Im a golfer, the second video really gets me. That guy was spending at least $600 a month on a rental set at a country club. Thats so braindead. He could buy a set for like 800-2000 and have it for years, but he throws that money away on rentals in a month or two. 😂

At the end of the day the person pretending has nothing, and clearly never got to have those same opportunities. I teach Special Ed and those people that fake it, such as the entire "disabled" basketball team in Spain, infuriate me too. There are some students with relatively mild disabilities that are able to become independent, but unfortunately the more severe kids and adults will have some level of dependence on their family or caregiver.
Edit : the guy was a speech therapist which means he has definitely worked with Sped students before - that makes it even more disgusting.

There used to be this old lady who begged at the end of an exit ramp, the busiest intersection in the county. It turned out she was pulling in thousands of dollars per day. The cops finally ran her off, but she had to have had a ton of cash either at home or in the bank, because she was out there for more than two years. She made panhandling look like an attractive job opportunity.

Watching this from my home in Scotland where I’m a nurse and work for our National health Service. I’m disgusted by the whole insurance for healthcare in the USA thing - charging hundreds of dollars for lifesaving medication for infants and children etc. So wrong. Also, the drunk wifey with a nursing licence….yeah, I get that! I remember being a young nurse at 20/21 and coming in at 7am for a 12 hour shift with a massive hangover….nothing a good blast from the medical oxygen and a stemetil, (anti-sickness drug), injection couldn’t sort!
As someone who’s also played the violin for 17 years & now teaches it; she has no right to be going off on him like that. It’s not that deep 😅😅
But it is. Because regardless of it being a con, he’s using someone else’s recorded music to make that money. Someone else put work into coming up with the arrangement and the mixing and played it. I don’t play an instrument, but when these people pop up in Walmart and Target parking lots, it just makes irks me.
