Black Opium is badassed!
Hell yes!👸👏👏👏
I have every version of black opium and I adore them all.

As u should
Honestly viva la juicy is so similar to gucci flora gorgeous gardenia and nobody calls that one trashy. Marketing affects how we perceive fragrances sooo much
I completely agree!!
Yap. Viva la juicy is very much similar to gucci flora. Very far from trashy list. Correction should be done ASAP😛
Totally agree! People who blind test VLJ usually like it until they see the bottle (watch curly scents’ blind testing video, the men in the video actually like it, but they claim to dislike VLJ in another video). I usually go to Jeremy’s videos for guidance. He is a much better fragrance reviewer imo!
My favorite and most complimented perfume!!! I love the packaging too❤️
@@Lin43212 I agree!
lol she even created a scenario to describe the women character who wear VLJ🤣😛. I personally far from this description 🤷♀️. She is just using all manuplation techniques, but this just doesn't not help 👀
I have so many niche perfumes and I just now got viva la juicy and my husband is obsessed. It’s crazy.
It's true that a lot of men love how it smells!

Juicy Couture has the nicest perfumes, imo. I've never smelled a perfume nicer than Viva La Juicy. When I wear it, I get tonnes of compliments❤
Same!! You simply dont over spray and it has to do with body chemistry
I never liked the Juicy Couture perfumes. Something about them smells tacky.
@@starrisesky its ok lol some people like sweet candy scents and i really dislike it, even taste buds are different but perfume smells better or worse based of your body too, i like the fact that it stays all day and you dont have to overdo it.

If you love the original, try the Viva La Juicy Bowdacious. It's all the original is, but with coconut! 😍
I got black opium because I wanted kind of a ratchet loud fragrance but for some reason people love it on me and describe it as understated, classy and „proper“ lol

Black Opium is an amazing scent. For me where it shines is on the dry down. If you haven’t smelled it, do yourself a favor and give it a shot.
Black Opium is AMAZING. This video, however, is ratchet 😂
Black Opium is my signature because I enjoy it and don't wear perfume for anyone but myself. If I ever get to go out again and want to smell more unique I would definitely choose something else.
👏👏👏👏👏
Don't we do it merely for ourselves? Personally I dress for myself, wear makeup and hairstyle for myself, use fragrances I like (not the ones that others advice). And don't give a darn if someone dislikes it😂
And yeah, trashy sounds kind of snobbish and inappropriate here...

Olympea is classy!!! The fa ~ lmfao. Meh.. I love. Is dope. 🎤 Is not trying to hard at all ~ it’s not trying at all. 🎤 What it IS: Is sweet inviting delightful. Intoxicating☯️ The Decadence is lovely I would wear to a nice restaurant or venue. 👌🏼 I would try the one she said la belle... but it too gets bad rap. Ehh wgaf wear what you want. Unless reminds of a person you treated shitty or both of you weren’t good for each other. Etc. 🎤

Olympea legend & aqua are excellent flankers too!

Thank you! ❤️ 😊
Some of the Juicy fragrances can be perfect for High School/ College girls who just want a sweet, bubbly smell at an affordable cost too.
I definitely agree with that!
Viva La juicy takes me right back to my grandfathers grape arbor where we would pick those grapes and they were so sweet. I am 63 years old and viva La juicy takes me right back to my childhood. Amazing!
@@suzannesellers7383 Seriously? Your childhood? If you're 63 you were a "child" when? I think the Juicy fragrances came out in the early 2000...so that would have made you forty... m'kay 👌
@@flashyfun5500 She was referring to her grandfather's grape arbor when she said it took her back to her childhood. Not that the Juicy fragrance was something she wore as a child.

