Blame everyone else but himself, call an election
OUT OUT OUT!
14 years of breaking every sector and doubled the Nation’s debt and we’re all much poorer.
Two failures.
Don't mention Brexit eh?
Call an election, Rishi. We have all had enough.
He wants the extra six months for his LinkedIn. Honestly, time to call time on the Conservative party I think. Hopefully a new centre-right party takes it place.
He wants another 6 months to try and get a trade deal with India.
If he can get a trade deal after the Indian elections, it will be huge for Infosys & Modhi knows it… I wonder if Sunak would sell the UK down the river to help Infosys again.
I’m voting rishi, far more competent than no policy labour
@@nishie1 Nice try, Mr. Sunak.
go watch starmr , why comment here?
He was chancellor for 3 years. He inherited this mess from himself
Sunak knows nothing about AI, he can't even work whats app or a bank card.
Go watch his interview with Elon Musk, he clearly knows his stuff.
Oh it's the Sunny Bot who comments on every Rishi video.
@@sunny96789 😂🤣
This man isn't a good politician. Give us hope, not blame games.
Tory politician interviewing tory politician. Is this GBNews?
Yes.....Why does one feel this is fitted up. Carefully scripted.
It's a long Party Political broadcast. The Times still can't bring themselves to weigh the Tory failures.
not one word about defence !@@1sostatic
I think it's either the middle England edition of GBNews or Fox UK.
This is opinion. GBNews is opinion pretending to be news. Clear distinction.
Tory interviews Tory- how insightful 🙄
Looks like Boris's casting couch
I hope that sofa has had a deep clean since Boris used it
Dear Mr Sunak,
I am sure that if you called the earliest election possible, then the country would allow you more time with your family, and also breath a hearty sigh of relief. One must hope that PR comes in before the risk of there ever being another Tory majority government. That would be the best for the UK, and truth to tell the general public cannot afford to ever have a Tory monopoly government ever again.
You and your party have gone the right way about making Britain and Northern Ireland the fastest declining state in Europe.
Sincerely sent from George in Herefordshire where we have Bloody Bill Wiggins as our MP ... At least till the election ...
Nope, tories are the biggest threat
We spy on China They spy on us. Nothing new , nothing desperately awful. THE TORIES HAVE DESTROYED THIS COUNTRY OVER THE LAST 13 YEARS
He keeps talking about the last 3-4 years, fair enough there have been some big ticket challenges, but what about the decade previous? Conveniently ignored. Vote them out.
totally "unbiased" 😀👌
The idea this billionaire takes care of the children is laughable he has maids butlers and nannies, really Sunak should stop this pathetic act of being a normal person.
This shows why Sunak is not a leader and is unfit to be PM. The point is his party’s handling of covid was abysmal, the incompetence, the corruption and the party-gate scandal. He was central to that government and served and supported a PM he knew to be out of his depth and lying to the public. When Truss took over he gave her his full support. Not one mention of his and his party’s role in the fiasco governing of our country (let alone an apology). No mention of Brexit….that he supported and how that has exacerbated our problems. No mention that he has ditched the 2019 manifesto and is now persuing policies that nobody voted for……it’s just “poor me”. I thought this was utterly pathetic
and will just convince more people its high time he went.
Exactly ,and Sunak has the nerve to call Starmer Mr Flip Flop, Sunak needs reminding of all of his U turns. And Sunak is the catalyst for pretty much everyone paying tax. It was him who started the Personal Allowance Freeze Bringing the very lowest earners into paying tax and Nat. Ins, bringing many Pensioners into paying tax, bringing many into the higher tax bracket. Why the media don't throw this at him I don't know. Then there was his blatant lie about not being able to hand over his WhatsApp messages. Why did the media let him get away with that lie?
Well said. I'm particularly glad you mentioned the 2019 manifesto. In election debates any tory attack on a lack of clear plan from Labour can be countered by highlighting (fairly recent) manifestos not met (40 new hospitals, a particularly good soundbite).
