Ocarina of Time is my favourite zelda game ever. No wait, it has to be Majora's mask.. Actually, A Link to the Past is my favourite. But Wind Waker was soo good :/ Conclusion: LOVE ALL THE ZELDAS!
If I was in that audience I probably would've ran up to the stage get a mic and hum along. And then afterwards, gave all of them a hug. They are too amazing
I still have my N64 and this game and play it very often, but I wish I could turn into a kid again and relive the first time I played the game. It was magical.
Man...I could not have worded it better myself. I recall the very first "Legend of Zelda" on the NES when I was just a lad. The music and the sounds and the story enveloped my mind as a kid. I loved it! By far my favorite game of all time. When the SNES came along, with a new Zelda game, I was doubly-amazed! I recall the excitement of getting this game for Christmas as a kid...Merry Christmas to all!! This ensemble brought tears to my eyes, but comfort to my soul.
Yep, Everytime I hear Zelda songs I just become filled with joy and the need to play again, best game i've played yet, and I thank nintendo for the amazing gameplay and music. Zeldas soundtrack has to be the most beautiful ones yet.
This makes me feel so warm inside. Just those memories of playing this as a child, experiencing how beautiful this game and its music was. Gave me major goosebumps. I haven't slept so soundly ever before. As I drifted to sleep, all I had in mind was this; it kept replaying in my head. Absolutely amazing job, keep it up. May The Legend of Zelda live forever, for it has not only given me an amazing childhood, but changed my life in certain ways.
Hey, I don't care what instrument you play. The fact that you CAN play an instrument is great. The more I listen to live performances, the more I appreciate them all.
@GiraffeOfTheSea I think you and me are one of the few people that still remember the old classic games that made game history. Hell I still have my N64! But not only that but also Ocarina Of Time. And I will never give that game up. Brings back really good memories that it does! Gotta love the classics.
Oh wow this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I've always loved the Legend of Zelda main theme and never realized how beautiful the rest of the game's music could be when played by REAL instruments. Bravo!
Ocarina of Time came out when I was like 10. I had just started taking piano lessons and joined the band at school. I remember spending hours picking at the piano and playing my trumpet figuring out these songs. The music in the game was just as great as the gameplay for me
omg so beautiful. Sums up my childhood in 9 mins. Also reminds me of my old dog that was alive to see such an epic game. RIP to Gyro, only he out of my 3 dogs knew of such a legendary game.
To the 280 lb guy above and anyone else, my eyes were tearing up too, and I didn't notice till after the song was over. This type of beautiful music brought me back to my childhood
i wanna cry, the memories comes in my head, i dont wanna this memories go away, i grew with these, i remeber when in 2 dugeon, i was scared, i had like 5.
TIGHT!!! This was awsome. I'm normally more of a guitar and drums kind of guy, but every so often I love listening to classical music and this is simply well arranged. I could totally see this in the actual game. All I can really say is WOW!
I was imagining these arrangements playing in the actual game while I was listening. Makes me wish the 3DS remake incorporated orchestrated music. It's certainly got the power for it. It also reminds me of how much of a missed opportunity it was for both Wind Waker and Twilight Princess to go the MIDI route.
i play the Violin and i get told the same thing and like you said its rare to find someone that understands each instrument has its role in a song and thus equally important
I didn't realsise how well suited alot of these songs are until now, when im 17 and can appreciate things in more depth. and 7.22 GARUDO VALLEY SONG :D
I still play A Link to the Past. Was my first video game I ever played and will forever be my favorite. This music brings back memories of good gaming time with my father. I'll miss them good times, but i'll always have the memory. :')
00:00 - Theme/Hyrule Field 01:42 - Kakariko Village 03:39 - Song of Storms 04:24 - Zelda's Lullaby 05:41 - Death Mountain 07:00 - Gerudo Valley 08:27 - Theme/Hyrule Field
wow, the kakariko part was played amazingly. I just listened to it and suddenly realized "hey, this music has actually some japanese tradition in it". I assume it also has that in other performances and if you know it, you might hear it there as well, but this performance made me realize it all by itself. well done!
Thats simply awesome. I'm playing through OoT right now and decided to youtube it for added nostalgia, an what a gem I found here haha. I want the whole soundtrack on my iPod
took me three years to beat this game. how I hated the water level, and fighting your ghost. Beating this game, at the time was my greatest thing i had done in my life.
@maximopetar The opening and closing theme here, the original overworld theme of Zelda. The only time a part of it is heard in Ocarina of Time is when you escape Lon Lon Ranch, and that's for about three seconds. The Hyrule Field theme does have a few parts that sound a bit like the overworld, but nothing that is exactly like it. (Unlike Majora's Mask, where the Termina Field theme is exactly like the original Zelda overworld.)
Ocarina of Time is my favourite zelda game ever.
No wait, it has to be Majora's mask..
Actually, A Link to the Past is my favourite.
But Wind Waker was soo good :/
Conclusion:
LOVE ALL THE ZELDAS!
*caugh* CDi *caugh*
Nitori Balthier
Never played the CD-i games. I have no reason to dislike them :D
A Link to the Past stands alone.
McDucky I am astounded by the self awareness and maturity of this comment.
But Majora's mask is so EPIC! And creepy ;)
Wow, they even had Death Mountain in there! Totally not expecting that! The way the music was arranged was simply amazing.
oh man...my eyes... =')
If I was in that audience I probably would've ran up to the stage get a mic and hum along. And then afterwards, gave all of them a hug. They are too amazing

