there was an episode in X-Files season 2 where the golden record was found by aliens. For the record: this is the MOST thought provoking episode you guys ever did! Awesome episode!
sure is really loved this episode even though nick and craig seemed a lil bored xD but it was awesome and for someone who didnt know sean im pleasantly suprised not a lotta hiking though
For the love of sandwiches, they're all sandwiches with several subsets of different kinds: wraps, hot dogs, open-face sandwiches, closed sandwiches (calzones), standard sandwiches, subs, etc. We can agree all these things are different, but have a commonality. This is similar to video games: a super set of digital interactive experiences grew from video games which now has subsets of video games, virtual environments, simulators, and interactive stories.
love this topic, you could do something space related more often. i did not hear you guys talk about einsteins theory of traveling through "space time". there are some good documentaries on the subject. really trippy shit
This is a stupid question, but can someone explain to me the "Sean Finnegan Likes Hiking" joke? I've seen every episode of the show, but I guess it's something I forgot or didn't catch on.
does this podcast come in just audio form ? just curious as to id like to listen to it on the go - i have a galaxy note 3 and use pocket cast as my podcast app and cant find it
Hey guys, instead of uploading the 4 individual parts of each episode and then uploading the full episode each week, why not just upload the 4 parts and add them all to one playlist for each week? Right now you have a long video with all the parts and 4 short videos for individual parts of each episode, meaning each part is uploaded twice.
Bottom line, I think it should be Colin / Greg plus guest. Thats it. Techs need to do tech. If Nick is good at tech than Kudos, do that. I do not hink Nick has any weight as a relevent co-host. That said, I love you guys dearly(Greg and Colin). Peace and Respect.
The ant pheromone thing is incorrect. The colony goes into a perpetual spiral when the queen dies, the colony loses their purpose and therefore has no reason to live. The idea of a single scavenger resulting in the death of a colony is laughable at best.
As someone who is interested in space travel and astronomy I found the last topic cringe worthy at times. You cannot equate the technology of an ion engine (they are relatively very slow) to that of manipulating dark matter or interstellar travel. Look up the Dawn probe, that was launched in 2007 and has an ion engine, its not radical nor futuristic. They have been testing these engines in space since the late 90s and on the ground since the 60s. I'm 26 and I think we will maybe see people on Mars by the 2050s at the earliest. As for a colony there, not in my life time. People think we can just go to Mars and set up shop. They don't realize that we still have't found a way to stop bone and muscle loss from reduced gravity, not to mention Mars has no magnetic field to protect us from radiation, limiting any colonies to underground caves. I however, do think it is possible to get there with today's technology but not with our current attitudes toward space exploration. If we don't kill ourselves I think we will achieve interstellar travel but not for 1000s of years. I'm with Greg on this one, people always over exaggerate the vision of the future as a radically different place and that technology will solve huge gaps in understanding. If you think about it life in 1970 is pretty much the same as today, now we just have apps.
I love you guys so much. You all bring me so much joy.
One of my favorite guests. Lots of intellectual conversations in this episode. Loved it!
Sean Finnegan should be a permanent addition to the show, his additions to the show were great and quite interesting.

Colin's "ooohhhh dear" when he weighs the gravity of the decision as to whether a calzone is a sandwich is priceless.
Ion engines have already been designed, tested and successfully flown. Years ago! :) Deep Space 1 uses an ion thruster and was launched in 1998.
The lighting is finally good. God bless Sean Finnegan
I think we need Colin to have a Hot Pocket Oration series
the pocket pantry
Liam guitargod
The Pocket Podium
Very interesting chat guys enjoyed it a lot!
Wow beautiful topic and discussion on Sean's topic. I loved it. Keep up the good work guys.
Shawn has a nice way of talking, very calming.
I agree with Nick; Mathematics is a language that we invented to describe the things that we discovered.
AWESOME EPISODE

"Cosine, coefficient"

009, Double O fucking 9. LOL XD
this show is so good
I wish these videos had timemarks with topics
IMO Nick needs to be aware of him interrupting the other guys.
He mentioned in a previous episode that alot of people say he interrupts people all the time, so he is definitely aware.
Dude I could not stand it at the beginning when they first started the podcast...
I've been waiting for an episode just about Bourbon since the shows beginning.
The chicken, bacon cheese thing sounds like what we call a pasty in the UK.
I WANT THAT SHIRT
Jus graduated boot camp. Damn I miss this show
"I've been known to cut up a hot dog in my day" lol .. FYI cut up hot dog is awesome in scrambled eggs.

typo on filming in the picture after filming caption
for so many episodes, i actually thought Kevin wasnt real hahaha
Nobody chose the memories of Hugh Hefner. The man is a shell of what he once was. But, oh the good times.
wow what a knowledgeable guy, contests with colin's intellect
Hey that's finny from AsKassem vids. haha
So did everyone start writing a screen play after seeing Cosmos talk about fucking Voyager 1... Fuck thats my draft out the window!
This is a stupid question, but can someone explain to me the "Sean Finnegan Likes Hiking" joke? I've seen every episode of the show, but I guess it's something I forgot or didn't catch on.
I'm not sure how I feel about there being a guy behind the camera..let him join in and sit at the table!
No one made another film noir until Blade Runner?? Have you ever heard of a little film called Chinatown?

can you guys link me to the shadow boxing episode? i keep hearing about it, i really wanna know the whole story.
Lighting is a million times better. Also, you should bring naomi and/or marty on the show.

Lighting does look better than last episode. Not as bright and as more even.
Greg, how could you be a member of Team Fat and have never had a Hot Pocket?!

Is gyro actually pronounced "hero" like Colin said or is it more of a "yeero" sound??
I say gearo
Hot dogs are not sandwiches because they come in rolls, not between two slices of bread. Burgers come in buns..also not sandwiches.

Y'all better Let Tim Host next week or I'm spammin yalls twitters with your worst nightmares. (i.e. Soccer, Star Wars, and cigarettes.)
I love zmo s 🐐😝😍😉👍💥🔵◻️
That was a great English accent of a scottish person..............
Elements are measured by protons in the nucleus, not electrons. Check your facts.
I would pick Dr George Miller and Albert Einstein
nick didn't know what he was talking about on the math topic

It's the "Angel of Death" that comes to kill the first born children in the Book of Exodus :)

You guys are usually great but your attempts to delve into physics was painful.
