I read that Koreans on Los Angeles use their military training to protect their businesses during the 92 riots

Welcome to the RoK (Republic of Korea)!
Warning shots. Had to, cops weren't around and looters were having a field day. That's when my dad found out that the security guard in his K-Town office building was a former special forces sniper. He didn't kill anyone, thank God, but he stayed up there on the roof all night. Might have been a few nights. It was surreal. I was watching on TV. It was really bad. Some businesses had "Black owned" scrawled on their window barricades in spray paint, and were spared. Otherwise, vandals might set the building on fire. The mood was bitter for years. Many people suffered from PTSD afterwards, and still do, decades later. The present situation is pretty much completely different.
Koreatown has since funded the hell out of the local police precinct, cleaning it up (the infamous Rampart Division), and has also expanded to become a major constituency of 3 different city council districts. So K-Town has 3 councilmembers kissing Korean ass, instead of just one. I mean, it could be one large district comprised of Korean owned businesses and apartment buildings, but that isn't a great option, in my view. Today, K-Town spans 3 districts. I say, 3 votes on the council are way better than just one, at least when it comes to getting help from the police. Good job, K-Town.

I appreciate that you spoke in the first person; in other words, correctly. That I commend you for, and your service of course. The U.S. military will be at the ready wth South Korea always.

You can sacrifice 2 years of your youth, if Americans you did not know can sacrifice their life for your freedom. 36,000 US soldiers died so you can have freedom!

Some facts about the Korean slavery of men (mandatory military)
    - I say slavery because even when you are told by the doctors that you are not fit to go to the military, instead of getting an exemption, you will have to work as a Social Service Agent the same amount of time and not getting paid much lower than minimum wage. This form of forced labor is ONLY enforced upon Korean men. (According to the International Labour Organization (ILO ), the social service personnel system is a form of forced labor)
    - There have been many cases of suicides and severe injuries every year. In case of severe injuries, they were discharged and the military did not pay for the hospitals.(because they become civilians when discharged)
    - While being one of the more economically prospering countries in the world, Korean men are not paid even half of minimum wage for their mandatory service.
    - They still use military supplies such as water bottles from the Korean war.(70 years ago) Even some gear for special ops are cheap ripoffs from China. And the gov uses approx 30 billion dollars on women’s rights yearly.
    - Korean feminists have gotten rid of the program that gave incentives to job-seekers with military backgrounds. This program was for both male and female ex-soldiers. Now feminists in Korea have pushed the government to give incentives to women more than disabled people while yelling equality of outcome in job positions.

@@ardi1606 Bitch please. You can teach discipline in other ways. Besides, not everyone wants to teach it and this is their choice. Not everyone go the military, cause in USA and partly (eeh..) in Europe it's personal choice.
There's no difference between this or prison. It IS slavery because government forces you to do it against your will.