N64 have been my most precious toy when i was a kid and i still own it.
Yep, Everytime I hear Zelda songs I just become filled with joy and the need to play again, best game i've played yet, and I thank nintendo for the amazing gameplay and music. Zeldas soundtrack has to be the most beautiful ones yet.
That was beautiful. Absolutely....brings back memories of when I played this game over and over when I was younger
This makes me feel so warm inside. Just those memories of playing this as a child, experiencing how beautiful this game and its music was. Gave me major goosebumps. I haven't slept so soundly ever before. As I drifted to sleep, all I had in mind was this; it kept replaying in my head. Absolutely amazing job, keep it up. the legend of zelda is one of those games that will never be forgotten or outdated no matter how old it is
...Oh man. Shivers down my spine.
...I actually shed a tear because of the memories. The best game ever.
this is so beautiful.. it's like, I just started crying right in the middle of it all, I couldn't even stand the entire thing
This shows what a work of art Ocarina of Time was. The soundtrack alone is truly wonderful. Ah the memories lol
i love how zelda is SO well known that within the first couple notes from the accompanist, the audience knows EXACTLY what's about to happen.
Listening to this piece of music caused me to shed a tear :)
The childhood memories flowing back into my head....
Those harmonies.... so Beautiful.
Hey, I don't care what instrument you play. The fact that you CAN play an instrument is great. The more I listen to live performances, the more I appreciate them all.
I am so happy they included the Song of Storms - it's such a beautifully simple melody, and by far my favorite score from the game. Well done!
@GiraffeOfTheSea I think you and me are one of the few people that still remember the old classic games that made game history. Hell I still have my N64! But not only that but also Ocarina Of Time. And I will never give that game up. Brings back really good memories that it does! Gotta love the classics.
Still crying like a baby. This feeling is so good. It can't be just a game.
Oh wow this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I've always loved the Legend of Zelda main theme and never realized how beautiful the rest of the game's music could be when played by REAL instruments.
Bravo!
This is fantastic. The song from the gurrudo camp towards the end is gorgeous.
undoubtedly the best violin/cello group i've ever heard
200 points, absolutely genius, phantastic, nothing left to say, I bow down to them.
I fell asleep from this. Not because it was boring, it was beautiful and relaxing
Brought tears to my eyes, memories from playing the N64 version about 10 years ago.
Nicely done.
I miss my old N64. Ocarina brings back the good old days. I WILL FOREVER LOVE IT
The only thing better than just the fact that they're playing this is the crowd recognizing and reacting to it instantly!
Amazing tribute to one of the greatest games ever created.
Greatest soundtrack to one of the greatest most earth shattering games ever
Ocarina of Time came out when I was like 10. I had just started taking piano lessons and joined the band at school. I remember spending hours picking at the piano and playing my trumpet figuring out these songs. The music in the game was just as great as the gameplay for me
Perhaps the best game ever made. Such nostalgia in this music. I wish I had an Ocarina of Time so I could experience it again as a child.
omg so beautiful. Sums up my childhood in 9 mins. Also reminds me of my old dog that was alive to see such an epic game. RIP to Gyro, only he out of my 3 dogs knew of such a legendary game.
This is the kind of devotion that people have for Nintendo and their games.
Good job.
To the 280 lb guy above and anyone else, my eyes were tearing up too, and I didn't notice till after the song was over. This type of beautiful music brought me back to my childhood
i love this music and this game so much..every time i hear it, i want to cry because it is so amazing!!!
i wanna cry, the memories comes in my head, i dont wanna this memories go away, i grew with these, i remeber when in 2 dugeon, i was scared, i had like 5.
Don't you just love it when something as simple as a game is respected as much as a peaceful concert?
my heart broke and my eyes started to tear. it was amazing.
TIGHT!!! This was awsome. I'm normally more of a guitar and drums kind of guy, but every so often I love listening to classical music and this is simply well arranged. I could totally see this in the actual game. All I can really say is WOW!

FINALLY someone who includes Kakariko Village into a medley! :D Great choice of songs, love em all!
that's so freaking awesome. I loved the whole thing. So beautiful. All my childhood summed up right there
i play the Violin and i get told the same thing and like you said its rare to find someone that understands each instrument has its role in a song and thus equally important

@@canadianTorchic True. Didn't even remember making this comment.
i remember countless nights staying up until the sun came up playing this... and now i would give anything to play even an hour of it..
Very good! I LOVE Ocarina of Time! One of the best Zelda I'll ever play.
Shivers down my spine.
This is awesome.

one of the best things about this video is hearing everyone's reaction...even the adults recognize the music

Nervous laughter s sometimes a sign of pure joy.
an excellent piece of music.
Love the pizz work on the Goron song!
The goron city part is masterfully arranged.
How they managed to turn those Goron konks into something beautiful.
