Enjoyed the monologue at the start of the video. Appreciate your analytical approach without the appearance of a heavy slathering of ego. You’ve been extremely successful at what you’re doing but you don’t brag about it and that draws people to your content.
Keep being you, Doc! So glad to hear you came out on top after everything last year. I really enjoy your methodical approach in your videos-it’s always a pleasure to watch! Ps ignore the peanut gallery🎉🎉🎉
Doc, I greatly enjoyed your “from the heart” talk. I’ve played dice on the table for over 30 years. I’m 100% certain the rolls are random-I’m not so sure about bubble craps. During every long session at the bubble I eventually bump into five 7’s in row. On the table that happens once a year! I play the bubble (and greatly enjoy it) because I can play cheaper and manipulate my bets quickly. I also like the “ dice history” and watch for numbers that are occurring more frequently. A personal gripe- I am highly suspicious when the dice barely bounce and big red shows up. Makes me wonder. In closing-I enjoy watching you play, I encourage you to NOT end your UA-cam channel! Jersey Jim ( although I’ve lived in Alabama for 30 years), Biloxi is fun but they have ZERO crapless machines.
I have share similar sentiments to you. While I don't think the casinos have any reason to rig or manipulate the machines to win, practically speaking, especially after tracking so many rolls, I'm pretty confident that it's not outside of the realm of possibility by simply knowing the dice combination and then introducing the proper "Random Mechanical Generator" forces that they have previously determined by tracking hundreds of thousands of rolls, has the highest propensity to bring a seven. It won't be 100%, of course, but it only needs to skew it a couple of percentage points to have a massive impact over the long haul.
Doc, it is fascinating to hear your take on this game given your background. It is incredibly difficult to profit from casino gambling over any length of time and you have the proof it’s possible. I would love to hear your take on poker. It’s the only game I can beat with any regularity but it is slow and boring. Thanks for the videos!!
Doc, Jersey Jim, speaking… Here’s hopefully an understandable talk about “lay bets.” They’ll like a don’t bet except you have the opportunity to put your money exactly where you want it to be (in essence a PLACE BET on the Don’t). And yes, you have to pay juice to make the bet. For example, if you put $22 across …except for the 10, you’ve got $110 at risk. If you wanted to hedge some of it, perhaps you would put a $100 LAY on the 10. What you’re hoping for is to roll the other numbers except the 10… If it’s a POS you obviously lose your $110 but you win $50 for the hundred dollar Lay bet on the 10. Obviously the variations are infinite. You simply hope that your guess as to the number that will NOT roll is a good decision. Whatever number you lay - you absolutely cannot leave it up forever. Eventually a shooter is going to throw a 10 or nine or a four… I believe the best strategy is it leave it up for a little while until you get past several paying numbers and then cut it in half or pull it down. I greatly enjoy your channel. Please keep providing us with thoughtful explanations. Best regards, Jersey Jim
Your videos are great! I have noticed that the dice do bounce at different heights at difference times even when I put the same pressure on the button.
@OzSkyking152 yep. Some machines seem to lack the sensitivity to pressure that I've noticed at other casinos. For example, the Machines at Durango in Las Vegas seem to be very responsive. The machines where I typically play I have to smack pretty hard and there is only one or two buttons that trigger a roll.
Doc, A comment I hope others will add information to. I often use a lay bet to protect my place bets. The bubble seems to take out my lay bets with an incredibly high percentage. It scares me to the point that I really don’t like doing Lay bets on the machine, although it works reasonably well on the table. Best regards, Jersey Jim.
Thanks for the support. I'd also like to get more information about the Lay Bets as a way to hedge. Unfortunately, I don't have much knowledge of it myself.
To add to my other comment .. I use a lay min Strat and light press the center button so the dice do not jump that much . My theory is the lees the dice flip around the more consistent they are.. I know somtimes they still pop high but you want them to barley bounce around for 20/39 rolls and use the history and has work so well for me
The monologue is like a gamblers theory class. I think we all like to hear the brainstorming… REGRESSING-is the number 1 killer to bring out big red! I keep saying it. Louisiana machines you can barely get 3 rolls in.
I’m surprised you didn’t max on the hard 8, i have noticed on my play ( little different machine, shoot to win ) if I hit the button when the hard 8 is showing I get that yo, more than usual, but am I experiencing a mind set of when you look at a clock and see the same time like 11:11 and that’s the only number your brain is remembering seeing, even though you look at a clock numerous other times. We don’t have those singular bubble craps at our nearest casinos.
Hey Doc, appreciate all your leg work and content. I've been following for a little while and noticed when you double chuck on 10 it seems to roll big red a lot, maybe something to look into...
@kevinnovick I think you're right. I'm noticing another bad trend, 6 then 8 or 8 then 6....it's amazing how often the seven follows. I see it in everyone else's videos, too.
Yes, it's back door little Joe if it's rolled back to back with the 4. Used most famously in Ice Cubes "It was a good day" *Went to Short Dog's house, they was watchin' Yo! MTV Raps What's the haps on the craps? Shake 'em up, shake 'em up, shake 'em up, shake 'em Roll 'em in a circle of homies and watch me break 'em with the seven 7-11, 7-11, seven, even back door Little Joe I picked up the cash flow*
I have tried your method several times and it works.. I would say use the history more and don’t get stuck on 6/4 or 5/5 I sat at a machine that every 6/4 was a 7 but every 5/1 was safe and I made a killing on the machine
thanks for the ...explanation when mechanical roulette first started i felt the numbers were not random in fact at a nearby casino too many winners and it was to get a seat. Of the casino caught on and the machines were always under repair now they have it worked out. And a few win at live roulette.
@grantboucher9342 I think it would be fairly straightforward for them to "rig" the automated roulette to hit a specific quadrant/cluster of numbers as those calculations were worked out during the 1970s and they obviously have the capacity to track the necessary components (wheel speed, ball speed, etc) to be able to get it really close. Like anything in gambling, people shouldn't think in absolutes as that's rarely the case. It's amazing how big of a deal just shifting things a couple of percentage points can be over the long haul.
According to their patents, to add some variability they have a "Random Mechanical Generator" which will initiate the pop with different intensities as one factor as well as introduction of a second "pop" at various timings. So when the machine stalls like that, it seems like a malfunction, it's actually intentional to try to introduce some variability, to counteract the very thing I'm trying to do.
Crapsless would be much better. When, I got to 1,000 Max Rolls, one of the viewers did some modeling with different types of bets and machines and calculated that Crapsless would have netted around $5,000 more at that point. The Horn Bets have pretty significant negative impact over time, it seems.
In Live Craps, their version of a "Random Mechanical Generator" would be the rules that disallows rolls if certain criteria aren't satisfied coupled with the "Alligator Back Wall". Those ridges do an excellent job of kicking the dice off randomly. Throwing the dice also introduces significantly more force and momentum than in the Bubble Craps dome. Dice Setters do their best to minimize the impact of these factors, but from my perspective, it would seem impossible to consistently accomplish.
When I was hospitalized, and the following subsequent months, I was pretty much quarantined with very little energy, so I spent a large amount of it simply watching every available video on UA-cam that I could locate tracking rolls. In hindsight, I would have tracked it slightly differently to improve its utility, but it helped me to the extent that I needed at the time to feel comfortable trying my strategy and looking at "preferred numbers".
