Hi! I have an M2 just like yours, mine already came with the LCI taillights but not with the headlights, mine are the ones with the circular DRL therefore I really want to upgrade those…. By any chance, do you know if that change is as easy as the taillights? Or is more complicated? Regards.
Sounds like you have the non-adaptive LED, the swap isn’t the most affordable because of the headlights and it may require you to code them in as well, not the most complicated but can be pricey
so i know my comment is far from this but how do i code the light codes i am wanting to do this to my BMW 2017 230i and i cant seem to understand this coding everything else i am familiar with but coding i have no idea?
We used the app called bimmer code to do it following the same instructions from the link in the description under light settings in the app it’s pretty straight forward
@@MotoGearTV thank you so much for getting back to me can you possible make a video about all using it! im coming into the car seen with MY 230i And im going for the best of the best LOL, been seeing your M2 and its awesome man!
Great Video. I'm about to do mine. When you tested the lights after install, did you get any error messages? Do they just clear at next restart? or when the coding is done?
Thanks, I only tested it after I got it coded which is necessary to allow them to work properly you won’t have to worry about error codes if it’s done correctly
Not for this particular tail light due to it being an OEM replacement. However, you can find aftermarket "GTS" style lights in smoked if you prefer that look.
Having this content is so helpful and appreciated. Thank you mate! Great job and beautiful ride!

It’s the US spec so it’s red

Hii… Can you help me with a question, does this update need some additional coding?
Yes using BimmerCode I’ve attached a link for the correct settings in my description
Are these the ones with the amber hazard lights or with red ones? They look great!
Thanks it's the red hazards so not the UK spec
Does anyone make a smoked LED version?