Also if incumbents ever talk about they can be trusted on the economy, all any other party needs to do, is simply utter the words ''Liz Truss' to remind the public
@@PD-jk5hd isn't it funny how the Tories went from bragging about 40 new hospitals to now never mentioning it. Pinocchio Johnson lied about it, his Health Secs were others that trotted out the 40 'new' hospital lie. We all knew ot was not 'new' hospitals but still they continued to spout the lie.
Not long yo go yhr😅
Not long to go then
*😅
He always go on softball interviews with his party members. It just leaves one with the impression that he's too scared to be held accountable and would prefer to spread lies on mediums he completely controls.
He’s a useless politician though
What a wonderful illustration of how diverse our nation now is !
Diverse in appearance only, while no diversity of thought is allowed.
Diversity is great but I’d rather competence
Nothing more than a 45 minute party political broadcast. I won't be listening to this podcast again (the rebrand is awful by the way).
Like the non stop labour broadcasts, on B.B.C. and L.B.C. and Times Radio.
No stamp duty on that first home costing £425,000? youngsters have never had it so good
General Election Now!
In some ways he was indeed dealt with a really bad hand by his predecessors, including himself as chancellor. However this gave him great opportunities to show leadership and craft astonishing triumphs out of nothing, which he has utterly failed to do. Still, he might yet pull a rabbit out of the hat before the next GE...
Aww poor Rich boy got handed a poor situation , worst hospital pass he says , 😂 couldn't catch rugby ball other week no chance of making a go of running country then
The deluded interviewing the deluded ,these people are so far detached they might as well be on another planet
Thanks.
If he's blaming Truss, Johnson inheritance being insurmountable problem ... he saying he cannot fix it.. .So give us the election we "the nation" deserves NOW ! .
Last week it was George Galloway
The Conservative party has been in power for 14 years and has not effectively addressed the issue, leading to a deterioration of the situation.
Sunak pulled in all directions by dissenting Tories?😅
Aaaw wee Rishi feeling sorry for himself. The guy has has bottled a May General election. Total Bottler
Really enjoyed all those hard hitting questions 🙄 they take the British public for fools.
So much charisma in one room. lol...
William hague interview. Rishi is so brave 😂
Ai is no good its that annoying , useless chat bot, that is supposed to
Help, but just frustrates, does not
answer , help at all!
Good they changed the title and thumbnail. “China our biggest threat” seemed dramatic and flirting.
Lol I have noticed Times Radio have been pushing this scary China initiative hard as of recently
10 mins I feel ill and stopped watching
I'm pretty sure Sunak never says "terrible political inheritance" in this interview...
He's right , it was as terrible mess. Caused by that weird party he joined.
puff piece
Our own political class are.
Two friends having a chat, all style and no substance. Sunak claims it’s hard to know where Starmer stands, after he has claimed to be a ‘change’ candidate and then promptly brought David Cameron, Dominic Cummings, and Boris Johnson back into the tent…
Thks guys I can look after my job b7t how do things happen new york has never been quaked❤❤🎉🎉
Rishi, its been tough for the country but you and your cabinet are meant to try and help but you continue to make it worse. Priority should be the country, not the party, cronies or you and your cabinet’s bank accounts.
I was all for Sunak. His eat out to help out scheme seemed heartfelt and sincere. I was quite excited by him. But my God... what the complicity of the UK in the child's genocide of Gaza, and now, Rafah, has beyond shocked me. Does he not have any pity? 100,000s of children without homes, parents frightened about their family's safety and wondering how to feed their children and not stay hungry themselves.
We live in a sham democracy.
Why now?
tragic politician! he make owr allies, enemies
What a Boy! And he runs the UK!!!??? What a joke!
It is like blaming the drugs company for the laxatives you took😅😅
This pathetic 😂
Is the Rwanda Immigration policy cost effective?....Do I need to be educated in further Maths to "hold my nerve"?!!!....
Large Government is the problem.
Let's hope labour does not do worse.
Look back at how labour ran the country last time they were in power, the NHS was ranked number 1 in the world, public services were working, education was top notch, living standards were higher than they are now.
Stop fear mongering
If only it were William Hague who was in the prime minister's chair now! Here he clearly looks like he's trying to save Rishi Sunak's neck ...
