I like how elevation is like no more piano and pads let’s ROCK
Just wait for water is wild. Now THATS a piano part
I’ve heard Water is Wild. That’s a good song
Depends on the singers. There’s still a lot of pads in there
YESSSSS

As a worship guitarist that plays punk and metal-core, I can now apply more of my natural guitar playing in worship with songs like this. I mean there is a breakdown!!!!!
I can totally relate
lmfaoooooo another metalcore guitarist is about the last thing i expected to find here
Same grew up with metalcore. Don’t listen to it anymore but when I pick up my guitar is hard not to play breakdowns at this point 😂
I am saying it right now. This is one of the best songs for guitar!
Looks like Bradford is getting pretty comfortable on an LP! Great cover!
Those country/rock lead licks 🔥🔥🔥🔥😵💫😵💫
Planetshakers paved the way and elevation continuing the P&W Rock 🔥 awesome vid
haha yep. many ppl never found out planetshakers tho. my church has been using their songs for a decade now. they are truly underrated.
I was just chatting about that with a buddy a few days ago. They were some of the first worship rock n rollers. Good stuff
Well, Youth Alive NSW go a LONG way further back than Planetshakers.
When transitioning a congregation from traditional hymns to contemporary worship, use this song.
So I’m not usually too keen on y’all’s song demos mostly because I feel like there is this kind of overdrive in every song y’all do especially Brian’s demos. But with that being said, this one is right up y’all’s alley and you crushed it Brad. I saw another demo and he didn’t play the lead part in that second chorus like you did. This piece sounds way better with you playing that part well, for me at least. This songs kicks butt and I hope my church will want to play it some day.
Video hasn’t started yet and I can already say Bradford is a beast!
I was there for the recording this sounds almost exactly like it was there!!!!!
just what the videos needed
This made me smile!
Wow first one to view and comment on this guitar cover…nice LP
Great video, each time are better
I can say that Bradford was really enjoying the song hahaha
God bless you guys!
Beautiful Les Paul 🤩😎
There would be some serious deer in headlights if we broke this one out on Sunday🤣😜
reminds me of hold hillsong! break free/tell the world !! awesome stuff
Yeaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
So cool.Sick cover
Single cuts are back?!?! 😂😂😂
Legendary.
I’m surprised you didn’t use your Mars 74x for this. Those profiles rock!
Thanks! Technically, the 1974x is like a lower wattage JTM45, which is Marshall’s take on a Fender Bassman. They’re all kind of in the same final family.
Rockin'
Awesome
Holy Smokes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome. Nice and meaty tone that slaps with a les Paul. Have you guys ever thought about releasing patches for the headrush line?
We do not have plans to do that. Sorry!
YES!!!!!!!
Me too !
Can any of those patches be used with the Line 6 Pod Go? Would love to get this sound into my board!
They cannot. But this is based on our Bassman patch with a bit more gain.
@@bmitchellmusic Checking it out now. Thanks so much, man!
wow
make a helix patch
Is this the same video as the Helix video but with just different audio overdubbed?
You guys ever tab this stuff out?
We don’t provide tabs but we will be teaching this song soon.
nice
What amp is this patch based on? Sounds great.
Thanks! Fender Bassman.
@@worshiptutorials just to make it sound better with the days we live in, we should call it the Fender Bassperson!
I was about to ask the same. It’s got a nice meaty tone that just slaps with a les Paul.
can we get a tutorial on this?
Can someone help with effects setup? What pedals?
Tuning?
what is the key?
Which tuning did you use on each Guitar ? I need to learn how to play this song 😍
Standard
@@bmitchellmusic during the breakdown one of them should be down tuned to drop d according to their live version. The guitarist just tunes down in that bass break.
Why is worship guitars going back to the Third Day sound 😂
I think worship should be allowed to fluctuate, even within a service if done correctly. Let’s gather up everything over the years and jam it all. Open up the boundaries a little bit. As a guitarist I’m excited for guitar to sound like GUITAR again and not like 5th keyboardist lol.
@@CatchMeOutside361 I’m all
For guitars and within this song it’s needed. But I appreciate nuances of pushing the envelope and refining what “guitar” is and working these awesome minds God gave us and striving for new sounds.
@@sammy_vv6591 ya for sure. I am a pedal enthusiast so I do like to have experimental fun but my roots are in southern rock/country so when a jam comes along like this or Rattle or even Graves into Gardens I can’t help but get excited lol
@@CatchMeOutside361 most definitely!
Is Rhythm guitar tuned to Drop D?
No we are all in standard tuning.
@@worshiptutorials thanks!!
Best part about this tutorial is there isn’t 20 minutes of talking prior to the playing
This isn't a tutorial - it's simply a play through/cover. We do have tutorials as well where we talk through and explain the parts. Both are beneficial for different people to learn.
