Yeah, I think that they all are. How many people can be trusted these days? There’s so much wrong with this world. We cannot keep going on like this and it end up well.
Completely absent was any mention of how much asbestos is in the talc. Everything is "contaminated" with something and below a certain threshold, everything is harmless. This is the same pervasive scientific illiteracy that leads to people signing petitions to ban dihydrogen monoxide.
My grandmother died in the 70's from ovarian cancer. She used J and J Talc powder in her underclothing every day of her adult life. I grieve that she had to leave us too soon and die a painful death, while J and J may have known how bad her daily hygiene practice was for her. And they earned millions from innocent women like her!

I think it's standard procedure for lawyers to never answer with a 'yes' or 'no'. But when a trial lawyers grill a witness on the stand they vehemently demand a yes or no. I'll have to categorize that as yet another 'Elitist Double Standard'.

In this type of situation individuals should be legally required to answer honestly and fully on pain of incarceration.

I could not get ANY baby powder when I visited Hong Kong so it may not be sold in quite a few places more.
This is now true everywhere. But 'baby powder' now contains corn-starch, not talc.
If the Democrats are going after J and J, now I'm wondering if it's true.

@@sirbailes A pity, because they have conflated talc and asbestos. Though similar, they are not the same. Asbestos, when inhaled, causes cancer.
@@saltburner2 the argument against J&J isn’t that they used Talc. It’s that they used Talc, while knowing their supply was tainted with asbestos. Knowing that asbestos causes cancer, and that in turn, some of their customers would inevitably develop cancer from the side affects of use and inhaling talc. All because it would cost a few pennies more to swap out for corn starch, which is what they use now. They market themselves as a company you can trust your family with, while knowingly infecting your children with cancer. I truly hope an unprecedented action by congress and the courts takes place, where J&J is made an example of for all corporations wishing to do business in America.
