Patty I'm in your area and your story is just heartbreaking to me. It's obvious you have so much potential and you are closer to recovery than you think. You said that it's just a couple bad choices that get people where you are rn, but you should remember that it's just a couple of GOOD choices and perseverance that can pull you out of that dark place. I live 30 minutes from Buffalo in the suburbs. I struggled myself but thankfully never was homeless . I worked 2 full time jobs to support my habit and paid bills just enough to get by. Thankfully ive been clean since 2012 went back to college got my nursing degree and never looked back. Its interesting to hear everyone's stories