Olympea is one of my favourite from my collection and I receive compliments from men every time I have it on that being said it'll stay in my collection probably for a long time. 😁
If you like olympea you'll probably also like Tom Ford Metalique.
I LOVE Olympea. It's so beautiful ❤️.
The fact that this isn't satire.........
Why i like u is because of your honesty. I hate influencers that are too scared to make brands angry at them they mislead their viewers with insincere reviews.
I'll have to disagree on Decadence. For me, Decadence might not smell classy (classy sounds a bit matronly to me) but it's sexy in a mature-woman way. She's in control and she doesn't follow the rules or what's tredy.
Totally agree. Decadence is my dominatrix scent - not too elegant to wear in La Scala or Metropolitan Opera, not too weird or masculine-bossy-harsh type of thing that Tom Ford represents. I was hesitant when buying it in 2018 and perceived it as "too much", but it grew on me. I also own La Belle - that's my top 5 of fragrances, almost my signature scent. I wouldn't agree it's a classy alternative for Decadence - totally different profile and vibe.
I absolutely love Black Opium as well as Juicy Couture....they both go very well with my body chemistry. I most likely will not purchase a second bottle of either one as I love to try new scents.
We want this series to be continued :D Here are some ideas: "Don't smell outdated", "Don't smell childish".

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Viva La Juicy 💖💖 I find it so classy and it makes me happy everytime I wear it 💝
I suppose I’m ratchet to the core. So many of the “high end” fancy perfumes smell disgusting on me. My fav juicy couture perfume is the Noir. It’s decadent to me. My favorite perfume is Tom Ford Lost Cherry. 🍒 I like my fancy things, but I’m not fancy. I’ve got kids. I wear leggings and Pat McGrath makeup. I go with what I like.
Angel is my ratchet-ish perfume. So glad you posted this- it just confirms that I can trust your recommendations, because I can’t stand most of the perfumes you mentioned and I couldn’t figure out why, since they’re all so popular.
I blind bought Black Platinum on your recommendation and I am so happy I did.
Sometimes you need a stripper perfume. HAHA hilarious
This video is so sad. Can we not call other women rachet or trashy for wearing a certain perfume? Everyone where what you want.
I agree. It's one thing to say your opinion on certain perfumes but to call other women trashy for liking them is not an opinion. She could have said everything she doesn't like about these perfumes and not down talk anyone else. I don't know why she did this video because I HOPE she knows that most people don't and shouldn't listen to others when it comes to things they like wearing. If she so much wants to say what perfumes she doesn't like she really could have just said so.
Yea very ridiculous
Who is this chick to make these judgments? I don’t like any of these scents either but Fragrance is literally a medley of scents…..Various Scents that exist on earth and were created to enjoy on various occasions. Who made her “classy judge”? This is So disgusting. Really annoyed me deeply. Who are you but a VERY basic lady yourself ??? If vanilla sex had a name.
@@kix1464I agree. There’s a perfume for everyone and any age. Wear what you like. And….she kept saying you are asking for compliments. Isn’t that part of the reason we want to wear perfume? And also perfume is about confidence, if you can pull it off, wear it.
@@laurajohnson7836 I think most people don’t (or at least shouldn’t) care about getting compliments from others. Wearing perfumes is all about how you feel about yourself. Some take a sniff of their favourite perfume when they are feeling sick or not good, some use perfume to fall asleep better etc. Getting compliments might make most people feel good about themselves but that shouldn’t be part of why to wear perfume. Because if your perfume is so noticeable/memorable it’s overpowering you and the you won’t get noticed/remembered. If you want the perfume to overpower you then by all means go for it. You aren’t harming anyone by doing so. And sometimes people just want to smell their perfumes very strongly (because of reasons already mentioned) but then again they aren’t wearing it to get compliments but to feel good about themselves. You are right though that perfume can be about confidence. If it makes you feel good, you just radiate that feeling. And that’s what I wish to see in the world more of.
Black Opium is not my thing either. I do believe that there is truly a Time and Place for a Sprinkle of Ratchet!🥰
Yes, I agree! 🥰
Black opium was disgusting when I smelled it at ulta and I was wondering if something was wrong with me....Tom ford's lost cherry and flowerbomb had the same effect too...

