My Instructions screw into the sash too, but screwing a sash ruins the window. I need Help where I can mount the AC unit without screwing into the sash

I lost interest after majority of time he spend explaining and lacking along with demonstration steps. The title had got my attention because I was looking to install my ac.

The acordian panels on mine are torn im not sure what to do now, the unit was given to me by a friend who didn't need it.

They put the side curtains in backward, know how to install your unit correctly before you do it
