Slothy heads north ... Join me for the 800th Loughborough Fun Fair, First time for me a this massive street fair up north (midlands) and wow what a line up, So many bucket list machines including The Exciter, Fighter and many more! It was great finally getting up to a northern fair, This one was the biggest and best fair I've been too, Met up with a load of enthusiasts including Daz, Dan, Coops, Horsman and many more ... We started off with the Model show before a ride on Silcocks amazing Freak out, AtmosFEAR the Loop fighter and much much more! I was blown away with the amount of machines, sides, games and PEOPLE! This was a premium event with prices between £4-£7 with first time machines such as the two Extremes, the Matterhorn and King Frogs. Ive tried to expand in 2021 and I've been further than any other year to track down different grounds and different machine & Loughborough was the highlight trip of the year! it was also great to meet so many people who watches my vlogs and other channels including PT Vlogs! Fairs have been held in Loughborough for centuries, the first official Charter being granted to the Lord of the Manor, Hugh le Despencer, in 1221 by King Henry III. The Fair was then held on St. Peter’s Day.
Approximately 100 individual show people attend each year, presenting between them some 20 large rides, numerous children's rides, games and novelty stalls, and the usual popular refreshment stands.