Couple of millionaires having afternoon Tea .. meanwhile in the real world

Get starmer in , get sunak out.. starmer is more honest, more humane, clearly wants the job more and the british public deserve a PM who respects the british people and our country
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He's not doing the job well though
That labour will be a miracle worker-wishful thinking.
When is the flipping election…. I’m ready to vote. This Prime Minister is so out of touch with the ordinary folk in this country.
People are struggling, the NHS… the NHS is in its knees… people can’t get an appointment either doctors…. I mean I can go on. This government will lose the next election and I for will be happy.
Lots on AI: great 👍 could we use Artificial Intelligence to help redesign or replace the mobile recording devices carried by the Metropolitan Police, so that they are recording 24/7? This would allow some recommendations outlined in the Special Measures report of November 2022 to be implemented, specifically surrounding the use of these devices. Currently, ‘battery life’ is the go-to line utilised by the Met in defence of why they only record at their own convenience (not the public’s). That feels outdated considering the discussion you have in this interview. Whilst Education seems to be the dominant service you discuss to see the initial employment of AI (I’ve been part of delivering and receiving training in such and really see the value of it), there are also other essential priorities where we need to consider overcoming human tiredness, forgetfulness and, indeed, selfishness.
The inspection report that put the Met in special measures: hmicfrs.justiceinspectorates.gov.uk/publication-html/an-inspection-of-vetting-misconduct-and-misogyny-in-the-police-service/#summary
Get used to losing and keep up your BUPA payments
Rishi's attempts to stir anti Muslim hatred in the UK are hard to take coming from Hindu with Israeli backers.
Labour will destroy hardworking people
I hope labour will do better with all the challenges facing the country. It would be nothing short of a miracle.
Lol like labour are coming in automatically . Bring a plan
RIshi Sunak always comes across as a decent, intelligent and hard working person. But I just don't think he is the right Prime Minister for this point of time, a shame given that he was extremely popular during Covid and his embrace and understanding of AI really could solve the UK's productivity puzzle with the right leadership/ambition.
Yes, he was popular then, but he was handing out a lot of cash.
I agree re AI, but he's put a lot more effort into stoking culture arguments. So I'm not sure he's really deserving of much praise.
@@pault1289 Yes, and he saved the jobs/livelihoods of those most likely to be in insecure work, low incomes, the young and from ethnic minority backgrounds. He also openly stated during the leadership campaign, that there's no such thing as cakeism. As a result of the generous spending during Covid/ongoing Russia-Ukraine energy crisis (>£500 billion in total), difficult spending decisions now needed to be made. Now you could of course argue that you disagree with how those funds were spent, but scrutiny was deprioritised in favour of the mantra of "saving lives". During that period, Labour criticised the Tories for not spending more and for taking "too long" to deploy and distribute PPE and vaccines. It's easy to be an armchair critic with the benefit of hindsight.
Considering Rishi Sunak organised and hosted an international AI summit which brought the likes of China and the US together, I wonder when he'll do the same for a culture war summit. Oh wait.
He's lying. Always.
Are you being sarcastic?
Dad just wants to get rich off the British people whom he does not care about
Can't fill up his car and how to pay for it 😅
William Hague pioneered vocal fry, evidently. Impossible to listen to his voice.
Accept an interview from someone other than a conservative party spokesperson and maybe people will listen.
One thing you need if you are a Tory is a lot of vocal fry. Christ it is unbearable
😂
We haven't had a real Conservative Government since 1997 that's why the Country is in such a mess, the sad news is Labour will be worse
No charisma whatsoever
Resign
A politician who can’t do politics
What is that sad, poorly-colored couch they're sitting on? They haven't got a nicer piece of furniture to sit on for such an interview? It looks like something you might find in a cave.
You can delete my posts all you damn well please, you know what’s coming.
"Rishi Sunak blames his 'terrible political inheritance"....Which he has had a huge hand in creating, Enough of the pity party, General Election NOW!!!!!!
Built a million new houses in this parliament. You also let about a million new immigrants into the country, this year alone!
Vote Reform UK
Reform?
Brexit has been a disaster so why would anyone vote for the Brexit party, even though they changed their name.
Rishi strikes me as a man of integrity, a hard-working, genuine and clever person. He has been dealt a dreadful hand as PM. I think he is worth ten Starmers. Pity his party was reduced by Boris kicking out anyone who might challenge him.
