6:37 Dude none of the nerves in your brain are self-aware all they're doing is transmitting electrical impulses but somehow "you" are conscious. You aren't even aware of them on an individual level, but together _they make you._ I already had a headache and that existential crisis does not help.
Dude, get this, sometimes some parts of your brain don't even send any electrical impulses. They are turned off. But the moment you need them, they activate, and they are still you. Which means there is a part of you that's constantly unconscious.
If Australians can get used to having Christmas in the Summer, I'm sure people could get used to be in broad daylight at 2 AM. Hell, some people in the ant/arctic circle already are. Your proposal has some merit.
Haha just go to work! Unfortunately, or fortunately, without an imposed time construct, all employers will demand 24/7. Everyone will die of exhaustion, thereby solving the problem of human pollution.
If the only thing that is real is thinking, then pain is fake, disease is fake, and everything else is fake. Then why even bother? I'm not sure this would be a correct answer to life. If someone said it, and another person told me it's correct, it is not necessarily correct. That's why philosophy feels like a copy paste sentences from a set of known people that keep getting repeated over and over again, each time with a different emphasis or with supporting background theme or whatever. That's my main issue with it.
We bother because thinking is real. A possible way to read the philosophy of cogito ergo sum is that because the only thing we can confirm is real is that we are, everything we are should thus be treated as real. We bother, because we're real, and that's the only reality we will ever have.
@@aden_ng the thing i meant by bothering is that, why bother live? I know many things are real before someone telling me so, now that he told me that everything is fake and his way of living is real that won't make me suddenly drop everything i know is real then proceed to follow his philosophy. If it's real to me then why would i care if it wasn't to you? Go find yourself somewhere else please, but don't corrupt my reality and existence
Such an underrated channel, waiting for you to pop off.
