Glad to see some different records because I always end up seeing the same albums in these videos 😅. Not that its obscure, but seeing Talk Talk in here is unexpected in a good way.
I searched up record vinyl collection vids because I love to see what other people have, and yours is so fun! I officially started collecting vinyl 3 years ago and have a little over 40, but my mom has a chest full of old ones from when she was younger including the sound of music, the Beatles and the grease soundtrack. Those are what made we want to get my own player and start collecting, and I am so happy I did.
you saying Illinois and heaven or Las Vegas were one of your favorite albums of all time single-handily convinced me to try to listen to the rest of the stuff I haven't listened to that you said you loved cuz those two are like top 5 favorite albums for me
This is hands down my favorite vinyl collection video ever! I’m so stoked you have all Kate bush records! She is one of my favorite singers ever too. From now on I’ll start listening to some of the stuff that you showed us! Thanks for sharing!
i love your collection so much! i was happy to see taylor and lana in your collection as they’re my favourite artists, and i also really love kate bush, bon iver, phoebe bridgers, kacey musgraves and some others you showed! i’m definitely going to take this video as an opportunity to listen to some new music, since we have a lot in common from what i did know. i love this video!!
This is a great collection which now doubt given me discovering this video 5 months later has already expanded ;-) I'm really impressed that most of your records are new or seems new at the very least. I probably have 500-600 records myself but most of them (50-60%) are used, some are in poor condition, well, the sleeve I mean, the records are ok to good. The editing must have been daunting but great just cutting several hours to 45 minutes. I appreciate your presentation (for lack of better words) and who cares if it's not flawless, on the contrary it makes it more genuine besides what matters is sharing your experiences and your love of music. Thank you for that. There are many that I didn't know of, some that have heard of but are not for me, and some that I love too. Also, Breakfast in America was one of the first record I ever owned, 8 y/o me got it as a present along with Dark Side of the Moon. Still have both of them, they still sound good. Cheers and keep it up.
Just wanted to drop by and say that you definitely have one of the best vinyl collection videos on UA-cam!! I finally got a record player after 2 years of purchasing vinyl here and there lol and you’re giving me a lot of ideas for new albums to check out. Kudos to you!!
When you busted out the Depeche Mode "Violator" I literally yelled out loud "YES!" lol. Great choice. Also with the Nebraska and Tea For The Tillerman. My fav albums by BS and CS.
Outstanding collection of albums---Very nice to see someone else with Heaven or Las Vegas. What an album!! Great diversity---In Rainbows, Is This It, In Utero, AM, and the Velvet Underground & Nico are great albums that I play a lot as well. We have different albums by St. Vincent and Haim. Keep up the great work!
Wow, a great collection there Briana. I love that you are so young but also really dig the 60's and 70's music. btw: I totally agree that Revolver is the best Beatles album and imo Tomorrow Never Knows is the best track on it. All the tracks are good though. Also love your hair style. 😍
Heaven or Las Vegas, Illinoise, Titanic Rising are also some of my favorite records! I also love Bon Iver and Beach House but my favorite of them are 22, A Million and Bloom
i love seeing someone whos a fan of 80s, alt and ts. i hate when people think theyre cool bc they dont like mainstream music so its amazing to see someone with such variety (like me lol)
The vinyl LPs you showcased in this video pretty much match my musical tastes and collection! Broken Social Scene's LP, David Bowie's Low LP, etc. are amazing and cool!
Should never apologize for liking Prince or what ever you like. I was into Maddona when I was young. Now my favorite band is Shinedown which I went the hard rock, metal way. I love all kinds of music but I really like a good vocalists. Brent Smith Shinedown , Chris Cornell, Mshadows A7X and Bruno Mars & so many more!!
Although most of these albums and artists are not my cup of tea, I'm still very impressed with your collection. And from one life-long Kate Bush fan to another (I first saw her on Saturday Night Live in December of 1978) I highly recommend her 4lp box set "Before The Dawn," of her historic 2014 live concerts at the Hammersmith Apollo (she broke a Hammersmith record by selling out over 100,000 tickets in less than 15 minutes). It is a stunning live album with fantastic sound quality. Kate's performance is flawless and she is backed-up by an all star KILLER band. Cheers!
