You are so right about going to God for everything. In my baby years, having baby’s, I was very young. I believed in God, but rarely went to him for help. I was busy, I think I would just forget to ask for help with daily struggles. If I could do it all again, I would be praying all day long. 😊 I started my devotional mornings after watching you . I don’t know why it has taken me so long, but it gives me peace and joy. It helps me mentally handle the world situations right now, and health problems I experience, as well as praying for my grown children in their daily struggles. I have always prayed thru out my life, but daily devotionals as I wake up, gets me on track. I so love your videos. Thank you .❤

Good morning, Elle, I love these reminders you have given. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 Paul tells us his grace is sufficient regardless of how critical our circumstances. Yes, we all will have trials in this world and your reminder to call upon the one who holds tomorrow and hold him to his promises is what every Christian can stand on. Love you and thank you for such wonderful messages that revive our faith and lift our spirits. ❤

Hi Elle, you look gorgeous in that color and the lipstick shade tops it off. It is so sad that there doesn’t seem to be much peace in the world today and there is so much unrest. Having my own inner peace is very important to me. There were times in my past where I didn’t have peace. It finally clicked with me that when Jesus said my peace, I leave with you, my peace I give to you, I realized it was not something I had to go look for because he already gave it to me. Now, no matter what goes on or what I’m dealing with, I still have my peace and nothing robs me off it. People may not be able to put a finger on it, but they can see it in you and sense it and they want what you have and are trying to figure out how to get it. They just don’t realize that Jesus left peace to them and all they have to do is accept it, and take it into their heart. Thank you so much for talking about this. Hi Elle! I always look forward to your “Sunday Chats!” Today’s video was so timely and thoughtful. Thanks for grounding us by reminding us of Jesus’ promise of peace. And you’re right about sowing seeds by being good role models. I grew up Catholic, and after I got married, I had the experience of my in-laws (who are Born Again Christians) judging me and criticizing me for my beliefs. At the time I thought I didn’t want anything to do with that kind of religion. Thank the Lord that the Holy Spirit moved through me a few years later and I became Born Again. I now have peace like never before. I remind myself constantly to not judge (even though it is hard). How you behave with others does reflect on you and your being a Christian.

I agree about not wanting anything to do with a judgmental religion. So glad that the Holy Spirit moved you to realize that being a Christian isn't the same. I love that you have peace my friend and are aware to leave the judging up to the Lord. Love and blessings to you. ♥
@@ElleIsForLiving As a devout Catholic I just have to ask you Elle which religion are you referring to as "judgemental religion"? Honestly not one religion comes to my mind that fits this bill. As Catholic we are taught not to judge others. Let he who is without sin cast a stone... As Catholic we pray for everyone even those who slander us. All that being said I do like your content. Going back to what Elle said, "how she didn't want anything to do with "judgmental religion" I too feel it comes down to each individual found in every faith. I think it speaks a lot about you that even though your in laws who are born again judged you harshly for your different faith it did not stop you from being open. We definitely learn from each other. God bless!
I love this video! I was talking with my mother in law and poor thing, she is anxious ALL the time. Even though she’s been saved for over 40 years she’s still unable to obtain peace. My husband and I have talked to her a multitude of times, shared scriptures and prayed with her for years but she can’t seem to let it go. Or she’ll release it then take it right back. She’s just turned 78 and it seems to be getting worse as she gets older. My husband and I continue to pray for her. I just hope she finds peace soon. Thank you for sharing your heart. Great advice/reminders of God’s promises to us, his children. Things may be disturbing & frightening, but we know God is in control & how it will all end, He has told us in His word. Israel will not be destroyed. Christ will return. The pieces are falling into place. Lean on His Grace & peace until then 🙏🏻💕