For real, I can’t listen to reviewers who just rave about everything and don’t get down to the facts
Yes it's different and I love it! It's just for fun 😁
@Bella: Me too!
I wear black opium and get told it smells more vanilla on me. Perfume smells different on everyone, so it's not everyone else's problem if something smells bad on you. Not hating just also being honest
For some reason Viva La juicy always get me the most complements. I got it as a gift and just wanted to use it up to get rid of it but no perfume has ever gotten me this many complements. It even got me the title of "always smelling good" in my friend group during the time I wore it

I agree with all these, especially CH Good Girl. When I was in store I was talking with my husband about not liking the bottle & the smell is just okay...the lady at the counter actually argued with me. Why can't people have unpopular opinions.
That's so funny that she argued with you 😆

I hated Good Girl you’re not the only one lol
It smells like axe shower gel for men.... 😖🤮🤢
This reminded me of something Demi Rawling said about YSL Black Opium smelling like a night of bad choices. I was like yup, that is pretty much exactly what it smells like.
Saw a video from Mina Le Blanc's channel yesterday, and I think she wasn't big on Black "Opium either...
I agree, but I am very much in need of a night of bad choices 😭
Sometimes it's also about how you dress up with the perfume 💅👄
I own some "ratchet" perfumes but I'm VERY aware to not combine them with anything animal prints, overly glossy lips, fake eyelashes etc. 😂
Black Opium can smell so stunning mixed with neutral makeup, blue jeans and a white tank top 😍
absolutely true!
I like this interesting juxtaposition you're creating!
I like a lot of “trashy”perfumes. If I like the smell and it mixes well with my body chemistry, I’ll wear it but I don’t douse myself in it. I think almost any perfume can be nice in moderation. I really like the smell of Black Opium but I don’t have it in my collection yet. To me, I think it’s more of a fall/winter fragrance and I might buy it later this year. Whenever I’m in Ulta I gotta smell Black Opium. I love coffee…so maybe that’s why this scent is so yummy to me.
You used white Girl pics but Black women culture style. The hoops, nails, etc. the undertones of the word ratchet and the pictures that correspond make me feel uncomfortable for some reason. Why didn’t you use pics of them jersey shore girls instead of white women who are trying to be black.
I do However agree with your choices.
Hoops and nails are trash and are not assigned to a color. You are reaching and looking to be offended.
All the gourmands Are dangerous field if you don’t choose perfume and occasion carefully! When you choose smelling like a snack, you usually leave out the sophisticated, elegant vibe!
I agree on all of those suggested.
Only Angel is an exception to me, as I use it extremely sparingly at night and it only smells deep dark chocolate on my skin. ✨
Agreed!
All gourmands are a minefield.
I don't really like Olympea from the bottle but I LOVE the smell of it in my skin and it's one of the perfumes I get most compliments. But I only use it at night for a dinner or party and I can only spray a little, otherwise I get sick of it!
I love my black opium ...guess I just have to be ratchet then. Maybe these fragrances just don’t work well for your chemistry but that doesn’t make it a trashy perfume.
Agree, but my husband loves Viva La Juicy Gold. Put it on once at my parents’ house, bc I didn’t have anything else with me, and I wore it when I was younger. I now wear it for him on special occasions bc he finds the smell so sexy.😂 Definitely not my every day perfume or for when I’m trying to feel sophisticated and put together. Like another comment said, everyone needs that one trashy scent in their collection.🤷🏼♀️

It's funny you'd mention Viva La Juicy as being your signature for awhile! I was OBSESSED with it from 20-25, I thought it smelled so flirty and fun. Now it kind of gives me a headache, I think it's one of those fragrances you outgrow.
The Viva La Juicy Gold is still my sexiest fragrance though 😂 I can't see myself ever getting rid of it.

Black opium is the one scent I get the most compliments. Maybe it’s just not a good fit for you but it definitely does not smell “trashy”.

