I just bought this chainsaw today I didn't know anything about it. I look this item up on UA-cam and your channel appears wow. Thank you for looking out for people or customers like my self. ❤
I just bought one yesterday. Watching the video to insure i know how to operate the saw. I bought it because I am 78 years and very little in my yard any more. Thanks for the video
I wish that I had gotten one sooner. Screw those regular pruners. I'm chopping everything down around my fence. The battery is fine, it goes long enough, then I need a break anyway. Never ran it all the way down.
I only use a chainsaw for the trunks of trees and large branches. I use a reciprocating saw for all the smaller branches, as I hate having to tend to all the chainsaw's maintenance needs.
I bought this today (9/17/24) at Lowes.. It was on sale $109.00. This is my first chainsaw so I'm a little scared.. LOL I need to go back to get oil I guess.. LOL THANK YOU for the video.
It seems quite craptastic. The chain is too slow, so it basically feels like you're "clubbing" your way through stuff. It has maybe half the advertised battery life. The tip guard is completely stupid (I removed mine ASAP as it got crap stuck in it all the time, and it's not fun to get out. I cut some 2.5-3in maple, and it just fell on its face. it gets hot (the chain burned me), totally dirty, greasy, and it insists on tipping over every time I set down, which leads to it rolling down hills, I would rather use my silky hand saw.
I feel like at that size, a recip saw with prunning blade is just as good and SO much more tool for your money. In fact my recip saw took me through falling and processing a 14 inch tree.
I just bought one, ready to go pick it up from Lowes, then decided to see if there were any reviews. (Yes, backwards order but oh well.) What about the chain? I didn't see any replacements for sale on the Lowes website, and wondered what the life of the chain is. I did get a file and a bottle of oil. Even having a manual oil dispenser button or something would be nice, but for the price this is ok.

Excellent review/video, seems the new craftsman still holds up to the old standards.

This was incredibly helpful, thank you!
And your call out on the Crape Myrtle was perfect. I appreciate you!
I bought the Kobalt 24v brushless 6in pruner a few months ago and its a beast of a pruner. This one seems to cut just fine and have plenty of power
A very helpful video. Good job!
Answered all my questions. Thank you

I did that too until I got an 8” Milwaukee mini chainsaw. It’s so worth it lol
The Milwaukee M12 Hatchet is so much faster than a recip saw. And you don’t get the vibration
I have the m18 8” version I would never use a sawzall over it now

Love your videos man, you're the best in the business. Any word on the Ryobi PSBLB01?
I bought this the other day; after watching your video - I am ready to make it purr! #wifetools
pull the tool out the other way push the back clip back an it pops right out
