I feel like Ellen maybe knew about his struggles, she was almost crying throughout the tribute she made, saying I don't want to say goodbye, he's not going to be out of my life, he's always a part of my life and repeatedly reminding him that he is loved. Gosh this is heart breaking, people usually give tributes to people that have passed, but Ellen felt the need to do this before he left this world. She really felt for him, and really wanted him to stay in this world. Bless his soul!

Rewatching this today hits very different. Seems like Ellen knew what he was going through so she wanted to remind him how much he’s loved. I never met him and I’ve been crying for 3 hours and I’m not stopping anytime soon. Can’t imagine how people closer to him are going through

The news made me very sad. No matter what his smilng face always allowed me to smile even when I was not having a great day. Thru that beautiful smile he had was sadness we never noticed. I agree with others that Ellen knew his struggles and I am sure she tried to help in ways we don't know. Some said it was financial problems. I don't think so he was paid a million last 2 seasons and 500k at the begining. I also believe if that was the case and Ellen knew she would have helped him out
I've thought of him, often,too... feel so sad for those close to him; would've enjoyed meeting him....only God knows us so well as to know what was on his mind and in his heart the moment he pulled that trigger
I’ve watched this several times & I can’t help but feel the show was his safe space, his outlet & when it ended he was struggling to find a new space. RIP tWitch You are missed & will be thought of often & fondly.

He is proof that having a big heart and loving personality can take you a long way. I remember when he was on sytycd, he wasn't the best dancer on the show. But because everyone loved who he was and his loving energy, everyone wanted to work and be his friend. He was such a bright light in this dark world. He will be missed and may his family get through this tough time.
It's like Ellen knew a little more of what he may not have felt openly comfortable to disclose and that he was near giving up. What a warm reminder to his lovely contributions before the end of his battle. May he sleep peacefullly 🙏🏾

Unfortunately reminds me of Robin Williams. Both men could wear a smile and keep everyone around them happy. Everyone has a silent fight, some share what they're going through and some would rather go thru it than share. I too am guilty of the latter. Family is my focus, times change wounds heal so my Dad says unfortunately I don't agree. While the wound heals you will always remember the cut.

I can't even get through the first two minutes of watching this. Utter heartbreak and disbelief. Just two days ago I randomly watched his TikToks, dancing with his mom, beautiful family, thinking to myself...wow...everyone in the world is tired...but not this guy, this guy is pure LOVE. There's only a few Hollywood deaths that really made me sad and this is one of them 😥 I've always liked Twitch he always seemed so chill and down to earth and was always respectful. Rewatching this today is heartbreaking to say the least. tWitch was such a beam of light and love and to know how much he must have been suffering on the inside is unfathomable because you just never would have guessed it. May his passing help continue to raise awareness for Mental Illness and help those who are also suffering in their own silence. I can't even imagine how painful it is for Ellen to loose someone like tWitch. He was his work husband. He was family to her. Giving him his own tribute during the farewell episode made it even more special. I was crying the whole time while watching this.

I’m so heartbroken right now. I first found out about twitch on SYTYCD when he did his dance to John Mayer’s “dreaming with a broken heart” and I’ve loved watching his family since. I pray his wife and kids find happiness again and he is at peace.

As a person who grew up a competitive dancer my entire life (I’m only 19), I went to conventions and grew took classes from twitch. This man is one of the reasons I feel in love with hip hop and it is not one of if not my favorite style. He was an icon to the dance world and an inspiration to so many, may he Rest In Peace 🕊💔

I'm devastated by his passing, he was an incredible person and artist. He always was a ray of light, his smile was contagious. Mental health is so hard and many fight their demons alone. God, please hold his family and friends tight, I cannot fathom their pain.
Rest in heaven to a legend, tWitch. You will be missed more than you know and have paved the way for dancers to access all types of different spaces. You were also such an advocate to the black community and we are so honored to have known you, your spirit, and your gift of dance. See you on the other side.

What can I say, anyone who watched Ellen's show in a sense knew tWitch, his joy in being on the show, his joy of life. It breaks my heart that he couldn't find a way thru and out of whatever it was that made him feel that he had to leave us in this way. From those suffering after disasters, to creating or giving donations to help others in need ( like the wildlife fund or Ukraine), and lastly, it’s helped us see how lucky people like Ellen exist on this planet. The show ket him alive, you need something to keep you going, and her show was everything to him. When you have that deep love and connection with something that becomes your life is hard. I am deeply sad for this news and all his family and people that loved him. I had depression and watching him dance gave me light again, that energy and laughs. Same as Ellen! ❤

I can't bring myself to watch the farewell stuff but even I couldn't skip this one. Their bond is so sweet and gentle and kind. Like brother and sister who love each other. This show was my comfort through so many hospital stays and so much pain and so much loneliness. I can't watch this all yet but I know I will one day and it will be so great.