I feel like Olympea is made for a warmer climate. I am waiting for the hottest days of summer to try out this sample I got...
I don’t care whether we agree on fragrances, but aren’t we past judging and labeling women as trashy??
Im confused...Who’s labeling women as trashy? This video is talking about ratchet/trashy fragrances. I didn’t hear any women being trashed, did I miss something?
You are correct, @C.V. This video is about fragrances ONLY
@@TheScented It really doesn't come across that way. If you said "if you wear this you'll smell like trashy perfume", that's one thing, but to say "you'll smell trashy" it indicates that there are some women who are trashy and you will smell like them. Don't get me wrong...I'm a fan and I understand people take things differently at times, but I'm seeing a bit of an unfortunate trend on some of the fragrance influencer pages that seems to belittle or "sort" women into classes. Ie. perfumes worn by the "plain girls" trying to look cool. It's a little cringey and I don't think how it is coming across is how you mean it. While to some it may just be semantics but to others it's going to matter. Stay well, stay safe.

@Keona Hawkins with everything going on in the world, you don’t need to reach so far. I grew up urban urban, in the ratchet boogie down Bronx of nyc. Ratchet was used to discribe a type of girl, not by their color of skin. Its been used on the Italians in Morris park to the Albanians on alerton ave to the Puerto Rican’s on castle hill. In its recent blowup of use, it has no racist connotations. I can’t speak of the past origins, other than In my years of hearing that word it was never a racial slur, and while I won’t admit my age, let’s just say I am more than a couple of decades old. I get wanting to inform people of the origins that have been lost in history, but next time come with information, not another form of insults and attacks, especially when “I’m savage, yeah, classy, boogie, ratchet, yeah, sassy, moody, nasty...” has actually redefined its meaning into a label that does not carry with it any shame, or derogatory inappropriateness.
“Sometimes you need a stripper perfume” lol 😂
Well guess I'll be buying everything on this list cause I love sweet perfumes. The "classy" scents on the other hand I kinda hate cause it's usually those musky jasmine amber type 😂
juicy couture gold has been my signature scent for 7+ years. I get so many compliments and more importantly it smells SO GOOD to me, so I guess I'll stay "trashy" 😂
Me too, my husband loves it too. But then she would definitely call me trashy as I own 3 tattoo studios, am heavily tattooed and pierced, my husband is opposite to me suited and booted and works in London so I guess rich guys like juicy couture gold 😂
Alien by Thierry Mugler is THE EPITOME of trashy women scent here in the region I live in (in Germany). All the „overdone-lashes-concealer-as-foundation-crazy-gel-nail-box-color-fried-hair“ vibes!
Angel has been my signature fragrance for years and she will remain my signature fragrance. I agree with you about Angel Aqua Chic, that was my summer love, too bad they discontinued it.
Classy would be maybe just discussing fragrances that you don’t enjoy. I’d rather smell of all these fragrances combined that brand anything a stripper scent or be so rude to anyone. . To me, that’s not classy. But hey, get those views gurl.!
Here’s the offended viewer ⬆️
Someone is definitely offended 🤣🤣
@@VAL702 not me. Not at all.. I personally don’t own any off the fragrances mentioned and they’re not to my taste, however, if you’re going to talk about trying to keep it classy, keep it classy. Emphasise what you love, simply say that a certain scent or a particular note is not to your taste. Absolutely no need to bring strippers or anything that puts anyone else down into the conversation at all. I just think, as I said earlier If you’re going to talk about keeping it classy, it’s a good idea to exude some class yourself.I’d never dream to put anyone down for views. It’s easy to give your own preferences and tastes without negating anyone else’s.