Don’t these politicians have different colour shirts or ties
Same boring old coloura
We have had enough of this 🤡 get gone
Keir Starmer doesn't strike me as being more competent than Rishi Sunak.
Starmer does have a track record. Sunak may not even have run himself a bath.
The jobs not done? Yeah but you are Rishi.. tbh.
Clearly has not listened to the voters on anything..
I love nhs and PM rishi
Bot
He comes across as quite affable, but it's useful to remember that he was a hedge fund manager who made a huge profit off the back of the financial crash of 2008 (according to The Times, 16th Feb 2020).
He has managed to become less popular than Liz "the lettuce" Truss, or Boris "the Liar" Johnson.
He was recorded on video saying that he would take money from deprived urban areas and redistribute that money amongst the wealthy suburbs of Surrey.
And he didn't realise that using the side of a hammer, rather than its head, would make him look like a complete and utter idiot. Which he isn't, but he does show how utterly out of touch he is with every, ordinary member of society.
Rishi talked about the changes that people want to see in their lives. What is the change I want to see in my life ,Rishi? I want to see you spend more time with your children.
Taking on something like Covid and the War in Ukraine which caused the energy shock which led to the cost of living crisis and managing the country at that critical time (remember him on TV almost everyday back then) is extremely difficult. Most goverment officials left politics (Jacinda Ardern etc) knowing their parties would lose. He is fighting hard despite knowing that he may lose. Love the spirit Rishi, keep going. I'll always be supporting you. Hope this comment reaches you. Can't thank you enough.
What about the extremely negative effects of the Tory brexit? He never mentions that.
You must be a Indian from India living in a Bollywood film this Hindu extremist can't even visit a city in England without the whole army and navy otherwise he and his horrible wife would never make it out I hope this message gets to you keep your nose out of our Buissnes 😊
And the highly inflationary effect of COVID payments. If he's such a skilled economist then why didn't he do anything to prevent that?
@pault1289 He ain't no economist he is a complete Cxxx he took of duty free from London airports costing the country millions in lost tourism just because his father in law said so urgh imagine Dinner in his house urgh
COVID and the War in Ukraine has not been going on for the past 14 years.
'It's not my fault I'm bad at politics, look at what came before me'. Alway someone else to blame, always something else to point at.
We've had enough, we didn't vote for you, or this mess. Call an election and let the people have a say in what's happening to this country.
You see everyone commenting on here thinks Kier Starmer is going to wave a magic wand. And boy everyone is going to be in for a shock once he gets in
The best man to be PM, UK is lucky to have him! Rishi is a smart man the country needs him for the long term. He will be a huge asset for the country. Man is a genius. A pragmatic fiscal guy and a technocrat. Huge fan of how he manages to solve extremely complex problems.
You’d make a fantastic court jester.
Hi Rishi! 👋🏼
Not such a great record dealing with the infected blood scandal, post office scandal, or preventing the inflationary stimulus from COVID support payments.
I agree that I think Rishi Sunak is a good man who inherited a dreadful legacy.
Hi Rishis mum
Rishi Sunak seems like a decent man but, unfortunately for him and his Party, he doesnt have the political skills to manage the Conservatives (perhaps nobody does). In addition (in place of repeating stock phrases like "rewarding hard work") he has been unable to form and communicate a meaningful vision to provide any inspiration for people to vote for him.
Neither he, nor his Party, shows any understanding or acceptance of responsibility for the impact of decisions and actions they have wilfully taken - which have directly contributed to the damaged political, economic and social fabric of our nations.
He’s in that position purely for the Chinese.
decent he is not
Rishi performs best in these long forms of forum.
The British seem to be a fastidious lot. Never satisfied and always complaining. Resignations/sackings of MP's over trivial matters.
If not being able to get a GP appointment and millions going to food banks is trivial I dread to think what major issues would be
One of them I believe former DPM was sacked for bullying. Never heard anything so ridiculous and inane. Couldn't control my laughter either. It was actually comical and childish.
This guy should leave

Thanks for including 😮 UC as my life line

Rishi Starmer. Prime minister in name only.
