    The ICO wrote to them this week and told them to release my bodycam footage, and ordered them to arrange training for all staff. They were told they failed to follow correct data protection procedures and the reason they gave for withholding it (so I don’t post it on UA-cam) isn’t a valid reason.

      They are trying to use data protection against me too but although the ICO told them to sort it out they are still refusing. They will have to provide it when I take them to court though because they have to disclose, so I will get it in the end.

      @@PINACI slowly slowly catch a piggy 🐷! We need to stand up against this Gang and challenge them, when they act inappropriately and fabricate facts to suit their own narrative! Just because when they put on the uniform, they think it gives them Carte Blanche to bend and distort the law, to suit their situation. Recent events have shown that they employ rapists, murderers, drug dealers, so why should we trust and respect them like we’ve always been told! They dislike you because you have the stones to stand your ground and challenge what they say, all in a calm and reasonable manner 😀 unlike most piggies! ✊

    Can’t wait for you to get back out there doing some audits, I love the way you shut the police up. Keep going mate 👍👍

    They struggle to follow their Codes of Practice (which DO form part of legislation)sometimes, let alone a mere policy.

    It may also be the case that if they do not inform you then they cannot use it as evidence against you.

    Cheers. For clarification.
    The word 'Practicable' means as soon as is convenient.
    Thus:. Copper approaches you and gives a diatribe of cop-splaining. Wait for him to finish. Pause before answering. This gives AMPLE TIME to inform you of his actions.
    Or when he's finished, ask if there is anything he might like to add!
    This doesn't stop you from over talking or just not wishing to listen because, and forgive me, but why remind him of his duties. You can bring this up later if you have to. Don't show your hand because for all you know they will destroy your footage and not tell you it's being recorded by them in the hope you DONT request for his footage.
    In my view: interact. Don't show your hand. Let them dig their own graves.

      @Steve Gee bad advice I think!
      If I stood in front of you in a crowd of your mates and said that you owed me a tenner and you said nothing, I can guarantee that my CLAIM will be heard by others and your REBUTTAL won't be because you didn't disagree!
      Coppers make claims. Rebut the claim and that's it. You certainly don't have to give him your life story, I agree. But if the claim of a crime is made the a rebuttal helps, and if a claim of Brocken contract is made then again an instant rebuttal of " you have the wrong person" is all you need to then make a return claim after the fact.
      In my view 😀

      @Steve Gee I disagree.
      You owe me a tenner because you said that you can post after one of my posts without me seeing it.
      I win.

    How can you expect them to remember all this when they can't even tell you their collar number ?

    Good advice there Pinaci, could you be the new Crimebodge?

    I think they should change it so they record there entire paid shift. just like any other job where you have to interact with the public. 'IN THIS DAY AND AGE' data storage isn't a problem, what police chat about might well be.

    • @PINACI
      @PINACI  3 роки тому

      I have many body cameras that I use and none of them can record a whole 12hr shift. On one of them I can record for up to 8-10hrs if I turn down the video quality so there would be issues for them to record their entire shift. Maybe loop record unless there was an incident but then evidence you would rely on would end up getting recorded over !

    • @sqwrl5424
      @sqwrl5424 3 роки тому

      @@PINACI then why not record low quality until required, carry another battery, bigger memory card. im sure technology wouldn't be the let down. think of all the he said she said arguments that could never be taken to court, all the coruption, biased weeded out.
      You wouldn't catch a mcdonalds employee/ busdriver working out of sight of a camera would you? Full transparancy and unequivocally accountabitity as required, Protects everybody.

      @@sqwrl5424 Bus drivers and normal CCTV like you get at McDonalds have a power supply and hard drive storage whereas body cams are limited to sd cards and lithium batteries so have limitations. Hopefully one day battery technology will get better and then I'm sure everything will be recorded 24/7