@@mamenamamena nope, I’m not offended at all. You can try and label me with that title because it suits your narrative but I’m not offended in any way. I’m.simply making an observation that, in my opinion , a video that is judgemental about what is and is not deemed as classy should, in itself, be classy. I have no emotional, triggery, offended upset in the slightest, I adore my fragrance wardrobe and I love watching fragrance videos on UA-cam. I just thought this was tacky and nasty and normally I’m a firm believer in just letting it go, I wouldn’t normally even dream of leave a dislike, never mind a negative comment, I’d just put it down to personal taste. I just thought in this particular instance that it’s it was worth mentioning that the video was a perfect example of the lack of class it was attempting to put down and disparage. I’m not in myself offended because nothing said triggers anything for me personally, I’m just a passive observer who took a moment to call this out as being nasty. Because it is.
Jay See I see your point but at the end of the day, she’s talking about perfume so it’s not THAT serious in the grand scheme of things 😊
I love how she gives a disclaimer and people still go for the defense looool. Its not something to get offended over when she says she even likes one of the trashy ones. 11:21 i can actually visualize better what you mean by trashy tbh. It probably has alot to do with the people who wear them as well. In my mind i feel like a trashy fragrance are the ones that blend the worse when the person starts to sweet and/or are overpowering to a sickening degree
she quite literally is being micro aggressive idk why you’d defend that
I love Rolling in love and I didn't find it similar to Good Girl, but my sister did. She always says "you smell richer Good Girl:)
Tbh I don’t think she was influencing anybody’s taste or style, she is just giving a perspective for others who want to stand out more and have a more original taste. If you’re not looking for classy and unique, then okay but if so then some recommended. Subjective.
I was feeling so confident like i'm over these, and then got called out so accurately when you got to Olympea. 🤣
Eh i'll still wear it every day 🙈🙉🙊
Lol it's okay I wear it too 🤭
Not sure if am weird but I buy perfumes for my own pleasure so if I like it I will buy. I have bought perfume because I smelled it on other people and hated it on me.
Olympea is my favorite perfume but I can see how it’s a total pick me sent. But I can’t stop wearing it I LOVE it so much. I also have aqua legerie and I agree it’s more toned down. Great video!
Great presentation! How do you feel about light blue?
Viva la Juicy is the bane of my existence. I have always hated it, haha. And SO MANY perfumes (even designer ones) have that distinctive Viva la Juicy “DNA.” It’s headache inducing to me, and it’s a big reason why I avoid so many gourmands these days, unfortunately!
And while I personally don’t wear Angel or Black Opium, I have met people who actually rock them and smell amazing and not trashy at all. Individual body chemistry is an interesting thing sometimes!
Could you recommend scents for sexy demons ? 😂😂😂 I got some what you commented they trashy but you make them sound so funny. I am not offended! 😂😂😂
I love to smell ratchet from time to time! To match or completely clash with the outfit I'm wearing
We want more videos like this please!! Make a series !!!
Even though I own most of the offending fragrances here... this video made me subscribe. Brutal honesty as it’s unapologetic finest- count me in.
I don't know what's up with my body chemistry, but every time I've worn Black Opium, it smells like I've been smoking and covered it with 90s body mist
“Like you spilled an iced cap on yourself” 😂. I agree that Black Opium is not a sophisticated scent AT ALL but I love sweet perfumes and when I wear this I feel so cozy! 🙈
Lmao, Darcey/Stacey as an example of "ratchet" 😂I'm not a native speaker of English but I instantly understood what ratchet means with that example
I don't agree and don't disagree. With perfume it's all about body chemistry and how much you apply. Personally I like to look for scents that are not so main streeme. I think Alien Mugler can easily be on the trashy list and some of Killan fragrances too. Big price tag does not equal classy or posh. But to each its own and that's the magic of perfume 😘
The best perfume I’ve ever smelled was Armani Senci but.. like always, they quit making it.
My daughter just purchased me a bottle of black opium over red and, I haven’t received it yet judging from the reviews it must be fantastic. And I can’t wait to try it. I think everybody has different opinions and personally, I don’t like smelling like my grandma‘s perfume from Avon ..
I used to own black opium, and I loved the scent, it was an impulse buy, within a month I hated it, just gives me bath and body works vibes

Maybe you should take a look in a mirror.
