This looks like the perfect bag to pack your pillows in. I like using my own pillows when I travel & they are always just thrown on top of our bags in the trunk.
Or to throw towels in when you go out on the boat.
… Or to throw a bunch of dry goods in when you’re staying at the lake.
But yeah, a key bungee or D ring would make sense.😊

I bought one and put it aside for Christmas. I just barely opened the bag to make sure it was the right bag and color and put it in the basement. I can’t wait to use it

I just received mine today in metallic expresso from QVC. I was also underwhelmed by this bag and am returning it. I also ordered the buoy and am keeping them.
The buoys felt redundant to other things i have... but i used them and was really glad to have them! (I put a candy bar in the insulated one... worked PERFECT.)
Great review! I almost didn’t buy this bag because there wasn’t a key bungee and zip top but I decided to just use a coupe for my keys and I will definitely use this as a dump bag so I’ll use lots of pouches to organize. Yes where is the D ring to hold the matching pouches! I did order the butterfly grey yacht and buoys and waiting on it to arrive.
I discovered that the pouches DO fit in the cargo pockets nicely, but I still would have liked a spot to clip them.
I didn’t buy because it didn’t have the bungee key clip. I watched the QVC presentation three times to be sure I wasn’t missing it. Maybe keys go in the zip pouch on the travel sleeve.
That was a huge miss as was missing the chance to put a D ring

I remember Kirsten saying the pouches fit in the cargo pockets inside. But I still think some sort of bungee or d-ring would be better. I might buy another Rover XL instead bc it’s perfect to throw all my kids stuff in.
They DO fit inside the cargo pockets--- I tried it out yesterday... but I still don't understand the clip without a spot to clip it to, you know?
Really great review Meredith. I appreciate your thoughts and your honesty. I have one coming from the Q, that I haven't received yet. I'll be honest, I had reservations for a couple of big reasons. #1, No zipper on top. #2, lacking in organizational features inside. Absolutely would like a key bungee. I am dieing for a new "Perfect" weekender. I don't think this is going to be it. I went ahead and ordered the bag to see it in person, knowing I could easily return it, but I was seduced by the Metallic Espresso. : (
Hey Pam! I used it this weekend when I was traveling with all my kids-- I filled up Bento Boxes with each kids pajamas, and one bento box with snacks, and as long as I thought about using other things inside of it, it worked great. Not sure how I feel about it being loose... but if you use packing cubes, this might be great!

@@lugunplugged Hey there Meredith! My Yacht arrived today. 🛥 Oof! That Metallic Espresso sure is pretty! I have a perfect opportunity to take her out for a “maiden voyage” the day after Thanksgiving. ☺️. We have a weekend excursion planned. So, I’ll take her, and maybe Miss Piggy 🐷 (my trolley), for a spin and see how they do! 😁
I cannot believe that there is no key leash!!! And how is this a travel bag with no zipper??? I ordered one from LugLife but am disappointed to hear this. I did purchase a few buoy sets…

I ordered one in Espresso Metallic. I had a similar reaction. It’s beautiful, but I’m underwhelmed and not as excited as when i saw it presented. I also really think it should have a key bungee.
The Espresso Metallic was intriguing... but I still went with love stripe black.
I like this bag, but also found it to be underwhelming. I would’ve loved to of seen more pockets on the outside, the bungee he clip, and maybe a privacy zip pocket on the inside.

I didn't get one because no zip. Also no cross body option. I don't think they could have put a d ring in to attach the pouches because the bag lacks structure and it would have pulled the side (or wherever it was attached) in collapsing on itself. That said some sort of key ring, even if it was a large leash would be amazing.
yeah, you might be right about a d-ring to connect things to... but perhaps a tiny zip pocket for keys then?
I like the Yacht better than the Rover.
I don't see whats the point of the trolley sleeve if it doesn't have a zipper closure for travel. 🤷♀️
I wonder if having a zipper on the bottom of the trolley is tricky because then it wont slide over the handles of a suitcase as easily...?