Really cool collection, I thought I had alot lmao. I was about to comment "Damn no Stevie records?" And then you pull out In Squared Circle. Feel like his classic period records are a must own. Also what is your most wanted vinyl?
i love stevie! i definitely need to get a few more from him. i'm not exactly sure what my most wanted is, i can't think of anything super rare off the top of my head. i'd love to have tidal by fiona apple but the resale prices can be a little wild. so i'll go with that.
Great videos while a lot of the music wouldn't really be to my tastes its great to see your passion for music especially vinyl....major thumbs up though for the De La Soul and Violator AKA the greatest album ever! Hopefully you find time to do the 45s sometime
You are so real and genuine, wish u were my one and only friend. Glory Box is indeed a top all time song and one of the best album closers. I'm 40 records in and I highly recommend Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. It has become my all time favorite followed by Random Access Memories, In Rainbows and Pauls Boutique.
I’m sure you may have been asked this before but where do you buy your albums from? I’ve seen Discogs could be a good website to use but I’d love to hear from someone that actually has a decent collection, thanks!
You're a Kate Bush fan AND she's what got you to check out more music AND your favorite album of hers is Never For Ever? That's my experience with her too, I actually found Kate Bush through Florence + The Machine and Anthony Fantano's classic review of Hounds of Love, and then I fell down the rabbithole. I'm not into her stuff post Hounds but I adore her earlier work. I'm also a huge fan of Fiona Apple, my favorite record of hers is 100% When the Pawn but I respect any choice.
I need to get my hands on that Illinois album. My god that thing is incredible. Even people who I've shown it to who see it as pretty "hipster-y" enjoy it.
My wishlist on Discogs is like 1700 CDs and vinyls long and most of those are albums I want on both so I have both in my wishlist list, I always thaught that was too many till I saw yours and it reassured me that I’m not the only one 😅
Good stuff. I have those Animal Collective, Bjork and Jeff Buckley albums on CD (and lots of Tim Buckley), and an old copy of that Bauhaus from back in the day. No Head Over Heels or Treasure by Cocteau Twins? Maggot Brain is the best album ever. You are absolutely right about Eddie Hazel's guitar solo. I have other Mort Garson stuff but no Plantasia. Gotta get that. Nothing wrong with red and blue Beatles albums. That's the best place to start with them in my opinion. You see the hidden faces in the Santana album cover, right?
So many awesome albums. And I agree with everything you where saying about jeff buckley. Without a doubt a top 10 all time for me . I cry everything i hear forget her. And grace are one the best titel songs ever
I know this video is a year old but I think you would like garbage self titled also you should check out rubber soul by the Beatles. (My favorite album of theirs)
Jeff Buckley is likely to appeal to 'young girls' more directly, bear in mind! Spirit of Eden, Superfly and MisEducation of LH are masterpieces. Kick Inside, VU and Nico, Hissing of Summer Lawns, Diamond Dogs .....essential in any serious collection. You might like Beth Gibbons solo Lp, a few 'levels' up from her Portishead efforts and My Life in the Bush of Ghosts which makes the very good Talking Heads Lp's look 'amateur'.
I watched right through A genuinely great horde of eclectic recordings Kate Bush wow a fantastic artist She lives close by to me In Kent in the UK. I was lucky enough to meet her drummer at a wedding (prob1 of many) blessed as I am getting hired to play selections of Vinyl records chosen for guests . As a sleep aide. May I humbly recommend reggae as a genre . Marley is a great starting point but the style is vast , dub works excellently , as does most Classical
Hello Briana You look wonderful as always. I really like your reactions to The Weeknd So what am I, he has new tracks out. Will there be reactions to them, wait for them in the future
Not me just writing down every single album that I haven’t heard of and looking forward to listening to them like crazy
Her music taste is incredible, you're about to listen to a gold mine!
I saw Tyler on the Thumbnail know I’m hooked
Samee
I'm quite impressed by your collection, especially how wide the range of genres that you listened to.. Awesome, keep up the great work!
great diverse vinyl collection with modern and old artists this is how a vinyl collection should be
I'm honestly jealous of your wide array of music and genres at such a young age, I need to branch out my listening lol
The Zombies, PJ Harvey, Julia Holter, Weyes Blood… you have an impeccable music collection. 🎸
Glad to see some different records because I always end up seeing the same albums in these videos 😅. Not that its obscure, but seeing Talk Talk in here is unexpected in a good way.
kudos to u for ur music taste its a journey. learning new things. its been my hobby and stiil gives me joy

