My pleasure!
It's really amazing lesson for me at least because I didn't know that you use the collective nouns in English like we do in Arabic, I was guess that we only use this deep grammar when we treat a group word - for example - as one unit or as one entity and the meaning will mention always to plural, we call it in Arabic ( اسم جنس جمعي مثل كلمة التفاح ) .
And also new words, new sentences, thank you so much Madam
Interesting! I love hearing about how other languages use grammar rules and how things are similar and different. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for your extremely helpful videos. How about ‘people’? Is that collective noun?
People is the plural form of "person". So no, it's not collective. It's an irregular plural noun. You can learn more here: ua-cam.com/video/BLaf9_jHQyQ/v-deo.html
You are good teacher. From Indian occupied Kashmir.

Thanks for watching! 😁
Both “My family is” and “My family are” are correct in British English, while “My family is” is most common in American English. This is because “family” is a collective noun, and American English generally treats collective nouns as singular, while British English treats them as plural.
Thanks for sharing! I teach American English :)

Way to go! 🙌
I'm kinda confused now because I watched a video from EngVid about collective nouns, and the teacher explains that it could be both singular or plural. Basically in the US they treat collective nouns as singular; whereas, in the UK they treat it as plural. By in large, the teacher states that it depends on you if you are accentuating the whole entity or individual.
I'm sorry you're confused. I teach American English. In British English (which I don't speak or teach) I know they have differences with collective nows. If you live and speak British English, I recommend following those rules for collective nouns. But in North America it would sound weird to us to hear "The team are...", which might be normal in British English. Hopefully that doesn't confuse you further! Best of luck!
I want to go to ur website but its not secure so umm?

2. Everyone doesn't like the way of policement acts

People is already plural, you don't need to add an "s" ;)
Teacher why [ A majority ] words in front of put [A] ya ?
Hello. Great contents! I have a question … what about the word “people”.
Is “people” a compound word ?

Hi! Is guerrilla a collective noun?
No, it's not. It can be used as an adjective and a noun. As a noun, it would take a plural form :)
