Building the car yourself is so much more rewarding than paying a shop to do it. Although im not a fan of body kits, you did a great job! Enjoy the car and keep up the great work.
Thanks man, I totally get the feeling of working on a car yourself. It's so rewarding, even if afterwards you step back and it's nowhere near perfect. Just knowing that you did it yourself, and that you'll improve it in the future is a great feeling

Very very well done I like what you have done to one of my favorite cars the mk3 Supra I’m personally no a fan of the stripes but it’s your build so I can’t say anything. But I wanna do this to mine and any way dude the car looks killer I love it and those stripes actually do pull it off the way you implemented them ok to the car

Everyone has there opinion but I think learning to do things yourself is important because you can pass things on to your kids so they don't just know video games. Research and willingness to learn correct information from others helps. Good job bro.

Right now its the NA 7m, but I'm currently saving for the 1j that hopefully will go in next summer

@@xlamericanbullypitbull7237 Unfortunately not anymore, the ebay seller I got them for shut down their shop. JP Fiberglass sells a lot of flares and such and they're a good company, so that's the place I'd look. They're Rocket Bunny v1 flares for a Nissan s13
Is the ducktail custom?
Yes and no, its off an s13, but I did some custom work to make it fit the car better (I don't recommend doing that though, it's a lot better to just buy one made for the mk3, but I went the cheap rout because I didn't want to spend that much haha)
Where I can buy a 1jz? In good condition!
I ended up having to email 10-20 different JDM import companies before I finally found one. So I'd recommend quantity emails to see what you can find
it also doesn't help that a lot of JDM import shops aren't kept up to date, so they may say they have an engine when they actually don't

It's off an s13, but the two companies that make them for the mk3 Supra is RetroSpec and Javis, but Javis has really bad reviews

They're the Rocket Bunny s13 V1 front and rear flares. Should've gotten the V2 kit, but hey, live and learn. I still love it

Yuuk. Ruined such a good platform. You could spend that money on a simple coilover set + decent wheels and it would look 10x better.

Did I talk about a build? An there is a difference between being unique and cutting corners. You cant execute this style on a supra mk3 just fine. Would love to see it someday with a smooth paintjob + non hardware store panel fitment.
Justinus van Linden I agree with the paint job part. But ya have to admit for a rattle can this thing looks good. And he might be “cutting corners” to you, but at least he’s out there doing his own stuff. Unlike most enthusiasts nowadays just taking it to a shop
I appreciate the mk3 so much as a platform that I personally think its a waste to use this car when making certain decisions like this guy. But maybe thats because I just really love these cars. You only have to work a couple hourse a week more to get your nice fitment (widebody) panels from a shop like Shine Auto Project or buy proper 2K carpaint. It wont cost you an arm and a leg. I straightened and painted my mk3 2jzgte supra in the garden with a cheap compressor for 200$ total, made a paint boot from pieces of wood + groundsheet and wow, you suddenly have some decents results without a big investment.
Justinus van Linden I agree. I had an 88, they such great cars. However for this guy working on it himself he’s learning. When I had my car it took a couple years before I had body work and an actual paint job thrown on it.
