It's such a fucking work of art and easily my favorite Ghibli film.
funny thing is, I've been contemplating rewatching that movie again too! It's my favorite movie ever and I've watched it roughly a dozen times. Gives me so much serotonin. Thanks to that little costume performance, I think I'm gonna give in and watch it again tonight.

I can't belive that the same Kormit from Otzdarva's videos plays FFXIV as well. My day has been made even better.
I'm not familiar with this MMO so I'm not certain if this is normal but I'd just like to take a moment to appreciate how well behaved everyone is during this event. No one's spamming chat, no ones jumpin' up on stage, no one's crowding Shen. All in all really well done.
I like how the clip for first place was just my lalafell burning Morgana out of existence

i don't play this game, but was one of the cutest things i've seen in a long time. they say that limitation breeds creativity, and i think this really sold that! these were all just so wonderful to watch! my favorite was probably the Frog/Glenn costume. seeing him change outfits with the chest just melted my heart. i do hope these continue to happen in the future,
I love that there was a Viridi cosplay in there. As a Kid Icarus Uprising fan (it being one of my first ever video games I bought myself) I really love that even though it didn’t get a sequel (yet!) that fans are still here and repping the franchise!
That Viridi cosplay made me smile like a total goofball, it was so good. :)
This boosted my serotonin levels so high. I've only ever cried out of happiness once in my life and this nearly got me there. That duo Howl's Moving Castle cosplay SENT ME. I'm so happy Shen and her friends also appreciate that film because it is a MASTER PIECE.

Honestly, Chocobo Knight takes the cake for me. The whole transformation sequence with the costume appearing piece by piece looks so good, and then Shen puts the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme overtop... perfection XD

I spent most of the event outside the FC house cuz I disconnected while inside and was kicked out, and when I logged back in, I couldnt get inside cuz it was full already. I still enjoyed the event through the stream tho so I still had fun. Loved seeing all the costumes everyone came up with and cant wait for next year as well
I loved every bit of that. Shen and Co were freaking hilarious, the attendants were genuinely astounding, best halloween and thing to come out of 2020. Also, seriously bless you for getting that player the game as a prize. You are a birthday cake, the undoubtedly best cake on earth.

The fact that Sophie (2nd placer) was on a trial account really shook me because the amount of time to put that costume together could have been so miniscule, and yet, here we are. She won 2nd place and Shen offered to buy her the game. Amazing. ❤️