Never for Ever is my fav Kate project too! I think you're the first person I've seen who's with me on that
This is hands down my favorite vinyl collection video ever! I’m so stoked you have all Kate bush records! She is one of my favorite singers ever too. From now on I’ll start listening to some of the stuff that you showed us! Thanks for sharing!
You have one of the best vinyl collections I've seen on UA-cam. Well done + well presented.
i love watching people show their record collection
i love your collection so much! i was happy to see taylor and lana in your collection as they’re my favourite artists, and i also really love kate bush, bon iver, phoebe bridgers, kacey musgraves and some others you showed! i’m definitely going to take this video as an opportunity to listen to some new music, since we have a lot in common from what i did know. i love this video!!
respect for putting literally all the artists in the description lol
This is a great collection which now doubt given me discovering this video 5 months later has already expanded ;-)

“I don’t have too many because they’re expensive” literally 200😂😂
Wow, a great collection there Briana. I love that you are so young but also really dig the 60's and 70's music. btw: I totally agree that Revolver is the best Beatles album and imo Tomorrow Never Knows is the best track on it. All the tracks are good though. Also love your hair style. 😍

Great choice on Talk Talk. I've listened to them for forty years and it's time to add them on vinyl, especially their first couple albums
i love seeing someone whos a fan of 80s, alt and ts. i hate when people think theyre cool bc they dont like mainstream music so its amazing to see someone with such variety (like me lol)
Would actually love to see your 45s collection, singles are so underrated!
large range and a deep bow to your taste...Spirit of Eden, not many embrace that album! Great stuff
The vinyl LPs you showcased in this video pretty much match my musical tastes and collection! Broken Social Scene's LP, David Bowie's Low LP, etc. are amazing and cool!

This collection is AMAZING omg good stuff!!
I put my 'A Tribe Called Quest' records in the A section as well... I like having such a strong act as the first artist in my hip hop collection.
Thanks for sharing. You do have a wide array of music tastes which makes it fun.
i love your taste so much, glad to say i've recognized like 80% of these we are so similar!!
Awesome collection ! So many great albums, lots of ones I have in my collection too
Glad to see Yola getting recognition, one of the few albums I picked up on Vinyl, cassette and CD, so good!
That list is just chef's kiss, maam
Flawless taste through and through really amazing impressive variation and quality.. i’m not just saying but the more I watch.

You have really good taste in music i must say 🔥🔥👍
Do you have a link to your Discogs? Curious to see your collection there. Can't find it anywhere. ^
Did you have a yellow to white filter on? That might be why it showed as white for lemonade album.
You're a Kate Bush fan AND she's what got you to check out more music AND your favorite album of hers is Never For Ever? Very cool collection - I'll will definitely check out some of your recommendations (Jeff Buckley f.ex.).
I need to get my hands on that Illinois album. My god that thing is incredible. Even people who I've shown it to who see it as pretty "hipster-y" enjoy it.
it's such a loveable album!
You have such a nice, diverse collection ! Very interesting...
Please do your fave albums of 2024. :)
My wishlist on Discogs is like 1700 CDs and vinyls long and most of those are albums I want on both so I have both in my wishlist list, I always thaught that was too many till I saw yours and it reassured me that I’m not the only one 😅
Great taste!
Great and wide-ranging collection in and of itself, but I suspect this is just the start of something that will end up in the thousands of titles. :-D
my dream girl
PHOEBEEEEE
i would love to see your 45 collection!!
Very nice collection. I just started buying records last year. I’d like to make a video like this.
Crazy how much our tastes in music overlaps
That is because everybody is listening to the same music.
I love ur taste
you have immaculate taste

❤
I’ve walked around sizeable record shops and not seen this many albums that I’d never heard of in my life 🤔
I’d steal that Betty’s Garden record any day!
Need you back in the game girl 😔
Love it !
So many awesome albums. And I agree with everything you where saying about jeff buckley. Without a doubt a top 10 all time for me . I cry everything i hear forget her. And grace are one the best titel songs ever

Good collection. Well, I have Zombies' O and O 😂. And 25 others
No Madonna records?
As soon as she pulled out denzel curry I fell in love
Completely endorse your comments on Grace 😻

Where do yall like to buy your vinyls?
Leaving a like and subbing for the respect on Grace. ❤

Just wondering, do you like Between the Lines by Janis Ian?
i haven't heard it, but it looks like something i could enjoy!
@@brianamary yeah I think you’d really like it! She has very confessional songwriting similar to Phoebe Bridgers
Do you have a Discogs!?
Wrote this at the beginning of the video 💀
you talk like the youtuber wendigoon, like the way you say things and the laid back tone reminds me of him haha, but it's not a bad thing!!
Love Time n Place!! I own it too! ❤

SOMEONE WITH TASTE
Good taste.
Hello Briana
You look wonderful as always.
I really like your reactions to The Weeknd
So what am I, he has new tracks out. Will there be reactions to them, wait for them in the future
