I know Del and Rodney were obviously meant to be the main characters in Only Fools, but the show just wouldn't have been the same without John Challis as Boycie!
Rob I just want to say that you are a great interviewer, you let the guest speak without interruption and you listen to them without being condiscending. Great work man :)
I paid for a personalised video message from him for my dads birthday. It was absolute gold!!! My dad was over the moon and it was worth 2 or 3 times what we paid for it. What a superb character 👍
Really enjoyed listening to this, thanks. Was nice to see an interview/chat where actually got to hear what the person had to say. Hearing all about the the little links and progression to what later came to be.
I would say any person who have been lucky enough, as all cast members who have been in a number 1 show and after many a year still loved as like Phil Silvers Bilko in 1956 and still loved ,to our own Dads Army and Only Fools were they became a part of the family, and they from all the great shows and cast will live forever.
John Challis aka boycie is a fantastic guy brilliant opinion of piers Morgan spot on I met John in Falkirk several months ago and he was fantastic great show and happy to pose for photos and sign autographs ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Jim and Sue, always attend the OFAH's gatherings. Met them yesterday in Margate on the Jolly BOys Outing Anniversary and they're s very sweet. Got Autographs and photos with them :)
@@kendall_knows_best2872 nah mate. Your the sad one. Sitting on your ones cussin people off on the internet cus you can't come out your hollow, 😂😂 melt
When you see him as himself, an old geezer comfortable in his own skin, you realise the talent and and energy that went into playing a car salesman snob.
I always find it interesting when someone pompously dismisses someone regarded as opinionated, the small detail that the disdain is perhaps rooted in those opinions clashing with their own is an irony that seems to fly right over their own heads, must one 'call sides' ahead of interviews these days? disclaimer the virtue? it's all very tiresome
He didn't say anything about his opinions? Merely called him arrogant and stated "he never stopped talking". Are those remarks considered pompous dismissal?
The Seeds of Doom ranks as one of Tom Bakers finest Doctor Who’s, John is the baddies minder. He is bad to start with and sees the error of his ways, sadly he is killed soon after
RIP John. Boycie is one of the all-time great comedy characters.
I know Del and Rodney were obviously meant to be the main characters in Only Fools, but the show just wouldn't have been the same without John Challis as Boycie!
Or Trig and Uncle Albert

Agree, I've had to turn off so many american interviews with "big" interviewers due to them taking over interviews. this is the perfect interview tbh!
John looks stunning for his age.
He still looks almost exactly like he did in only fools and horses.
His skin has hardly even aged.
'stunning' - errrr chill out mate
Met him when he signed his autobiography, and he was so nice. Had time for everyone.
I paid for a personalised video message from him for my dads birthday. It was absolute gold!!! My dad was over the moon and it was worth 2 or 3 times what we paid for it. What a superb character 👍

This video got off to a great start. Summed Piers Morgan up quite nicely lol
Boycie or Trigger, who was better?
Personally I think Trigger but Boyce was great too. Trigger was always my favourite character from the whole show.
RIP John challis
Brilliant was comedy gold in OFAH
When you see him as himself, an old geezer comfortable in his own skin, you realise the talent and and energy that went into playing a car salesman snob.
RIP, he didn’t like piers Morgan so he earns my respect 👍
Legend
Such fabulous actors are born only once in a lifetime! Irreplaceable and become immortal for a particular role they played during their career!
