come!!!!!
1:37 Banner spelt "Captain" wrong.
Gonna miss you coaching us bucks.
1:23 Imagine David Attenborough narrating that one, "here we observe the Magpie chasing down his meal, the Magpie has a success rate of 60%, and as you can see he swallows his meal"
Would of loved him at Tigers! A grade captain!
Now this is real footy
No.5 should be No1 kicking a goal like that in a grand final is extra special
ChristianMKDwarrior Spasevski it also helped them win the flag... 😮🤭
@Bubba Sawyer for the first act i'll have to fix your teeth
GO PIES!
Do Matthew pavilich
dam great player even in the number 34 top
Show the time he won a flag
Your comment is stupid, there are a lot of times a champion of the game never won a flag! Not winning a premiership doesn’t mean he wasn’t one of the best of all time!
@@melissaedwards5689 yep i agree their was many greats that missed out on winning a flag. In 2002 and 2003 they faced the lions the most feared and talented team of that time.
Wheres the cameron ling incident ??
Could’ve picked 10 better then this... Bucks was that good
Go on the pies I am a pies supporter
Better late than never
Marvellous footballer.A toss up between him and Hird who was better
Carlton 10 goals down and breaking noses 100m off the ball
one thing missing
Essondon what a load of cowards not in the Anzac spirit 😮
A brilliant footballer, became a better coach.
But no premiership Mr. Buckley.
Good on ya buckley
Tim Watson, Leigh Mathews could win a game of their own boot, he didn’t. The grand final he played in and won the simpson medal. He didn’t want it and sulked like a big sook
Norm smith medal mate- not Simpson medal
G.OAT
And still the same haircut to this day
Lol Buckley was a spud that's the best they can come up with for his highlight real a normal tackle. An uncontested mark and clearance and a speccy on a 5 foot opponent.
Have you watched much footy
Roc has no clue about footy just a butt hurt Carlton supporter
I reckon u couldn’t do better mate.
At least he wasnt a rock, which must be most of your brain.
Grub
Hahahahhahah such a good coach aswell
The official AFL channel has absolute moron. Where are Collingwood now?
Hahahahahaha coach of the year aswell
Where's the Fantastic 5 coaching moments????? OH, sorry I forgot, there isn't any!
Yet ;)
Luke Beveridge giving his premiership medal to Robert Murphy? Kevin Sheedy Jacket wave? Just to name two. There is heaps mate.
Charlie Wolfe pretty sure he/she was referring to Nafan’s success as coach - or lack thereof. But since you’ve started the ball rolling;
Grant Thomas looking like someone had just shagged his Missus while collecting St Kilda’s only silverware for the last 60 years.
Alan Joyce holding the cup aloft, knowing that we know the ‘88 Hawthorn team could’ve been coached by a potato for all the difference it would’ve made.
I was talking about Buckley, Der Brain!
u gonna write anymore?
Buckley as a player a bit of a frontrunner, a bit overrated, those highlights you see week in week out from the good players and even the mid ranged players and that was his top 5 from career i think his highlights package would be a bore compared to fyfe I never saw Buckley break through 4 tacklers and snap a goal
No.1 really should be poking the Good Ship Lolingwood listlessly around the bottom half of the ladder. Posting performances that are not close to premiership material, yet winning enough games to engender hope amongst the toothless faithless that next year could be the year - thus earning a new contract.
#signhimupforlife
Didn't realise this video was talking about his coaching?? Anyone would've wished to have him in his team as a player... So maybe worry about your own miserable team mate!
Johnny Joffa is that you?
Bottom half of the ladder aye? You spelt third position wrong?
Remember all the premierships this guy won, cos i dont
Saturday
Buckley you could have written your own check! Stayed in sunny Brisbane and played and played and captained the lions to 3 flags 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks AFL for deleting my original comment on this post 😂
What happened to freedom of speech? Are we living in Nazi Germany now deleting youtube comments? Clearly you know I spoke truth and absolutely wrecked this man so I will write it again soon but this time maybe change the wording even though it wasn't bad at all! Or will you Nazis still delete it again?
Good thing he could play because he has no idea how to coach. I'm a collingwood fan too but we need to punt him.
Kris Lewis Third position is all I’m saying🤷♀️
So you still want to get rid of him? haha
UP THE PIES!
Buckley was good but Voss was better.
Hodge is the 100 times better
Winner of the dumbest comment on UA-cam
Sack Buckley
Shut your mouth
haha good call. Watching the Grand Final by any chance?
Actually I did
Bucks is a flog
AFL premierships as a player? 0
AFL premierships as a coach? 0
Premierships aren't the only thing that define a champion
Yes but he played and coached AFL football at the highest level which is something I am pretty sure you will never do.
As I said to another peanut on this page....same as Bob Skilton, Robbie Flower, Doug Hawkins, Matthew Richardson, Matthew Pavlich, Tony Lockett... are they all chumps too?
By the way, how many do you have mate?
@@mrbreezeaau Well said
6 years on the slide, coach nearly gets sacked which equals pressure on mcguire. Instant resurgence to top 3 with zero talent and player tested positive with cocaine on game day. nothing to see here
